BASIC RUBBER PROPERTIES

Nitrile (Buna-N)
This is the most common compound that is used; it has excellent resistance to petroleum
products and fuels. The temperature range of Nitrile is -35F - 250F, short durations slightly
higher. Nitrile compounds have excellent resistance to compression set or cold flow, tear and
abrasion. They do not possess good resistance to ozone, sunlight or weathering; however, it
can be enhanced with additives.
Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPR, EPDM)
Excellent general-purpose temperature range (-65F to 350F) elastomer with superior
resistance to water, steam, alcohol, engine coolants, sunlight and weathering.
Not
recommended for use with petroleum oils or fuels. Although the rubber experts do not
recommend EPDM for use with petroleum oils or fuels, we have experienced great success
throughout the oilfields in steaming applications. We have had great success in fields in Kern
County and Indonesia with temperatures up to 450F, when used in a steam only application.
HNBR
Hydrogenated Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (HNBR), also known as Highly Saturated Nitrile
(HSN), is a special class of Nitrile rubber - Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR) that has been
hydrogenated to increase saturation of the butadiene segment of the carbon polymer
backbone. Subsequent improvements to the material properties over that of an NBR include
greater thermal stability, broader chemical resistance, and greater tensile strength.
Temperatures up to 325F.
Viton
Compounds of Viton are rated at 400F with short durations up to 450F. Viton is generally
serviceable down to -18F to -23F. Viton has excellent resistance to oils, fuels, lubricants,
and most mineral acids. It has extremely low permeability to a broad range of substances. It
is resistant to aliphatic, aromatic hydrocarbons. It is extremely resistant to compression set,
even at high temperatures. It has exceptional good resistance to atmospheric oxidation,
sun, weather, fungus and mold. It has good electrical properties in low voltage, low frequency
applications and low burning characteristics.
Aflas
Tetrafluoroethylene (TFE) and propylene (P) - TFE/P or AFLAS compounds have almost
universal resistance to acids and bases, steam, acid gases, crude oil and many types of
corrosion inhibitors. TFE's can withstand temperatures from -10F to -450F with brief
exposure slightly higher. Aflas can be formulated for additional steam resistance.
Notes:
Temperatures and ratings above have been gathered from our technical personnel or general information
from individual elastomer manufacturers. The statements and technical information are typically
determined by testing in a controlled environment and/or by field experience. Specific downhole conditions
may or may not affect these temperature ratings as stated.

OPEN HOLE CENTRALIZER

The Tryton Open Hole Centralizer is mainly used with Tryton

Open Hole Packers, generally as part of the Tryton Multi-Stage
Frac System. The Centralizer helps to protect the packers from
damage during equipment installation in the open hole section of
the well bore as well as helping to centralize the packers during
the setting procedure. The Centralizer freely swivels to allow for
rotation when running in the hole if required and has spiralled
grooves to ensure good circulation.

RSB-1 LINER HANGER/PACKER

The Tryton RSB-1 Liner Hanger/Packer is designed to be ran in applications where short
to long liner tailpipe assemblies are required. All load bearing parts are designed to
withstand large tension loads which makes it ideal for both vertical and horizontal
applications whereby the liner system is to be anchored in place. The bi-directional slip
system prevents both upward and downward movement after the tool is set. The RSB-1
does not rely on setting string weight or tension as it is set completely with differential
hydraulic pressure.
The RSB-1 has both an upper seal bore in order to maximize the ID through the connected
tubing string.
The RSB-1 is hydraulically set using the RSB Hydraulic Setting Tool and has a field
adjustable shear release.

