StraightLine in line with the street

A city needs light, not luminaires. Architects, urban planners, local authorities they all need to provide the required lighting levels to ensure
safety and well-being, but without cluttering the pavements and squares.
The LEDGINE based StraightLine provides a smart, efficient, future-proof solution which is in line with the street. This makes it less visible,
thereby preserving the character of the local urban environment.
Looking down the street, only vertical lines are visible.

Luminaire creates visual obtrusions.

StraightLine - Product guide

With StraightLine, the luminaire is as discreet as possible.

StraightLine a unique concept with many advantages

With StraightLine, cities no longer have to compromise between performance and discretion: now they can have a
luminaire that is high in performance, flexible in application and fully in harmony with the urban landscape.

Luminaire in line with the street

Thanks to its slim design, perfectly integrated
with the column, StraightLine blends in perfectly
with the urban environment.
People do not see a luminaire; they just see a
column, which if required can easily be hidden
by trees.

Tiltable optic
StraightLine directs light exactly where it is
needed, with a precision adjustment of +/-5
on each side of the luminaire.

-5

Asymmetrical light distribution (standard)

Symmetrical light distribution (on request)

+5

Each side of the luminaire is independently tiltable by up

to +/- 5.

Lighting quality and energy savings

StraightLine is built around Philips LEDGINE,
so it offers all the advantages of this flexible,
energy efficient and upgradeable LED
platform.

StraightLine

StraightLine - opens opportunities

StraightLine is perfectly adapted to illuminate public spaces in cities such as foot and cycle paths, urban and residential
streets, car parks, and squares. Thanks to the wide range of LEDGINE optics, StraightLine offers attractive solutions
for mounting heights of between 4 m and 6 m. The multilayer concept ensures uniformity and comfort throughout the
lifetime of the product.
Light distribution
Whichever optic is used, light can be directed on one or both sides of the luminaire. This means that the luminaire can be located at the side of
the road (asymmetrical distribution) or centrally on the road (symmetrical distribution).

Asymmetrical light distribution (standard)

The beams of the LEDGINE can be directed to one side of the luminaire, resulting in an asymmetrical light distribution.

Symmetrical light distribution (on request)

Alternatively, the beams of the LEDGINE can be directed towards both sides of the luminaire, resulting in a symmetrical light distribution.

Tiltable optic

Asymmetrical light distribution (standard)

Each side of the luminaire is tiltable by up to +/- 5. This enhances application flexibility and enables full illumination of wider roads or
compensation for larger overhangs.

Symmetrical light distribution (on request)

As shown in the diagram, the tilt of each side of the luminaire enables full illumination of lanes of different width.
