CHAP 1
The first day in our honeymoon wasnt as great as I had thought. During the time
we drove to this beautiful beach, she didnt talk to me anything. She just kept silent
and sent messages. Sometimes, she would giggle a little after reading the messages
was sent back to her. How I wished I had had her smile for what I said and gave
her just one time. I knew who she was texting to. I knew who she was missing. I
also knew what she was hoping then.
My heart stung when she wondered why the time passed so slowly. She wanted the
time in our honeymoon passed as fast as it could so she could come back to her
happy life with her dear boyfriend. What should I do more? It was only me that fell
in love with her at the first sight.
I still remembered the day I met her. Tiffany was like a princess. I met her in a
prom. My corporation and Hwangs corporation sponsored for her university so we
decided to organize a prom for that event. She had been introduced to me by Mr
Hwang who was my father-in-law now. The first time I saw her, my heart couldnt
stop beating fast. She was the most gorgeous girl I had never met before. She was
in a pink dress. The way her eyes smiled along with her beautiful smile was
memorized in my mind.
Im hungry. When will we come there?
The voice from the girl sitting next to me snapped me out of my thought

I turned to her side and smiled

I stopped my car in front of a lovely house which was painted with a creamy white
color.
Then, I heard a soft snore came from the girl beside me. I turned my head to her
and I couldn't help but to smile. Tiffany was sleeping soundly with her head
leaning against the passenger door. She must have been really tired. I decided to
turn off the engine and stared at my wife. I always admired her beauty. She didnt
need to make up so thickly. Even she didnt need to wear the most expensive
clothes, she was still pretty like the goddesses in myth.
After more than 10 minutes to capture and carve her gorgeous beauty, I decided to
wake her up. I leaned down to shake her a little bit.
Fany a~ Wake up
But there was no sign that she would wake up. Therefore, I convinced myself to
carry her up and bring her inside. I opened the driver door and got out then closed
it lightly so I wouldnt make a noise to wake the girl up. I went to the other side
and opened the passenger door. I held her head tenderly then carried her up.
Unluckily, she woke up. She opened her eyes widely when she got her
consciousness back.
What the hell are you doing? Put me down
She yelled out loud and hit my shoulders hard.
I put her down immediately.
Youre sleeping so soundly so I just want to help you
I explained
Who says to need your help?
Then she went back to the back of the car to take her luggage
I felt absolutely devastated. She didnt need to be so mean like that.

She rolled her eyes and walked as fast as she could to get inside
I let out a heavy sigh then started to take my luggage too.
When I got inside the house, I heard she was talking in phone with someone. As
soon as I knew exactly who that person was, my heart sunk down one more time.
Its boring to be here baby
Ill be home after 2 days

Dont be mad. I also dont want to go but daddy said if I didnt go, he would cut
off all my allowance

Tiffany turned her head back after finishing talking with her boyfriend. Her smile
on her face disappeared immediately when she saw her husband standing in front
of her.
I think you understand our situation now
She said with a serious voice
I understand and I dont force you anything
Taeyeon said then went to one room next to the living room. He stopped walking
then said without turning his back
You can choose any rooms in this house that you like. Well have a dinner later
Then he went inside his room.
If someone says that husband & wife have to sleep with each other, Tiffany will
break their bones!!!