RSB HYDRAULIC SETTING TOOL

The Tryton RSB Hydraulic Setting Tool was designed to set the RSB-1 Liner Hanger Packer
either by itself or in conjunction with other equipment such as Tryton's horizontal Multi-Stage
Frac system. In addition to the RSB-1 Liner Hanger Packer, the RSB Setting Tool can be
customized to set any Seal Bore Packer
When ran without a lower plugging device in the tailpipe a large internal by-pass allows fluid
to enter the work string eliminating the need to fill the work string while running in the hole. If
there is tailpipe assembly such as the Multi-Stage Frac system with some type of float shoe
or other type of plugging device in place then it may be necessary to fill while running in the
hole.
Once on depth, field adjustable differential pressure is applied activating a hydraulic
chamber stroking the RSB Setting Tool against the RSB-1 Liner Hanger Packer which
engages the slips and energizes the elements. There is a secondary ball seat within the
setting tool if required.
Once the RSB-1 Liner Hanger Packer is set and tested the RSB setting tool is released with a
combination of right hand rotation while holding tension. Ports between seals ensures
drainage while tripping.

ANCHORPAC / ISOPAC PACKERS

The Tryton AnchorPac and the IsoPac packers are designed to be run in either
cased or open hole applications in vertical or horizontal wells. The AnchorPac can
be ran as a single zone application packer or ran in conjunction with several
packers in a multiple zone completion. The AnchorPac Packer incorporates a
one piece bi-directional slip system in order to help prevent movement during
higher pressure operations whereby the IsoPac Packer is a non-anchoring
packer. Typically, on multiple zone horizontal open hole applications the
AnchorPac would be used as the toe packer and/or the liner hanger packer.
Durable construction and reliability makes the IsoPac Packer and the AnchorPac
excellent alternatives to using inflatable packers.
The AnchorPac and the IsoPac are hydraulically set with an internal locking
mechanism providing a positive and reliable long term set. The setting pressure
can be field adjusted with readily accessible setting shear screws. Both packers
have a straight pull shear release which can also be readily adjusted in the field.

FB/CFB HYDROPORT FRAC SLEEVE

The Tryton FB/CFB HydroPort Frac Sleeves are designed for use when selectively
stimulating multiple zones in either open or cased hole applications. The HydroPort
can be used in either horizontal or vertical wells and is usually the first valve ran in
the well accompanied by multiple IsoPort Frac Sleeves. The HydroPort Frac Sleeve
is hydraulically opened and an internal locking mechanism ensures the open
position is securely maintained.
The HydroPort Frac Sleeve is activated by field adjustable differential pressure
from inside the sleeve across the actuation ports either by a plugging device below,
usually being the ball seat circulating sub, or by isolating the sleeve with the Frac
Diverter Cup Tool.
Both the FB and CFB Frac Sleeves can be cemented in the hole and will reliably
function as they have an isolated internal shifting mechanism. Once open, the
sleeves have an internal locking mechanism to ensure the open position is securely
maintained. The CFB has external fins across the frac ports to minimize the
cement thickness between the sleeve and the formation.

ISOPORT FRAC SLEEVE

The Tryton IsoPort Frac Sleeve is designed for selectively stimulating
multiple zones in either open or cased hole applications. The IsoPort can
be used in either vertical or horizontal wells usually in conjunction with the
HydroPort Frac Sleeve and IsoPac/AnchorPac Packers. The IsoPort
Frac Sleeve is activated by circulating a ball into a drillable seat inside the
tool. Applied differential pressure from above the ball seat shifts the
internal piston downward opening up the frac ports. The IsoPort has an
internal locking mechanism keeping the piston locked securely into place
after it has been shifted. The standard IsoPort piston is made out of a

MULTI - PORT FRAC SLEEVE

Tryton's Multi-Port Frac Sleeve is a ball drop activated frac valve specially
designed to generate more fracs in less time in a wellbore by using a
single ball to shift open multiple frac sleeves thereby allowing for pin point
stimulation. The Multi-Port valves are installed either as part of an open
hole packer liner system or can be cemented in with the liner. Once the
system has been designed and ran, one ball will shift open all valves in
the same stage prior to landing in a fixed ball seat at the bottom of the
stage. Up to 20 sleeves can be opened with a single ball and the seats
are easily millable for future well intervention.

