Portrait a documentary on photography

Directed by: Andy Newman
Video found: Vimeo
Featuring: Andria Lindquist and Cory Staudacher

Commented [JT20]: Abriana: I know you said during the

peer workshopping class that you didnt film the video. Did
you direct it, or is it a clip from an actual documentary? I am
curious because if the video was a clip that you found it
might be beneficial for you to add some extra text slides,
voice overs, etc just to give the video your own spin.
Commented [JT21]: Gemma: I would think about using
some of your own footage for this assignment. It will give
the trailer a more personal feel. This will also make your
trailer more relatable to the viewer.
Commented [JT22]: Madison: The footage you used for
this video worked very well. One thing that may help is
introducing the people and how they fit into your topic. We
have their name and jobs but not really how it relates to
your topic, I would identify the topic a little more clearly.

Music Used:

Simple from iMovie music library

Commented [JT23]: Madison: I like how your video has a

professional feel to it. It flowed very nicely and enjoyable to
watch. The music also made a nice touch to it.
Commented [JT24]: Cassidy: I liked how you used music
to make the video more appealing. I like how you faded the
music in and out in order to let the viewers hear what the
actors were saying.I think that was a really cool aspect to
the video, and I think it made it better than if you would
have just did music over the whole video.
Commented [JT25]: Gemma: The music that you chose
fit very well with the content of your trailer. I liked how the
music helped give it a positive and fun feel. That is really
important because instagram is supposed to be a fun app
and your trailer really portrayed that.
