X + be+ comparative + than +Y


Watching TV is more interesting than listening to the radio
X + be + not as + adj + as + Y
Listening to the radiois is not as interesting as Watching TV
To form the comparative of an adj, you should:
Add er if the adj is one syllable long: Large - larger
Add ier if the adj has two syllables and ends in -y: Heavy - heavier
Add more before the adj if it has two or more syllables: Useful -> more useful
Irregular forms of comparative:
Good-better; Bad worse; Fun more fun; Free freer
Adverbs of frequency
Adv after S vs before V: Always/frequently/often/never/almost never/rarely//seldom/hardly
ever
Adv can go before or after S: Usually/normally/sometimes/occasionally(from time to time)
Sometimes I go shopping

Adv can go at the end of a sentence: all the time

Times of day
At + hour + oclock/a.m/p.m+ in the evening/morning

Describe what we do every day or very frequently?
On Sundays, I normally get up fairly early and have a run in the local park before doing anything
else.

Well, usually I wake up around 6 a.m. I always have a cup of coffee while I review my study
notes/take a long time over breakfast.
I hang out vs meet up with my friends (meet sb by appointment) and we gossip a bit about life
at school.

After school/after that, I always go straight home and take a quick shower
I normally lie in bed till the early hours of the morning and watch movies.

Well, I have lots of hobbies I like to do in my spare time/leisure time/free time. Im very

Now I really busy and I dont have the chane to take a break and spend time with my friends
