EXECUTIVE SUMMARY Snack Shack is a sole proprietorship ow ned by Derrick Sadio
Picardal. He has formulated the idea to put up a snack bar that w ill serve natural fruit
shakes, coffees and pastries to its customers. The idea popped up w hile he w as
thinking of great business ideas that w ould be advantageous to the proprietorship
since he is a beginner in the field. Snack shack w ill offer fruit shakes, coffees and
know n Filipino pastries. The initial objective is to attract the people to taste and
appreciate our ow n products and make them love it. The business w ill compete w ith
hotels, restaurants and liquor bars w ithin its area. The competitive advantage of the
business is that it w ould be the first snack bar that w ould serve fruit shakes, coffees,
and pastries w ithin the area. The business w ill surely be offering a greater quality and
quantity of pastry and also in an affordable price. Moreover, it w ould be convenient to
the customers to enjoy and relax their shakes, coffees and breads either inside our
Modern Tropical Style Nipa Hut or outside our beach front lounge. If successful, the
business w ill have to expand through branching. The ow ner w ould also w ant to
further develop their menu as part of their marketing strategy. Initially, the funding
requirements w ill P 1,000,000.00; breakdow n w ill be show n later. The fund w ill be
allocated for the license and registration, improvements of nipa hut, rent, equipment,
furniture, supplies, and operating expenses. Beforehand there w ill be a training of the

Shack. Since the business w ould be offering snack type of food and beverages sold in
a Nipa Hut or in other terms a Shack. The ow ner w ould like to serve the best fruit
shakes, coffees and pastries to its customers so that they w ould embrace the very
ow n tastes of products of the Filipinos just like how they embrace the ambiance and
hospitality of the Filipinos. The business is a sole proprietorship ow ned by Derrick
Sadio Picardal. The proprietorship w ill put up a snack bar w hich w ill offer fruit shakes,
coffees and pastries such as Kapeng Barako, Robusta and Arabica, Ice Cream
Coconut, Sun Sw eetened Straw berry, Choc Banana, Juicy Mango, Pandesal,
Ensaymada, Mamon, Pianono and Spanish Bread. The proprietorship w ill be named
Snack Shack w hich w ill also be the name of the snack bar. The proprietorship w ould
like to be know n for serving fruit shakes, coffees and pastries. The business plans to
add more menu as it gains popularity. Furthermore, as it becomes popular and
experienced in the field, it plans to branch out and eventually offer franchise to
achieve grow th. Vision and Mission Statement Snack Shacks vision is to introduce to
our local and foreign customers the great varieties of fruit shakes, coffees and
pastries the Philippines has to offer and be popular by serving them one of our ow n
Filipino style pastries and popular varieties of coffee from the Philippines. And in order
to be one Snack Shacks missions are to: (a)
