Bokor PMT.
• Chiguetti Methanol Leak determined to be subsea ; Preparation is being made for
intervention to repair.
• 4 out of 11 PETRONAS Subsea Technical Manuals Rev. A1 have been submitted by OPR for
review

1.2.1 SUBSEA SYSTEM ( Pak Farid/Pak Awal/Farah/Suhaira)

• Support Kanowit Subsea of Kumang Cluster development project.

 Continue with flow assurance study for pre-detail engineering of

Kanowit Subsea Development i.e frequency of pigging result.
Currently 75% completed.
 Review the Optimization system engineering study proposed by Aker
 Review of Kanowit process safe guarding system (i.e. SIL-1 OPPS
installed at Xmas tree)
 Review the piping system design proposed by contractor (i.e. API 5000
system vs. ANSI 2500 system)
 Review Drawings (i.e. P&ID) and subsea hardware design basis (i.e.
12” jumpers)

• Support the flow assurance analysis for Mauritania Banda Gas Development in
terms of reservoir fluid analysis and Subsea Compressor Study
• Continue with preparation of “Guideline of Feasibility Study for Subsea
Development”. Issuance for interdisciplinary review is planned end September.
Current stage is 8% progress.
• Review of “In-Progress” Subsea Field Development Benchmark of Technology
Project
• Support M4-Reactivation Project in terms of existing subsea wells activation
cost verification.
• Support JV – Block 16/19 Mozambique Field Development Study. Review the
field development options proposed by partner (Sasol Petroleum International)

Diligence study of Shell’s Cold Flow Technology. The due-diligence will be
conducted in Huston & Wyoming on 9th-14 November 2009.
• Conducted a discussion with FMC Technology & Cameron on Mudline Xmas
Tree design on 29th October 2009.

• Support in identifying the offshore installation requirement for the subsea
equipment on topside KAKG-A (Kanowit Project).
• Ongoing Umbilical Study/Handbook preparation on Introduction to Dynamic
Analysis Umbilical Study and Subsea Umbilical Manufacturing Process of Steel
Tube. 50% progress.
• Ongoing Intervention database preparation. 10% progress
• Ongoing Intervention handbook preparation on “Well and Equipment
Intervention”. 10% progress.
 • Chinguetti Methanol Leak determined to be subsea; Preparation is being made

submitted by OPR for review.
• OPR continue with writing, improving and incorporating PCSB comments in the
manual.
• Meeting with OPR Lead Consultant for PSTM 7-Installation & Vessel
Requirement on 26 October 2009.

• PCSB’s management approval was received on 18th September

2009.Agreement with JIP’s coordinator currently being vetted through.
• Change code has been received on 12th October 2009 from TMU.

KANOWIT SUBSEA DEVELOPMENT PROJECT (KUMANG CLUSTER)
(Amizal/Radzlan/Azlan/Farah/Sue/Faizal/Fikri H)

2.1.1 PROGRESS STATUS/ PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

• Ongoing Flow Assurance study on frequency of pigging requirement during
operation. 78% completed.
• Ongoing study on availability of service provision for new technology
qualification, received proposal on Qualification Basis & Technology
Assessment from DNV. Due to Aker Solution’s preference on API 17N, thus
Kanowit will not be using DNV for the Qualification Basis & Technology
Assessment.
• Evaluation of WGFM in progress, pending contract to be awarded by Aker.
• Attended Petronas Project Management System (PPMS) Training by DPR on
2nd October 2009 at Citibank Tower.
• A follow up meeting to be arranged with ASM based on feedback from PCSB
CTE to conclude the issue of scope of work.
• Follow up the feedback of the scope of work discussion with Aker is in
progress.

2.1 CHINGUETTI DEVELOPMENT PROJECT

2.1.1 ACTIVITIES HIGHLIGHTS(Razali)

• PCM1 Workover Subsea Equipments are currently stored (temporarily) in the

SBS yard at Edzell, Aberdeen. Preparation of ITB Document is on-going.
Currently at the final stage of review. Plan to issue ITB in two weeks time
• Supported upcoming Chinguetti Intervention activities, to take place in middle
October involving Sliding sleeve open, SCM Change out jobs, MeOH leak
investigation, hydraulic jumper change out and General Visual Inspection.
• Ongoing activities on Chinguetti Phase 3 feasibility study with prospect of 2
in-fill wells

2.1 BANDA GAS DEVELOPMENT PROJECT

2.2 ACTIVITIES HIGHLIGHTS(Noor Hafiz)

 • Reviewed the draft report of Process System Design Report for Banda Subsea
Wet Gas Compressor System Study
• Basic crude / condensate assay analysis is 80% completed, water analysis is
100% completed, wax analysis is 60% completed and PVT analysis is 100%
completed.
• Reviewed the table of contents for laboratory Report for Banda Mauritania
Fluid Characterization and PVT Analysis.
• All fluid characterization study and PVT analysis are expected to be completed
by end of October 2009

No. 5 ROV Operation for Technology Project 1 (by OPR).

• Continue developing the level 2 & 3 training syllabus for SKG 12.5.
• Incorporating comments from JV partners, into Banda FDP and Tiof & Tevet
Technical Reports, before submission to Mauritania Government

• Plan to issue ITBD for Chinguetti Workover riser and control system Refurbishment
contract in two weeks time.
