DETAILED NOTIFICATION FOR SECOND AND FINAL PHASE OF WEB COUNSELLING

All the registered GATE/GPAT candidates and PGECET qualified and eligible candidates of 2014
are informed to attend PGEC / PGECET Web Counseling for admission into M.E./ M.Tech./ M.Arch./
M.Planning/ M.Pharmacy/Pharm.D (P.B.) courses for the academic year 2014-2015 as per the schedule
given below at any one of the Help Line centers.
Candidates who have already attended for Certificate Verification in First Phase can directly
exercise web options for second Phase.
Candidates are informed that they should satisfy the admission rules prescribed in the related
G.O. besides satisfying the eligibility criteria of the respective universities and should be
prepared to pay the tuition fee as applicable.
The left over seats after allotment for GATE / GPAT Candidates are alone available for
PGECET candidates
This notification itself is an intimation for counseling. No separate call letters are sent to the
individual candidates.
Mere attending counseling does not guarantee a seat.
Candidates have to pay non-refundable processing fee of Rs.300/- (SC/ST) and Rs.600/-(others) at
the time of certificate verification.
Cancellation: candidates who secured admission in the first phase and reported at Help line center
can cancel the admission on or before 22nd November, 2014, at any of the Helpline centers by
submitting following documents:
1. Request letter on plain paper for cancellation of his/her admission mentioning candidates bank
details (Account Number, Bank Name & Branch, IFSC Code), Postal Address and Mobile
number.
2. Allotment letter.
3. Original Fee paid Challan (Candidates copy)
Who should participate in final phase?
a. Who secure a seat in first phase of web based counseling and wish to move to some other college.
b. Candidates who participated in first phase of web based counseling and could not secure a seat.
c. Candidates who did not participate in first phase even though he / she has been called for
counseling.
d. Candidates who were allotted a seat but didnt report / pay the fee.
