(The following information is for those applying to BYU, BYU-Idaho, and LDSBC)
All secondary education and college work (not US accredited) done outside of the United States must be evaluated by an
international credential evaluation agency at the applicant's expense. The CES schools' preferred agency is International
Education Research Foundation (IERF) http://www.ierf.org/byu-ces. When selecting report type, please choose "detail report."
If you choose World Education Services, WES, the required type of evaluation report for high school (secondary education)
documents is "DxD", and the required type of evaluation report for college or university documents is "CxC".
Choosing alternate evaluations may result in additional fees and a delay in the assessment. We suggest that you arrange for
your academic documents to be submitted to IERF or WES 4-6 weeks before our admission application deadline in order to
allow enough time for the company to submit the evaluation to CES.
ACT or SAT is required for all students applying to BYU. BYU-Idaho and BYU-Hawaii only require it of students from Canada and
the U.S. territories and those educated in a U.S. based educational system.
International Post-baccalaureate Studies Applicants (BYU only) (a baccalaureate degree and a cumulative 3.0 grade
point average are prerequisites for admission consideration. Additionally, PBS admission to fall and winter semesters is