CHAP 2
Today, the weather was beautiful. Taeyeon opened the window in his room. He
closed his eyes and took a deep breath. The winds blew slightly and teased
playfully with his face. Taeyeon felt his mind peaceful a little bit after being
obsessed by glum thought last night.
After refreshing his mind, Taeyeon went inside the bathroom to take a quick bath.
Taeyeon took a look at the clock on the table beside his bed. It was 7AM.
It was still very early. Taeyeon decided to let Tiffany sleep more because she had
vomited so much the night before. The reason was because the restaurant had
mistaken their main course with someone else. Instead of bringing to them their
fried fish, they brought to them fried insects. As soon as the foods were laid on the
table, Tiffany had ran to the restroom and vomited badly. Taeyeon had to help his
wife to get back to their house and made a nutritional porridge for her and took
care of her since Tiffany got fever after that.
Taeyeon walked outside his room and went to the kitchen to make breakfast for
him and his wife.
I think I will make an Americans breakfast for her
Taeyeon talked with himself. He remembered that his mother-in-law used to tell
him Tiffany had growth up in America so she really liked Americas cuisine.
Taeyeon knew that he was too old for a girl like Tiffany. Because of the gap of
age, sometimes Taeyeon thought that he couldnt understand anything about what
the young ladies liked. He just knew that he would try his best. He would do
everything for her to ask her for a chance which was for their marriage.
Taeyeon admitted that he felt painful when he knew Tiffany already had had a
boyfriend. He felt more painful when Tiffany didnt care a little bit about what he
thought. He just wanted a tiny respect from his wife. Maybe, she was still too
young.
Taeyeon opened the fridge and took 2 eggs, hams and milk. He started frying the
egg. Then he poured them into two plates. After that, Taeyeon poured milk into

one glass and made a cup of coffee for himself. He put the foods on the table after
finishing everything.
As soon as Taeyeon finished their breakfast, Tiffany walked outside. She looked
better than yesterday.

Taeyeon smiled at her

Tiffany smiled back at him
Do you feel better now?
Yes, I feel better now. Thanks for taking care of me last night
Its nothing. By the way, Im your husband so its my duty to take care of you
Taeyeon gave her his charming smile
Tiffanys smile disappeared suddenly. She was touched by Taeyeons kindness
toward her. She was touched when Taeyeon said that. She was touched by his
responsibility of a husband. But, that couldnt mean anything. She had been in
relationship with her boyfriend for more than 2 years. She really liked him.
Moreover, she didnt have feeling for Taeyeon.
Taeyeon saw the change on Tiffanys face. He understood immediately what made
her like that. Ah, I have made breakfast for you. I bet that youll be very hungry
now because you just ate porridge yesterday. So, lets eat
Taeyeon tried to divert the conversation between them

The atmosphere between them was very silent even they could hear clearly the

Taeyeon was frozen at the time he saw Tiffanys eye smile. He had hoped that he

he finally saw it. His heart skipped a beat. He was totally tuckered. His all body
wanted to fall down on the floor immediately.

CHAP 3
The sound of the rain from outside could be heard more and more clearly. Thunder
started striking loudly. A beautiful weather in the morning was replaced by a
gloomy weather then.
Tiffany was curling her body inside a thick comforter while shivering so badly.
She wasnt scared of the darkness but she scared of the darkness in the rainy days.
She was scared of thunder and the coldness was brought by the rain.
Tiffany was shivering unstoppably. She couldnt sleep. Her fear kept eating up her
mind. Tiffany tried to lift up her shivering hand to turn on the night-light beside
her bed. After that the darkness was vanished immediately. Though it was just a
dim light, Tiffany still felt better.
It is 3:15AM
Tiffany mumbled to herself after taking a look at her phones clock.
BANG
Tiffany jolted up by another loud sound. She covered her whole body with the
comforter.
BANG BANG
Tiffany was at the edge of bursting out crying. She started sobbing.
Then, her rooms door opened up suddenly. Tiffany was stunned and scared. She
was ready to yell out loud.
Dont be scared, Fany. Its me
Realizing a familiar voice, Tiffany let out a relieved sigh.