BALL SEAT CIRCULATING SUB

The Tryton Ball Seat Circulating Sub is designed to be a reliable
closeable circulation port generally ran at the bottom of a tool string
in either cased or open hole for vertical or horizontal well
completions. Once the tool string is in place and the required
circulation operation is complete a ball is circulated onto the seat,
an adjustable pre-determined pressure is applied and an internal
sleeve shifts downwards which closes the internal circulating
ports. Once the sleeve has been shifted a positive locking
mechanism ensures it is securely maintained in place.
Standard ball sizes are 0.75" (19.05mm) and 1.00" (25.40mm) but
can be customized if required.

VIKING FRAC SLEEVE/ACTUATION TOOL

The Tryton Viking Frac Sleeve is designed for selectively stimulating
multiple zones in either vertical or horizontal wells. The Viking Frac
Sleeve can either be ran in conjunction with Tryton open hole packers
or be cemented in the well bore. As many sleeves as required can be
ran and each sleeve opens independently utilizing the Tryton Viking
Actuation Tool on coil tubing. Using the Viking system, the frac can
be pumped down the ID of the coil or the coil annulus.
The Tryton Viking Actuation Tool utilizes a continuous J-slot to
activate the locator keys for positive locating and anchoring into each
sleeve. Each sleeve is independently opened upon reaching a

BDR COIL FRAC STIMULATION TOOL

The Tryton BDR Coil Frac Stimulation Tool allows operators to stimulate coal
bed methane formations via extreme overbalance. The surge of Nitrogen
extends through the existing well bore damage without harming the
formation.
The assembly is run to depth on coil tubing, isolating selected perf intervals to
be stimulated (shocked) with Nitrogen. Composite drop balls are deployed
from surface and seal in a seat in the BDR. At a preset pressure of 30 mpa the
ball is forced through the seal and nitrogen is released into the formation. The
BDR can then be moved to straddle the next interval and the process is
repeated. The design optimizes the amount of Nitrogen required and allows
access to maximum perforations in a single trip.

TD-1 TENSION PACKER

The Tryton TD-1 Tension Packer is a compact, economical, retrievable
packer. Primarily used in water flood applications, this packer can also
be used for production and/or lower-medium pressure treating
operations. It is used where a set-down packer is impractical. Since the
TD-1 is tension set, it is ideally suited for shallow wells where set-down
weight is not available.

TS-4 DOUBLE GRIP COMPRESSION PACKER

The Tryton TS-4 Double Grip Compression Set Packer is used for
production, stimulation and testing. The mechanical upper hold down
system reduces the cost and maintenance of a button type hydraulic hold
down system. The TS-4 is equipped with a running bypass that reduces
swabbing. Set down weight closes the bypass valve, sets the upper/lower
slips and energizes the packing elements. The closed bypass valve
activates the pressure balanced hold down system. Internal pressure from
below the elements aids in holding the bypass valve closed and preventing
upward movement of the tubing string.
To set, run the tool to setting depth, pick up tubing and rotate to the right
turn at the packer. Tubing weight is applied, which sets the lower slips,
closes the bypass valve and expands the packing elements.
To release, raise the tubing, which first opens the bypass valve, then
releases the slips and packing elements.

HYDRO-CT PACKER
The Tryton Hydro-CT Packer can be ran either on jointed pipe utilizing a
conventional rig or rigless application using coil tubing. The Hydro-CT can be
ran alone or in tandem for testing, production, water shut-off or zonal isolation in
either vertical or horizontal wells. The Hydro-CT is hydraulically set with an
internal locking mechanism providing a positive and reliable long-term pack-off.
Both durable construction and compact size makes the Hydro-CT Packer an
excellent alternative to conventional hydraulic packers in shallower wells.
The Hydro-CT is released by dropping a ball onto an internal seat then pressure
above causes the releasing pins to shear and the packer to release.

