Intercede with Us for the Muslim World!

In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of Gods grace (Eph.
1:7).
Muslims do not believe in the fallen nature of man or in the idea that sin is rebellion against their Creator God. They
consider works as the way to please God and reach heaven. Let's pray that the Holy Spirit will convict them of their sin and
their need for forgiveness, so that they may truly have a relationship with the Father and eternal life with Him.*

Today's Prayer Requests: From Students, Alumni, and Missionaries

LIBERIA: Praise God, cases of Ebola in Liberia are diminishing. And, an AG church leader writes, The church of
Liberia is growing: more people, more baptismal candidates, more fellowship BUT no touching, hand shaking, etc.
Continue to pray that Muslims, who are especially affected, would join those who are finding Jesus. Pray that they
would see miracles and revelations of God's love for them.
MALI: A church leader here asks us to pray for Mali, where the number of Ebola cases has reached 8 and about 300
people are being monitored. Most cases are traced to a Guinean imam who died in Bamako; 6 have succumbed thus
far. Pray that this disease may be contained and eradicated. Pray that churches and believers would find open doors to
reach out to Muslims and others who seek Life in the midst of fear.

In the News
This past Tuesday, 5 church leaders were arrested and a Presbyterian Evangelical Church congregation dispersed in
Khartoum, Sudan. They were guarding church property that authorities claim must be ceded to a Muslim businessman.
Several homes and a church wall on the compound were bulldozed this past week. According to Morning Star News,
Harassment, arrests and persecution of Christians have intensified since the secession of South Sudan, when
[President] Bashir vowed to adopt a stricter version of sharia (Islamic law) and recognize only Islamic culture and the
Arabic language. On August 24, a Pentecostal church was closed down. Please pray for our brothers and sisters in
Sudan, that the Lord will give them wisdom as they serve Him in difficult times. Pray that their lives would attract
seeking Muslims to Jesus. See more at http://tinyurl.com/kmovkop.

Islam face the most pressure. The Tanzania Assemblies of God has more than 6,000 churches, with some on the