Tiffany called her husband softly. Her voice was still shaking a little bit
Taeyeon walked to her side and sat down on her bed.
I was passing your room then I heard your sob so I decide to go inside to make
sure that youre fine. Are you alright?
Taeyeon asked her worriedly because he could see her pale face under the dim
light.
Tiffany didnt say anything. She leaned toward and hugged her husband suddenly.
Taeyeon opened his eyes widely after receiving a sudden hug from his wife.
Im sorry but can you hug me? Im really scared now
Tiffany said with a pleading voice
Taeyeon smiled and hugged her back. He caressed her back up and down to
comfort her.
Its okay. You dont need to be scared because Im already here
People could say that Taeyeon was a mad man. It was okay because he really liked
this side of his wife. Tiffany was like a little puppy when she was scared of
something.
They stayed in each other arms until Taeyeon heard a cute snore from the girl in
his arms. Tiffany had fallen asleep in her husbands embrace. Taeyeon let out a
chuckle at his wifes adorableness.
Taeyeon helped his wife lie back on her bed. Then, he lifted up his hand to caress
one of Tiffanys cheeks. Tiffany looked so peaceful when she was sleeping. Her
breath was stable to show that she was sleeping soundly and she wasnt scared
anymore.
What should I do now, Fany? Is it really difficult to give our marriage a try? Or
am I too old for a young and beautiful girl like you?
Taeyeon talked to the girl who was in her dreamland.

Then, Taeyeon walked to the sofa in his wifes room and sat on it. He stared
lovingly at his wife with a tangled thought. Taeyeon decided to sit there to take
care of his wife. He was worried if she jolted up suddenly because of her fear. He
couldnt help but to admit that he was happy when she hugged him. Though it was
just because she was scared and need someone to stay with her, Taeyeon still felt
happy.
After a rainy night, the weather in the next morning seemed brighter. The birds
were chirping. The sound of waves from outside waked up a sleeping beauty.
Tiffany stretched her arms while yawning. She felt much better after a sound sleep
last night.
Whats that smell?
Tiffany made her way to the door and opened it. As soon as the door was opening,
a delicious smell stroke to her nose immediately. Tiffany walked to the kitchen and
saw her husband was laying their breakfast on the table. He was wearing a blue
apron outside his white shirt and short black jeans.
Taeyeon seemed realize the appearance of his wife, he lifted up his head and
smiled at her
Good morning, Fany
M-morning
Tiffany stuttered to greet him back
What are you doing, Tae?
Tiffany walked toward her husbands direction
I have made pancakes for you
He smiled and pulled a chair for her

Taeyeon turned back to the fridge and took out a bottle of milk. Then, he poured
milk into a glass and put it into the micro wave.

Tiffany still observed her husband from the beginning.
I guess so. Youre really like pink things, right?
Taeyeon chuckled and took out the glass of milk from the micro wave
Here you are
He put a glass of milk and her favorite strawberry jam in front of her.

He turned around to walk to the across side so Tiffany wouldnt see his blushed

person. Tiffany always talked about him. She talked about how cool he was, how
handsome he was, how sweet he was and how much she liked him. Tiffany had
told me that she would never break up with her dear boyfriend because of our
marriage. Our marriage was just a business between the two biggest corporations.
Anyway, I didnt hope she would requite back the same feeling I gave to her. I just

this time his uncomprehended expression irked her.

Taeyeon turned the stare from Siwon to Tiffany. He was trying to swallow what
she had just said.

Siwon was her boy friend and she liked him. Tiffany also knew that she shouldnt
tell Siwon about the place they were staying during the honey moon. But, she
really couldnt think that Siwon would come here to find her. She missed him too
but the way Taeyeon stormed out of the house making her feel more guilty.

Siwons voice snapped Tiffany back to the reality

Tiffany shook her head. She remembered the caring side of Taeyeon when he took
care of her, when he just walked to her room at night to make sure she was
sleeping soundly.

Tiffany asked her boy friend while they were cuddling with each other on the sofa
in the living room.