TI-1 INFLATABLE SINGLE SET PACKER

The Tryton TI-1 Inflatable Single Set Packer is normally used in open hole for
isolating zones or in casing whereby a restriction needs to be passed through
and can be used for testing, treating, production or injection. The TI-1 is a
hydraulically set single use packer that may be used in both vertical or
horizontal wells.
After the TI-1 is set an internal locking sleeve maintains inflation. The packer
comes in both rotational or straight pull release.
The TI-1 packer element incorporates high strength cable to provide good
expansion characteristics in washed out or irregular well bores, as well as to
provide high differential pressure capabilities. After the packer is released, the
elements are designed to return very close to the original run-in diameter. The
elements are less likely to lose rubber down hole because superior bonding
occurs between the rubber and cable rather than just rubber alone.

casing. The tool is re-settable and may be used for testing, treating, production, or
stimulation of several zones with each trip into the well. The TI-2 incorporates a
durable rugged design for reliable multiple sets in the same trip.
The TI-2 Packer may be used in vertical, deviated or horizontal wells. No rotation is
required to set the packer, however right-hand rotation is required to unset the packer.
Once the TI-2 is released it can be moved and re-set by dropping a dart into a seat
whereby the element can be re-inflated. The dart is then be pumped through to a
catcher and the procedure can be repeated.

HYDRO-GRIP HYDRAULIC SET PACKERS

The Tryton Hydro-Grip II and Hydro-Grip III hydraulic set packers are single string
pressure activated double grip production packers used in single or multi zone
completions. The Hydro-Grip Packers are ideally suited for applications where it
is desired to set the packer(s) after the well is flanged up or for multiple zone
completions. The Hydro-Grip Packers incorporates a pressure balance system
which helps compensate for pressure differentials across the packer.
In addition to having a 2 element cup type system instead of the 3 element
conventional system as is on the Hydro-Grip III, the Hydro-Grip II is a more
compact packer.

TD2 DUAL STRING PRODUCTION PACKER

The TD2 Dual String Packer is a hydraulic set, mechanically held dual string
production packer run above a single string hydraulic set or wireline set seal
bore packer. Its short length makes it ideal for deviated wells or doglegs.
Because no tubing manipulation is required to set this packer, the well head can
be installed and flanged up before setting. It is available with short string or long
string setting capabilities and a variety of tubing connections. It is also adaptable
for submersible pump applications. The TD2 features a sequential upper slip
release system designed to release each slip individually reducing the pull
required to release the packer. Due to the angles on the upper slips and upper
slip cage, slips release smoothly from the casing.

PERMAPAC LATCH SEAL ASSEMBLIES

The Tryton PermaPac Latch Seal Assemblies are used
for applications in which it is desirable to land the tubing
in tension, compression or neutral or where an on/off
connector, PBR or other similar device may be used.
The seal assembly is latched into the packer with set
down weight and released with right-hand rotation while
holding tension in the string.
For use with all models of seal bore packers and typically
comes with a bottom lead in sub.

RYTON, VITON, CHEMRAZ, KALREZ AND TEFLON

PERMAPAC LOCATOR SEAL ASSEMBLIES

The Tryton PermaPac Locator Seal Assemblies are used
for applications in which seal movement is necessary
due to tubing contraction or in multiple packer
applications. The locator seal assemblies may be
combined with spacer seal units, spacer tubes, seal units
and barrier seals to make up a longer seal assembly if
required for use with a seal bore extension, a PBR or a
retrievable seal bore packer.

comes with a bottom lead in sub.

Tryton
People. Products. Performance.

PERMAPAC SEAL UNITS

PermaPac Seal Units are designed so that the combination of seal units
with spacer tubes and debris barriers are utilized as required in a seal
bore completion design in order to ensure seal integrity is not
compromised.
The Seals can either be bonded or 'vee' seal design and are available in
various materials.

PERMAPAC SEAL SPACER TUBE

PermaPac Seal Spacer Tubes are used to lengthen seal assemblies if
required. Spacer tubes are available in various lengths and are
available for all seal assembly sizes.

PERMAPAC SEAL BORE EXTENSION

PermaPac Seal Bore Extensions are used to provide sufficient seal
bore length so long seal assemblies may be used to accommodate
tubing movement. Seal bore extensions are available for all sizes of
PermaPac packers.
Seal Bore Extensions standard lengths are 1.5 m (5 ft) and 3 m (10 ft)
lengths. Other lengths may be available if required.

