Theanalysisbeginsbycarefullymeasuringthedirectjobs,payrollandoutputcreatedbytheexpendituresby,andinsupportof,
Firefly'sguests,providersandtheeventorganizer.Careistakentoinsurethateachinitialexpndituresiscountedonce,andonlyonce.
Theseinitialexpendituresbegintoripplethroughtheeconomyintheformofpurchasesofgoodsandservicesfromthemanydiverse
businesssuppliersthatsupportFirefly'sactivities,directlyorindirectly.Inadditiontherearefurtherimpactsontheeconomyasthe
employeesofFireflyandallofitsdirectandindirectsuppliersspendtheirwagesandsalaries.Allofthesefurtherpurchasesare
termed"additionalmultipliercontributions."Thetotalcontributionisthesumofthedirectorinitialspendingandthemultiplier
contributions.Atallstagesofpurchasinggoodsandservicesandpayingofwagesandsalaries,additionaltaxesarepaidtoFederal,