I didnt want to be here left out on the side

I didnt want to be the other guy in your life
I just wanted you to give our marriage a try. Was it really hard?
Lying on the white sand, I could feel the tease from blowing winds. They giggled
and gossiped with each other about me. Did they pity for my situation?
I let the winds scramble my already tangled hair. I wanted the winds to blow my
mind. I didnt want to think about anything now. I had suppressed too much hurt
and tears. My heart had already got too many scars. I just wanted to let go of
everything. Should I let her go?
Every time I closed my eyes, the image of an eye smile girl appeared in my mind. I
dreamed about her every night. I thought about her everyday and I hoped that I
could see her every minute in a day. I knew that I had fallen for her too deeply and
I couldnt forget her as easy as I wanted. I loved her but I didnt want to force her
anything. People had their own right to fall in love so I couldnt force her to love
me while she was in love with someone else. I could be the most stupid guy in the
world and I could be the most pitied guy in the world but I still didnt want to
obligate her.
Lifting up my hand to cover the intense light from the Sun, I squinted my eyes a
little bit when some of the Suns rays stroke into my eyes. I took my hat beside me
and covered my face with it. I enjoyed this rare and peaceful time.
When I jolted up because of feeling cold, I realized the Sun was setting.
How long have I slept here?
I decided to go back home. I walked to my car and got inside.
Its 6PM. I think that I should buy something for me and her to eat

After 15 minutes, my foods were brought. I took them and paid then left the
restaurant. It took me 20 minutes to go back the house. This vacation house was
opposite the beach. I could say that this was the personal beach. But, I didnt come
there in some minutes before. I drove to another side.
I held to the knob and turned it but it didnt move.
She isnt at home. It seems like she has gone with him
I mumbled to myself and took out the key inside my pocket to open the door.
I turned on the light and walked into the kitchen and put those take-away on the
kitchen table. I didnt have appetite to eat now. Maybe I should take another rest so
I walked outside the kitchen and sat down on the sofa.
After an hour and a half later, a sound of the sport car waked me up. I stood up and
took a peek at the watch 9:00PM

were kissing each other.
Unconsciously, my tears dropped down on my burning cheeks.
After bidding goodbye to her boyfriend, Tiffany walked inside the vacation house.
Siwon had to come back to Seoul because his fathers emergency call.

Tiffany was started because Taeyeon was standing in front of the door
Taeyeon didnt say anything. He walked back to his room.
I bought food for you. Eat it if you havent had dinner yet. Well go home

Tiffany felt the weirdness in the way Taeyeon said. She felt guilty. She knew that
he had seen her with Siwon before.
Tiffany walked inside the kitchen. She saw two take-away on the table
So, he hasnt eaten yet
She opened up one of the take-away bags. She saw her favorite Japanese food
eels with rice. A lot of eels.
Why do you try so much like that Taeyeon? You know that I cant requite back
the same feeling you give to me

Tiffany waked up late in the next morning. She walked outside her room after
packing her bags. The kitchen was empty. There should have been a delicious
breakfast waiting for her and she would be welcomed by a warm smile from her
husband.
I think he is still sleeping now
She said to herself and walked into the kitchen to make their breakfast. Tiffany
thought that she should make something for him to eat because he hadnt eaten
anything.
Should I make dukbokki?
Tiffany opened the fridge but there was nothing.
I should go out and buy some ingredients
Tiffany closed the fridge then walked outside the kitchen to get her coat. She took
her shoes from the shoe rack and wore them.
Tiffany opened the front door and got started immediately.
Taeyeon was sitting inside his car. He didnt move at all. He just looked ahead.
I think he is still sleeping. What does he do outside?
Tiffany wondered then walked toward Taeyeons car. Then, she knocked on the
cars windshield. Taeyeon turned to her side and pulled down the cars windshield.
What are you doing outside, Tae?

Since the sunrise. I couldnt sleep at all
Tiffany realized dark rings around Taeyeons eyes and the guilt stroke her one
more time.
On the other side, Taeyeon saw Tiffany furrowed her eyebrows. He thought that
she was uncomfortable.
If you have finished all things, we will go now
Taeyeon got out of the car.

Tiffany held his arm when she saw he was about to go somewhere.

They were sitting in a convenient store while eating sandwiches and ramen. After
having used her strength which was her eye smile, she convinced Taeyeon to eat
breakfast with her. They decided to eat breakfast on the way going back to Seoul.