PERMAPAC TUBING ADAPTERS/CONCENTRIC COUPLINGS

PermaPac Tubing Adapters are used to allow the connection of tailpipe
directly to the bottom of the packer or seal bore extension. Tubing
adapters are available for all seal assemblies and compatible tubing
connections.
PermaPac Concentric Couplings are used to join to compatible sized
seal bores to ensure proper alignment when running the seal assembly.
The Concentric Coupling is available for all seal bore sizes.

Tryton

RSB/RSB-1 RETRIEVABLE SEAL BORE PACKER

The RSB/RSB-1 Retrievable Seal Bore packer incorporates the large bore benefits of a
seal bore packer with the option of retrievability. The RSB/RSB-1 can be ran for virtually
all applications and can be used in applications whereby liner tailpipe assemblies are
required. All load bearing parts are designed to withstand large tension loads which
makes it ideal for both vertical and horizontal applications whereby a liner system is to
be anchored in place. The bi-directional slip system prevents both upward and
downward movement after the tool is set. The RSB/RSB-1 does not rely on setting
string weight or tension on it as it is set completely with differential hydraulic pressure or
with a wireline setting tool.
The RSB-1 has both a lower and upper seal bore in order to maximize the ID through the
connected tubing string.
The RSB/RSB-1 Packer is generally ran on the RSB hydraulic setting tool but can be
set on wireline if required. The packer is set hydraulically by applying a field adjustable
pre-determined tubing differential pressure against a plugging device below the tool
such as a pump-out plug, a wireline plug or dropping/circulating a ball from surface to a
ball seat sub with in the setting tool.
Once set, the RSB/RSB-1 has an internal locking mechanism to ensure the setting tool
remains set until it is desired to be released. The RSB Packer has a straight pull field
adjustable shear release.
The RSB/RSB-1 packers utilize Tryton PermaPac seal bore accessories to make the
tubing seal as well as other options.

TL ON/OFF TOOL
The Tryton TL On/Off Tool Overshot is the disconnect/connect portion of the tool. The TL
Overshot is connected to the tubing string and disconnects from the TL Slick Joint which
is connected to the tool string below. The standard overshot incorporates 2 - 4 bonded
seals to ensure a reliable seal even after numerous disconnects/connects. These seals
can be made out of various materials to ensure compatibility in almost any environment.
The TL On/Off Tool is normally a left hand 1/4 turn at the tool disconnect with an auto-J
on. However, a right hand disconnect option is available
The TL On/Off Tool Slick Joint connects to a double grip packer or packer system that
does not require tension or compression to maintain a pack-off. The slick joint normally
has a landing profile machined into it to serve as a receptacle for various flow control
devices.
The TL Overshot / Slick Joint is available in a wide range of materials and both 42 Mpa
(6000psi ) and 70 Mpa (10,000psi) differential pressure rating.
The TXL On/Off Tool incorporates an extended seal surface to allow for greater versatility

TX/TXN & TOR/TORN LANDING NIPPLES

The Tryton TX/TXN and TOR/TORN Landing Nipples are utilized in the completion string to
allow for the positive location of numerous subsurface flow control devices such as blanking
plugs, bottom hole chokes, downhole recorders, etc.
The TX/TXN and TOR/TORN locking profiles allow for full selectivity in running flow control
devices in completion strings where numerous profile nipples may be required. The TX and
TOR profiles do not have a No-Go ring machined in the bottom of the nipple where as the TXN
and TORN do. Typically the No-Go nipple is the bottom profile in the string. Generally the
TOR/TORN profile nipples are used in higher pressure applications or those where smaller
nipple sizes are required.

