14.2 Balance

15.3 Lower the telescoping cage

) Lower the telescoping yoke and cyrinder crown to the bottor.n by

level as the cylinder attachment.

4) Tighten the sling but not too much.

5) Check that whether the mast sections are bolted


together with the slewing bearing

cage and the slewing bearing.
7) Release the safety braking devices.

cage safely, no personnel are allowed to remain

on the cage, and using standard access to carry


out the operation.

9) Slacken the wire rope; and the telescoping cage rvill

Note: During operation, balance the lateral forces

nuch as possible, so as to prevent the telescoping
cage lrom getting blocked when

Fitting the power cable

During telescopidg, the cable suspended as Fig. 15.4-1a, after introducing

mast section, the cable suspended as Fig.15.4-lb.
Open the cover ofplatform for the accesses, release the cable and make
it can glide in

the cable grip (c), then introduce it to the opening of access platform
and lock the

Use a clamp to fix the cable in the middle

the cable from damage in all circumstances. One side ofthe suspended
