Date of submission: 17th Nov 7 AM Type of submission: Soft copy word document and PPT (no PDF please) Mid-term deliverable: On 11th Nov from 9.30 AM onwards. The deliverables are Methodology, Data Collection All your assignments will go through plagiarism test. This will be checked at http://www1.ephorus.com/ (Plagiarism should be less than 10%, however, words/phrases in vision, mission, goals will not be considered as plagiarized). Any report that has plagiarism contents more than 10% will not be evaluated. Different sections expected in the report: 1. Executive Summary (write at the end. Executive summary should consist of background of the project (5 to 6 lines), methodology adopted (primary/secondary research, sources of information one paragraph 4 to 5 lines), results, benefits to stakeholders, managerial implication, way forward, conclusion. 2. Methodology: The methodology section will discuss the approach that you have taken to complete the project. The different sub-sections will be (i) mode of data collection (whether primary or secondary source of data), sample selection criteria ( in case of primary survey, i.e. if you have interviewed some persons, then the sub section will have details of criteria for selecting the role of the interviewee), how many have you interviewed, etc. If you decide to do the entire design through secondary survey, then please mention the sources which have been used for collecting data. 3. Data Collection: In this section you will mention number of data points actually collected and the profile of the respondents. This section is redundant in case you go for secondary survey. 4. Data Analysis: a. Industry Analysis (PESTEL) b. Organization (VMG framework, Strategies, Business Metrics, Stakeholders and their objectives) c. For secondary survey write it as a case study giving, (at least) following details: Background of the organization, industry characteristics, business goals and objectives of the organization, issues and challenges faced by the firm, what are the goals of KM. d. Show the PROPOSED KM function organization structure (CKO, Working Group, CoP, KM architecture and process of data
collections, work flow engine which should be integrated with KM
process) 5. Change Management: a. Factors that would affect KM Strategy b. Issues/Challenges that would be faced by the company in implementing the same 6. Define KPIs for KM Strategy implementation (using technology score card); steps involved will be a. Find business goals b. Define business metrics c. Determine which biz goals will be addressed by KM d. For KM function, define functional goals and functional metrics e. Definitely write about critical success factors. 7.