TXA/TXO/TNP SLIDING SLEEVES

The Tryton TXA/TXO/TNP Sliding Sleeves are full opening devices that are
an integral part of the completion string, incorporating an inner shiftable
sleeve which can be opened or closed using standard wireline/coil tubing
deployed equipment and methods. All of the sleeves are designed such that
the circulation/flow area is at least equal to the tubing size it is designed for.
The standard sleeves incorporate the proven vee seal design and can be
varied to suit the environment and/or the application it is to be used in.
The TXA and TXO both have landing profiles machined into the upper
portion of the sleeve whereby the TNP does not.
The TXA and TNP shift upwards to open and the TXO shifts downward to
open. All the sleeves use a standard B shifting tool.
The sleeves are designed so that normal wireline, coil or other operations
will not open or close the sleeves inadvertently. Equalizing ports in the inner
sleeve allows for equalizing when shifting the sleeve open in high pressure
differential applications.

BLAST JOINTS
Blast Joints are used to protect the tubing string from the abrasive action of
flowing gas or oil when positioned opposite the perforations. Blast Joint may also
be used directly below the well head to protect from the abrasion of doing a
hydraulic fracturing operation down the annulus.
Blast Joints are made from high quality steel treated to between 28 & 36 RC
hardness to insure maximum abrasion resistance and strength. For H2S service,
blast joints are heat treated to between 18 & 22 RC hardness as per N.A.C.E.
specification MR-0175. Other materials are available on advance order if
required.
Full tubing I.D. is maintained through the blast joint with the O.D. the same as
tubing couplings. As standard, blast joints have API EUE tubing connections, but
can be cut with virtually any thread connection required.

TR BY-PASS VALVE

The Tryton TR By-Pass Valve is a rotational circulating valve

generally used with selective treating tools. This valve opens or
closes off communication between the tubing and the annulus.
The valve is used to bypass tubing fluid when running or retrieving
selective tools, and if required can also be used for circulation of
fluids.
The TR By-Pass Valve features a pressure balanced sleeve
design which allows for easy operation of the valve under higher
differential pressures. Specially designed chemical and wear
resistant seals ensure reliable and trouble free operation.
Exclusive to this valve are the thrust bearings which allow for easy
operation under tension or compression loads.
The TR By-Pass Valve is opened by rotating 3 turns to the right
and closed by rotating 3 turns to the left.

STA CUP TYPE SELECTIVE TREATING ASSEMBLY

The Tryton STA cup type selective treating assembly is designed to selectively
predetermined perforated intervals. The STA will isolate intervals from 0.3m(12in.)
to any length by the addition of standard tubing pups joints, A large built-in annular
bypass, make the STA easy to run and retrieve. The STA utilizes a simple design
with heavy duty cups for reliable, proven operation.
The STA assembly is normally ran into the well with a circulating valve open to a
position just above the perforated interval to be stimulated. The circulation valve is
closed to pressure test the STA's complete assembly. Opening the circulation
valve will equalize the tubing to annulus. The STA tool can now be moved to the
desired interval to be treated. Then, after the stimulation fluid is circulated down
and the valve is closed, the treatment can be performed.
Accessories with the STA could include a fluid control valve, a test packer, a
retrievable bridge plug and a mechanical collar locator to customize desired
operation.

TNS/TNT COMPRESSION PACKER

The Tryton TNS(10K)/TNT(15K) Compression Packers are used

for high pressure fracturing, acidizing, squeeze cementing and
testing. These packers have an integral bypass system that
allows circulation around the packer without releasing the tool.
The TNS/TNT Packers are generally used with the TNC
Unloader/Circulating valve assembly which functions as a
bypass, circulating, and equalizing valve.
The TNS/TNT packers operate with a combination right hand
rotation in conjunction with compression to set and achieve pack
off. Straight pick-up is all that is required to release these
packers.

TSU-RBP RETRIEVABLE BRIDGE PLUG

The Tryton TSU-RBP is a high performance retrievable bridge plug that is designed to
isolate a portion of the well primarily for treating, testing or isolating for safety reasons.
The TSU-RBP can be ran alone or in conjunction with another packer depending upon
what objectives are required.
The TSU-RBP can be set mechanically, hydraulically or on wireline. As per the design
of the tool, it can be set shallow or deep. The tool is designed to allow for pressure
equalization before the slips are released making it ideal in conditions whereby,
pressure below may be uncertain.

