revealing.

Categorical Imperative
Ideal observer theory
Ethical Egoism.

What makes it Unethical

Divine Command
Theory,
Virtue Theory
Moral Relativism
Duty Theory

Explanation:

1. The twins undergoing a plastic surgery has an ethical side based on the ethical egoism
theory under consequentialism, wherein the result of a certain action is favorable to the
agent who performed such action. In this case, the two felt happiness when they have
achieved their desired looks. Another theory that would support the ethical side is the
Ideal Observer theory under Moral Anti-realist that states it is ethical when it is done by
authority in a particular field. The twins decided to enhance their lips because of a certain
actress in the Hollywood that is very popular and they idolized her. On the other hand,
Divine command theory and Virtue theory will claim that this act is unethical because
according to the divine command theory, our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and
this body does not belong to us but to it Gods so we have to take care our body. We are
created in the image and likeness of God so we should not alter what he gave us. We
should learn to love what God has made and given us.
2. Sharing a boyfriend is unethical. This proposition would be supported by the moral
relativism theory under consequentialism wherein it varies from different groups. For us,

Christians, sharing a boyfriend is immoral just like sharing your spouses. In a long term
perspective, this kind of set up would definitely not work out because the church would
not allow this twins to marry the same man. On the other hand, Categorical Imperative
will claim that this kind of act is ethical because it values the desire/intention over
action.. They say that they have the same taste in everything and with that, they will like
the same guy too. So if they really like the same guy, sharing the boyfriend is just fine
with them because it will make them happy. In this scenario, the twins desire to have the
same boyfriend is valued more than their actions which is ethical according to the said
theory
3. Wearing very revealing dress in public that would disturb or scandalize other people is
unethical according to the duty theory. As stated in this theory, we have three types of
duties namely, Duty to God, Duty to Self, and Duty to other people. How can we seek
respect to other people if we provoked them not to? Respect is earned not just asked from
others. As for the ideal observer theory and ethical egoism theory, it is ethical. For the
ideal observer theory, following whoever is the authority is ethical so wearing those kinds
of clothing, miniskirts low neckline clothes and such, are ethical because those are the
clothes that the leaders of fashion, fashion designers and models, wear. What is ethical
for the ethical egoism theory is different from the ideal observer theory, what is favorable
to the one who performed the action is ethical. So as what they have stated, when they go
out, they get attention from many people. Men want to marry them and date them while
the women ask where they got their clothes from. The admiration and attention that they
get from people around them because of what they wear make them feel good so under
the ethical egoism theory, what they are wearing is ethical.
