Role of Caste and casteism of Indian Politics:

violence has raised into head even in some urban areas.

factor of state politics in India, particularly in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Bihar,
Haryana, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharastra, Tamilnadu and Uttar Pradesh.
In Andhra Pradesh the electoral politics is virtually caste politics all the
political parties, National regional, communist and non communist including
revolutionary parties like Maoists, their policies, programmes and activities with
reference to the caste factor.
