WELCOME TO PEACE WITH CHRIST

LUTHERAN CHURCH!

We give thanks to God that you are joining us today!

Many of our guests are seeking a home church where they
can be part of the Fellowship of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
Peace with Christ is a congregation that is a family not an
“organization”. We are small enough to allow people to
know each other by name, and yet large enough to offer
opportunities for growth and service. What we “specialize”
in is not programs or productions, but simply The Gospel
of Our Lord Jesus. Christ, His Word, and the Cross are
what provide the foundation for faith and ministry. If you
are interested in learning more about Peace With Christ
Lutheran Church, please call the church office at 226-4721.
Pastor Patrick would welcome the opportunity to visit with
you personally.
2
THE TIME before the service may be used for prayer and
preparation. Read through the worship bulletin and familiarize
yourself with the service. A few moments spent this way will help
make the service more meaningful.

NEXT WEEK’S LUTHERAN HOUR MESSAGE:

“The Sinning Hypocrite” Speaker: Dr. Rev. Ken
Klaus. The world looks at the Church and sees the
hypocrisy of Christians who preach one thing but do another. Do
they also see the Savior whose blood forgives hypocrites and other
sinners? (Romans 6:1-2) Listen to The Lutheran Hour Message on
KOA, Denver (AM850) at 6:00 a.m. and KFKA, Greeley (AM1310) at
9:30 a.m.

Peace With Christ Radio Broadcast: KCOL (600AM), at 9:00 AM

Sundays.

Hong Kong – Jan. 1-15

The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod began work in
Hong Kong in 1949, shortly after the formation of the
Peoples Republic of China. In 1976, The Lutheran
Church—Hong Kong Synod (LCHKS) officially became
an LCMS partner church.

Sunday: For missionaries Rev. Carl Hanson and Chen-His Han-

son and their family, as Carl tries to find new ways to partner
with local churches and schools creating a link for Asian Lu-
theran mission outreach in East Asia.

Monday: For Michelle Hoeppner Cagnin and family, as she

serves as the functional facilitator for human care work in Asia
and as the executive director of the Concordia Welfare and Edu-

CWEF works to alleviate poverty through education and service.

Tuesday: For missionary Rev. Greg Sawyer and his family, as

Kong. He develops and implements ways for Lutheran churches
in Asia to be involved in more intentional outreach in the expatri-
ate and local community.

who serve throughout Asia. Joel is a strategic mission developer
who trains local church leaders for service and Iantha is director

their family as they support the mission team in Asia. Ed serves
as the regional business manager.

Friday: For the ministry of Church of All Nations in Hong

tinued outreach in the Hong Kong community and beyond.

Saturday: For GEO missionary Megan Kincaid, who is serving

as a communication specialist for Asia, based out of Hong Kong.
Pray that God would use Megan to clearly communicate the joys,