Tiffany said and took a bite from her tuna sandwiches

Tiffany wiped her hands and turned to Taeyeons side
You look really hungry. How come you have said that you didnt have appetite?
Tiffany chuckled at Taeyeon because he was eating the third bowl.
Taeyeon was blushed when he heard Tiffanys chuckle. She was so cute when she
was amazed at something.

Taeyeon diverted their conversation so she would stop teasing him
Araso, Ill buy ice cream at the opposite store. It seems like this convenient store

bird perching on the nearest branch.

closely to her husband to look clearly. There was no distance between them, but it

Tiffany felt something warm on her own lips. The sweet memories appeared. She
felt so peaceful.

Taeyeon broke the kiss between them. He lifted his hands and cupped her face.
Tiffany felt the warmth on her cheeks, opened her eyes, met the gentle stare in
front of her.
"Let's sleep"Taeyeon smile charmingly at his wife.
Tiffany was still trying to get back her consciousness. She blinked her eyes many
times.
'I kissed him'
She felt so confused. This feeling was so hard to describe. The warmth, Taeyeon
brought to her, was totally different from what Siwon gave her.
She felt safe and shy with their kiss. Moreover, she was so confused about the
feeling she gave to her husband. She shouldn't have this confusing feeling toward
him.
"Are you okay?"

Time passed so fast. It was already the end of July.

Thanks to the help of Taeyeon, Tiffany finished her project smoothly. Tiffany was
very proud of her work. The relationship between Taeyeon and her was still
blurred though they felt more comfortable with each other than before. Taeyeon
still respected his wife's decision. He didn't want to pressure her anything. He just
waited for her to turn on the 'green light' for him.
Tiffany was still confused about her feeling toward her husband. She just knew
that she had a very weird habbit these days that she couldn't sleep if Taeyeon came
home late at night. She would wait for him in their room then pretended to sleep
when she heard the sound of the opened door.
"Good job, Tiffany Hwang"

Dr.Dong smiled satisfiedly, and patted her shoulder while Tiffany was standing in
front of the whole class.
"I have just skimmed your project, but I was really impressed by your attached
pictures. They're just....." He pulled up his glasses a little bit "Wow"
Tiffany just smiled proudly, but she was so obliged to her calm husband inside.
"I think that your score for this project will be not low, Ms Hwang"

"Hey"
A familiar voice called me, and I know who this voice belongs to. I didn't like this
feeling. Though I didn't want to admit, I had to say I missed this voice so much.
I hated this uncomfortable feeling inside me.
I looked up when I got inside my house.
There he was, my husband, was sitting on the couch in the living room. He was
smiling brightly at me. I felt my inside churning.
Then, Taeyeon chuckled. My face was burning like crazy. He stood up.
"Somebody is hungry. Come on, I have made some foods for dinner. Appa &
Umma are meeting their old friends."
He walked towards the kitchen. I looked at his firm back. He was always kind like
this. One more time, I didn't want to admit that I had missed this caring side of
Kim Taeyeon towards me for a week .
I just stood dumfoundedly there, lost in my own thought.

I was snapped out of my own thought. I lifted up my head to look at him. He was
furrowing his eyebrows worriedly.

This dinner looked like a medley between different cuisine. Was he an undercover

"Yes, I cooked all of them by myself" He answered and smiled "I cooked every
dishes that you like. Though I had struggle a little bit, I still completed my works."
I could feel my eyes glistening. I was so touched with his words. He always cared
about me. He cooked all the dishes that I liked.
"Hey, what's wrong?"
Taeyeon's smile faded when he saw Tiffany's tears slowly rolling down on her
cheeks.He uncrossed his arms and walked towards her.
"Why do you cry, Fany?"
Taeyeon lifted up his thumb to wipe away her tears.
"Why do you treat me so well like that?....even..." She choked with her own words

Taeyeon sighed, then he pulled her into his embrace.

He stroked her long brown hair softly.

how much meaningful she was to him, he chose to keep that intense feeling to

was very happy about that. However, he couldn't stand to see a Tiffany who was
always lost in her own world. She was always in her daydream.