T5/T10/T20 HYDRAULIC SETTING TOOL

The Tryton T5/T10/T20 Hydraulic Setting Tools are designed to be run on drill
pipe, tubing, or coil tubing. Pressure is transmitted to the setting tool in order
to set bridge plugs, cement retainers, production packers, and service tools
which would normally be set on wireline. Hydraulically setting equipment is
especially applicable to setting plugs or packers in deviated wells or on
locations where a wireline unit is not available or practical.
The T5/T10/T20 setting tools can have setting chambers added or removed
depending upon pressure or force requirements.

RCP CASING PATCH

The RCP Retrievable Casing Patch is designed to straddle damaged areas

and/or undesired zones in the casing. The large bore design of the RCP allows
for larger tubing string sizes if required. The system can be incorporated with a
disconnect on the upper section allowing for the assembly to be installed with a
work string, which once set, can be removed and the production string ran in
place. The patch length can be virtually any length as required.
The RCP Retrievable Casing Patch can be set mechanically or hydraulically and
is released simply by engaging a spear into the I.D. of the tool and jarring up.

TSB PUMP TUBING BAILER

The Tryton TSB Pump Tubing Bailer is a fast and efficient way to
clean out sand or other fill from a well. It is an efficient mechanical
pump capable of removing large volumes of fill in a single run. The
TSB Pump Tubing Bailer does not depend on hydrostatic
differential pressure in order to operate and is effective in low fluid
wells.
The debris chamber is adjustable to accommodate any amount of
sand or fill to be retrieved. The bailer assembly is designed with
circulating drain ports eliminating the pulling of wet strings.
An optional hard faced drilling washover shoe on bottom of
assembly allows rotation through compacted sand if required.
The TSB Pump Bailer Assembly is made up on the tubing string with
the required amount of chamber between the pump assembly and
the valve assembly.

CYCLONE VENTURI SYSTEM

The Tryton Cyclone Venturi System is used to remove sand, pyrite, oil, water,
mud or any other foreign debris from the formation to better increase
production. To operate, the Cyclone Venturi is connected to the production
tubing and then lowered into the wellbore so that the 'ER' Cup Packer is spaced
out above the formation.
An air/foam/water/nitrogen mixture is injected down the annulus against the
cups of the ER Packer passing through a series of angled orifices within the
Cyclone Venturi then through the Venturi throat and up to the surface through
the interior of the production tubing along with wellbore effluent. The wellbore
effluent is drawn up by the vacuum created within the centre of the Venturi
whereby it is co-mingled with the injection mixture and drawn to the surface
through the tubing.
The ER Cup Packer is situated below the Cyclone Venturi to ensure the
injection mixture, which is under pressure, never reaches the hydrocarbon
formation and eliminates fluid losses in low fluid level wells.

PST SAFE TENSION TOOL

The PST was designed to safely set tubing anchors and other down hole tools
in tension under live well conditions and maintain full bore through the tubing
string.
Installed between the tubing hanger and the production tubing, the PST allows
for full left or right rotation of the tubing. This provides for the ability to pull
tension into the tubing string and lock it safely into position, all with the tubing
hanger landed and locked into place, keeping complete well control.

SGS GAS SEPARATOR

The Tryton SGS Gas Separator is designed as a continuous flow
downhole gas separator to be used in conjunction with Progressive
Cavity Pumps. Utilizing centrifugal forces to separate the gas from
the liquids before they enter the pump allows for the liquids to be
carried through into the pump suction while the separated gases
migrate up the annulus. The SGS Gas Separator has greater
liquid/gas capacities and are generally more efficient than other
down hole gas separators.
The SGS is ran just below the pump and is ideal for wells operating at
low efficiency due to poor gas separation down hole. Separation of
gas from the liquids will generally increase well efficiency and extend
the life of the PC Pump.
