Then the End Shall Come

Review the central truth, the memory verse, prayer and confessions,
and read the Bible Story with scripture references indicated under the
power outlets. As this is done each day, let your child color in or put a
sticker on the power outlet located on the back of the devotional. At
the end of the week please sign as proof of completion and return to the
teacher. Children who complete 3 weeks Power Cords in a month will
have their picture posted in the foyer of Power Source and their name in
the newsletter.

Father God,
Thank you for loving me and taking care of me. Bless my church, Pastor Ron,
and his family. Bless my teachers for teaching me Your Word. I believe your love
is flowing through me to other people. Help me to obey my parents so things
will go well with me and I will live a long life on the earth. I will tell how great
you are and how much I love you. I thank You that by Jesus stripes I am healed.

The end will not come until this gospel has been preached in all
the world.

Matthew 24:14, And this gospel of the kingdom will be

preached in all the worldand then the end will come.

When we think about all the bad things happening in the world with
Christians in it, its hard to imagine what it will be like when all the
Christians are taken out of the world. That is what is going to happen
one day, though. No one knows the day or the hour. Jesus might come
at any time. We hold the key to Jesus coming back. He is just waiting
for one really big thing to happen first. He doesnt want any- one to get
left behind, and He has given us the job to reach people and tell them
they need to be saved. But Jesus is coming back no matter what. He is
giving us as much time as He can to reach every person on earth. Then
the Bible says that one day when we are not expecting it, Michael, the
captain of the angels, will blow a trumpet in Heaven. When we hear the
trumpet, the Bible says that we should look up to the sky because our
redemption is coming. Our redeemer, the only One with the power to
wash away the sins of the world will return to the earth. He is coming
to gather up all the Christians, dead and alive, and take them to heaven
to eternity. Jesus will be coming in the clouds of glory. What a day that
is going to be! It is very important that we tell as many people about
Jesus as we can so they have a chance to accept Him. Lets take as many
people as possible with us when Jesus returns on that day.