Taeyeon lifted up his cup of coffee to take a sip. His eyes glued to the sight of the
night outside. Everything was dark and pretty cold. The street wasnt crowded with
people anymore. It seemed like everyone had gone home at this time. He was so
into his own thought; thus, he did not realize the apperance of another man who
was walking toward him with a not satisfied face at all.

Tiffany slid the money into the taxi drivers hand. Then, she opened the taxis
door as fast as she could. She ran into the airport as if she was running for her life.
She looked around. Her heartbeat was racing like crazily. Her inside was burning.
Her mind was so full of that persons image.
She tried to find him among the sea of people at the airport. Then, she remembered
about the gates number that his assistant had told her. She snapped her fingers
and ran again.
Everyone looked at her like she was a girl who lived in another world. Why?
The girl whose name was Tiffany was one of the most fashionable girls in Korea,
but she looked like a rich girl whose family had just been bankrupt.
She was wearing a wrinkled dress. Her mascara was ruined because of her tears.
Her hair was messy.
However, Tiffany did not care anything about how many weird stares that people
were giving to her. She just cared about how she could find that person the
person she had made him hurt many times.
Tiffany ran to the gate that his assistant had told her, but the gate had already
closed. Tiffany shook her head many times. She did not want to believe the truth
that Taeyeon left her without saying goodbye properly.

Tiffany rushed to the gate. She wanted to go inside. She wanted to meet him, tell
him the truth, tell him about her feeling for him.
Nevertheless, she could not enter the gate. The guard had stopped her before she
could enter.

Tiffany tried to break out of the tight hold

The other guard got angry. He pushed her hard and made her fell onto the cold
floor.
Tiffany did not give up. She stood up and rush forward again.

Tiffany pleaded. Her tears rolled onto her cheeks one more time. Though the pain
from her back after being pushed so hard, she still wanted to go inside, to meet
him. She did not know how long she could meet him again. He left without
knowing her real feeling, so he could leave her forever. Who knew?

Tiffany seemed that she did not care about what he said. She bit his left arm, and it
made him yelp. Tiffany used this opportunity to push him aside and run inside, but
the other guard had caught her before she could do it.
Dont blame me for treating to a girl like this, its all your false, stubborn bitch.
Then, he grabbed her neck and gripped it tightly. Tiffany groaned in pain, but the
man ignored her. Everyone just looked at her. No one came to help her.

A stern voice came behind the guards back, and he felt a tap on his shoulder.

He turned his head back to look at who the hell did it.

to. She was devastated.

Tiffany stopped crying. Her eyes opened widely. This cant be.......him?
Tiffany looked up and found that familiar face. His soft gaze, his concerned eyes.

Tiffany whispered
Dont care about the pain on her back, her neck, her whole body, Tiffany dashed
herself toward the man standing in front of her. She hugged him as tight as she
could. She swore that she would never let go of this warm embrace. Her tears fell
down again.....but this time........they were happy teardrops.
Taeyeon was shocked. He did not prepare that Tiffany would do that. But, after
hearing her sob, naturally, he wrapped his arms around her and hugged her back.

Tiffany felt herself lost into his soft whisper. She felt warm and secure again.
But, Tiffany felt panic when she felt Taeyeon pulled away slowly. Immediately,
she cluched the fabric in her hands tighter, but she felt calm again when she felt a
soft thing on her forehead.
Taeyeon kissed her forehead.

Taeyeon tried to catch a little girl, who was in the pink dress, was hugging a weird

The little girl stopped running. She turned around and saw her appa lying on the
floor. She tilted her head cutely and ran toward him.

Little pink girl climbed on her appas torso and sat in it.

Taeyeon smiled on his smile because how cute his little girl was, but still pretended
to sleep.

She shook her body.

Then, she lay down on his torso while hugging her favorite chacracter Keroro.

Taeyeon smiled after hearing that. He then wrapped his strong arms around his
small daughter and kissed her head.
