The minutes of the 61th Executive Committee meeting of ISAR held at Gujrat Convention
Centre, Ahmedabad on 14/02/2014 were read and confirmed.

Item No: 7: Report of the 19th National Congress of Assisted Reproductive Technology
and Advances in Infertility Management held at Ahmedabad from 14th 16th February
2014.
Dr. Kanthi Bansal on behalf of the organizing committe presented the report of the 19th
National Congress of Assisted Reproductive Technology and Advances in Infertility
Management held at Ahmedabad from 14th 16th February 2014. The conference organized
by the President Dr. Manish Banker , Org. Secretary Dr. ________.
Seven precongress workshops were organized. The workshop was attended by 1125
delegates. The main congress was held on 15th and 16th February at ______________. 23
International faculty and about 250 national faculty shared their expertise in the field in
infertility. The conference was attended by 2250 delegates. The entertainment show by
Mallaka Sarabhai and Kunal Ganjawala was a fun for the delegates. A surplus amount of Rs.
25,00,000/- (Twenty five lakhs was) was given to the ISAR office. Dr. Kanthi Bansal thanked
the committee members for their co-operation in making the conference a great success. Dr.
Hrishikesh Pai and Dr. Nandita Palshetkar thanked Dr. Manish Banker, Dr. Kanthi Bansal,
Dr. Nayana Patel , Dr. Nimish Shelat and the organizing team for hosting a very dynamic
conference which was a great academic feast for the delegates.

Item No: 8: Report of the 20th National Congress of Assisted Reproductive

Technololgy and Advances in Infertility Management being held in Chennai 2015.
Dr. Hrishikesh Pai informed that the 20th National Congress of Assisted Reproductive
Technololgy and Advances in Infertility Management would be held in Chennai 2015 at the
Chola Sheraton, Chennai on 10th, 11th and 12th April 2015. The organizing chairperson for
this conference would be Dr. N.Sanjeeva Reddy and the Organizing Secretary as Dr.
Kamala Selvaraj. Dr. Pai hoped that the organizers would host the conference very
efficiently.

Item No: 9: To Invite bidding for the 21st National congress of Assisted Reproductive
Technology and Advances in Infertility Management to be held in central zone in 2016:

There was only one email dated 6th June 2014 received from Dr. Asha Baxi seeking
permission from the ISAR to host the 21st National congress of Assisted Reproductive
Technology and Advances in Infertility Management to be held Madhya Pradesh in 2016.
The executive committee of the ISAR granted permission for the same.
Item No: 10: Discuss regarding Practice Committee Guidelines :
Dr. Nandita Palshetkar informed that, it was planned to have Practice Committee
Guidelines: In view of the expertise of the eminent experts in the field of infertility, email was
sent to the following 13 doctors inviting them as chairpersons of the Practice Committee

Dr. Palshetkar informed that a confirmatory replies were received from 4 of the above. The
email also stated that in case the acceptance reply was not received in a weeks time, it will
be considered as the faculty has accepted the letter from ISAR. This committee headed by
the above persons , would comprise of three senior members, two junior memers (less than

Item No: 11: Report of YUVA ISAR Congress, Jodhpur organized by the Rajasthan
State Chapter of ISAR :

Dr. Sanjay Makwana, the organizing chairperson of the 1st YUVA ISAR Conference being held
at Jodhpur informed the committee that the conference being held at Hotel Indana
Palace,Jodhpur on 26th and 27th July 2014 is organized by the ISAR Rajasthan Chapter. This
conference is fully dedicated to young talents in connotation with experienced hands. is
attended by about 250 to 300 delegates. The conference is attended by a good number of
delegates. Workshop was conducted by Prof.Dr. Osama Shawki. 13 cases were
demonstrated from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm on _____ July 2014.

The conference is preceded by one workshop and two symposia:

Dr. Pai thanked Dr. Sanjay Makwana, Dr. Renu Makwana and the team for all their efforts in hosting
the conference. The executive committee appreciated the hospitality of the organizing team and
thanked the organizing team for the efficient work done.
Item No: 12: Letter received from COGI:
An email dated 30th May 2014 regarding the 6th Asia Pacific Congress on Controversies in
Gynecology, Infertility & Ultrasound (COGI), HO Chi Minh City(Saigon),Vietnam, November 20th to
22nd, 2014 about endorsement and promotion request.
The email seeked permission from the Indian Society for Assisted Reproduction to endorse the COGI
Vietnam Congress. The endorsement would be a non-financial endorsement and meant recognition
of the COGI- Vietnam Congress by the ISAR. The logo of the ISAR would be displayed on the COGIVietnam website which would be linked to the website of ISAR.
Dr. Pai said that priority should be given to the office bearers of the ISAR, Chairpersons and
Secretaries of the state chapters of ISAR
Item No: 13: Discussion on ISAR Newsletter Nari Express:
Dr. Palshetkar informed that the first newsletter was edited by Dr. Duru Shah. It was decided that Dr.
Kanthi Bansal and Dr. Nayana Patel be the editors of the next newsletter. The committee asked the
editors to release the next newsletter during the conference of the Maharashtra State Chapter of
the ISAR , which would be held on 21st to 23rd November 2014 in Mumbai. The newsletter would

Item No: 14: Constitutional changes to be done in ISAR Constitution:
Item No: 15: Discuss about Emryology Training Course
It was Resolved that A separate bank account will be opened in the name of ISAR to carry out
activities related to embryology training programme. And to transfer money earmarked for the
course.

The signatory for operating the bank account would be Secretary general, Chairman embryology
course (Dr. Vijay Mangoli for 3 years_, and Dr. Sadhana Desai. The bank account would be jointly
operated by any two of the above three signatories.

It was resolved that, Dr. Vijay Mangoli be the chairperson of the newly formed embryology
division Proposed by Dr. Ameet Patki and Seconded by Dr. Kanthi Bansal.

(h) Application of ISAR Office Staff- An application was received from the ISAR Office Staff
regarding appraisal of the staff salary. After the discussion regarding the same it was
decided to give a one time increment of 10% of the basic salary to the ISAR office staff.
It was also suggested that instead of having the staff working for two organizations, the ISAR
should have the staff working as full time only for ISAR as ISAR is a growing organization.
