As the 2014 holiday season quickly approaches, Brentwood firefighters hope to help
spread a little holiday cheer again this year. Brentwood Fire & Rescue is joining forces
with the United States Marine Corps Reserves to provide drop off points for the Marine
Corps Toys for Tots Program. Each fire station, as well as the Brentwood City Library,
Brentwood City Service Center, and Brentwood City Hall will be collecting new,
unwrapped toys for underprivileged children throughout the Middle Tennessee area.
Collection started the beginning of November and will last through December 23rd.
Chief Brian Goss with Brentwood Fire &
Rescue commented on the program,
This is our sixth year collecting for
the Marine Corps Reserves Toys for
Tots. We hope to continue with the
success we had from years past.
Brentwood Fire & Rescue has collected
close to 6,000 toys over the last five
years with an estimated total value of
almost $60,000.
