Lesson Objectives :
By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:
a) listen to, say aloud and sing the song entitled Meeting You with guidance.
b) talk about a stimulus with guidance.
Activities

1. Teacher asks the pupils about their families and friends.


2. Teacher introduces the song entitled Meeting You on mahjong paper.
3. Teacher demonstrates how to sing the song and pupils follow teacher then.
4. All pupils sing the song together.
5. Teacher shows some pictures about people such as parents, siblings and etc.
6. Pupils talk about what they see in the pictures given.
7. Then, teacher divides pupils into three groups.
8. Under teachers guidance, first group will talk about their families, second
group will talk about their friends and third group will talk about their
neighbours.
9. Teacher sums up the lesson by singing Meeting You together.

Lesson Objectives

By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:


a) recognize, read and articulate single syllable words with the phoneme /i:/(ee).
b) make recognizable words with the phoneme /i:/(ee) and read them aloud.
c) segment single syllable words into phonemes to spell
Activities:
1. Pupils sing aloud the song entitled Meeting You they have learned in the
previous lesson.
2. Teacher shows some keywords with the phoneme /i:/(ee).
3. Teacher segments and spells the keywords then asks the pupils to repeat
after her.
4. Teacher briefly explains about the phoneme /i:/(ee).
5. Teacher emphasizes on the words with the phoneme /i:/(ee) by
demonstrating the correct way to pronounce it.
6. 5 flash cards with the phoneme /i:/(ee) are shown to the pupils and they
read aloud the words together.
7. Teacher chooses pupils randomly to form words with the phoneme /i:/(ee)
by using the letters given then paste them on the blackboard.
8. Teacher checks the answers.
9. Teacher recalls back the lesson.

2. Pupils spell the words in the flash cards together with the teacher and say the
words aloud.
3. Teacher displays written e-mail on mahjong paper and asks pupils to identify the
words with the phoneme /i:/(ee).
4. Pupils attempt to their tasks on TB, pg 35 by using provided answers.
5. Teacher discusses the correct answers.
6. Pupils copy down the exercise on their exercise books.

6. Teacher checks the answers and emphasizes on the pronunciation of those

6. After that, teacher shows and pastes some keywords (classmate, best friend,

4. In group, pupils have to introduce their best friend and draw their best friends
on mahjong paper with guidance.
5. Then, two representatives of each group present their works.
6. Summing up: Pupils perform the action song in group.
