Notes:
1. Skirt is secured with an I cord tie threaded through yarn overs in the
waist band.
2. Skirt is knit in three tiers with increases between them.
3. Pattern is written for smallest size with larger sizes in parentheses. If
only one number is given it applies to all sizes.
4. To make skirt longer, add more lace patterns always ending with row 10
of pattern. If you do make skirt longer remember to pick up more yarn.

Stitch Patterns
Round 1 - K1, *ssk, (K1, yo) twice, K1, K2tog, K1; rep from * to
end of round.
Round 2 and all even rounds K around
Round 3 same as round 1 of Lace Pattern
Round 5 K1, *you, ssk, K3, K2tog, yo, K1; rep from * to end
of round
Round 7 K2, *yo, ssk, K1, K2tog, yo, K3; rep from * to last
2 sts, K2
Round 9 K3, *yo, sl 1, K2tog, psso, yo, K5; rep from * to lst 3
sts, K3
I Cord Tie:
Using dpn CO 3 sts
Slide sts to right hand side of needle and K the sts
DO NOT TURN
Slide sts to right hand side of needle and K the sts
Repeat until desired length

Waistband
Cast on 144 (168, 176, 192, 208) sts
Placing stitch marker at beginning of round, work in rounds
as follows:
Round 1 *K2, P2; repeat from * to end of round
Round 2 Same as round 1
Round 3 - *K2tog, yo, P2tog, yo; repeat from * to end of round
Picot Edging
BO2, *sl st on right-hand needle to left-hand needle, CO 2 sts,
BO 4 sts; repeat from * until all sts are bound off
Sew in all ends neatly
Thread I-cord through the yarn overs of round 3
Follow washing instruction from skein band and block to shape
