The Tenderes are requested to refer General Notes,

conditions of contract and all other relevant

by the Contractor. No extra would be paid for the
additional spaces required by the Contractor.

The tenderer is requested to check ground water level


and soil investigation report, limitation of transport,
limitation of site, conditions of the existing raod for

The contractor shall arrange and obtain necessary


permission from Authorities for disposal and dumping
of earth.

Preparation of earth.

2.5.1 Allow for removal of top soil up to a thickness of 150


mm on existing ground level and removal of all debris
away form the site.

2.6.1 All excavations are measured nett and no allowance


made for working space.

Description

Section Preambles

3.1.1 All concrete work shall be Grade 20 concrete unless


otherwise
specified
in
the
drawings
and
specifications.
3.1.2 Contractor shall ensure that all contacting surfces
including reinforcement dowels left out for bonding
purposes is free from any organic or artificial material
which can be hindrance to achieve specified
properties in the drawings and specifications.

3.1.3 All ready mix design to be submitted for prior approval


of the Engineer. The Tenderer shall indicate his
probable Concrete mix suppliers and their details with
the Tender. Tenderer also shall submit probable
kind/manufature of cement proposed to be used.

3.1.4 Rates for concrete shall include all necessary tests by


Institute / Authority acceptable to the Engineer.
3.1.5 Prior approval to be obtained for mix design and all
concrete shall be with river sand.
3.1.6 Rates for reinforced concrete shall include for
a) Mixing, hoisting and placing in position.
b) Vibrating as directed
c) Curing and making all defective surfaces
