Explain how your planned activities will contribute to your development in

the following areas.

Creativity (the arts and other experiences that involve creative

thinking)

-On the trip to Ambato we have to find ways to work and communicate
with autistic children. We have to be able to get to know them and this
requires some knowledge about their behaviour and wit in order to
socialise with the children.
-Organising activities for the child welfare also requires creativity.

Action (Physical exertion contributing to a healthy lifestyle)

The planned activity of the football extracuricular will help my physical
development due to physical exercise.

Service (an unpaid and voluntary exchange that has a learning benefit)
-Working with autistic children in Ambato, will help me learing new ways
to communicate with people that have problems with communication, its
a new approach to people. Working with these children will help me
understand the nature of their being in a way that I dont know yet.
-Working in the Child Welfare community service project will improve my
skills in communication with children from another social background. It
also helps my development of being a person that is aware of the social
differences and realities of this world and the effect it might have on
children.
Will any of the activities be new for you (one you have not done before)?
If so, explain what challenges you might face.
- Working with autistic children in Ambato. Ive never done this kind of
social service before. I expect this to be a difficult task, because I dont
really know much about autism. In the end this social service can bring a
lot of positive experience though and I hope Ill be able to help these
children.
Do you foresee yourself being in a leadership role in any of the activities?
If so, explain in what way.
- In the child welfare community service prjoect I see myself of taking
some leadership, since Im one of the oldest participating and expected to
lead. I think that most part of the leading will be organising the group
and thinking of all the activities.

activities listed.

- one issue of global importance is autism, this is a mental and physical

importance to spread awareness of autism and how one should treat
affected people.
