ORIGIN: Magic is a funny thing. Sometimes, you find it, but more often than not, it finds you. Thats what
happened to Serena. Born and raised in Denver, Colorado, Serena was an exceptional student. She was
spending a summer at Oxford when magic first found her. Thats when she met Oliver King. A handsome,
bookish young man, Oliver was completing his own studies at the time. He was also a promising young wizard
who, disguised as the Black Cowl, used his powers to protect others. The couple married a few years later,
and moved to the United States when Serena became pregnant. The day her daughter Sierra was born was
the second time that magic found Serena. But tragedy was soon to follow. The demons attack came out of
nowhere. Oliver managed to banish the creature, but was mortally wounded in the battle. Before he died,
Oliver told Serena that she had more power than he could ever hope to, and that she would have to take up
magic to protect their daughter, whose magical potential inexplicably dwarfed anything Oliver had ever seen.
It was Sierra, Oliver suspected, the demon had been after. With tears in her eyes, the young Serena
promised her dying husband that she would, then kissed him one last time. She went back to England to study
with Olivers former mentor, and three grueling years later, the sorceress Pandora was born.

accordingly for 1 page for every 2 net successes you roll. Your illusions exist only in the targets mind.
Images: You can create illusory sights and sounds that can be seen and heard by all observers including
people, animals, and objects like cameras and microphones. Your images arent real and have no substance. At
a rank of 3d, you can create images big enough to fill a large room.
Medical: This trait covers everything from basic first aid to neurosurgery.
Might: Your physical strength; its used when attacking with melee weapons or your bare hands and when
throwing heavy objects (use Athletics when throwing light objects); its also used when grappling. You can
lift up to 250 pounds.
Perception: Your physical senses, empathy, intuition, and general level of awareness.
Professional: Reflects what you know as a result of your career or profession.
Riding: Combines riding, caring for animals, and mounted combat.
Science: Your knowledge of all scientific topics.
Stealth: Your ability to do things like hide, move quietly, and follow people surreptitiously.
Streetwise: Your knowledge of the criminal underworld and your ability to interact with it.
Super Senses: You have superhuman senses. Astral Sight lets you see into the astral realm and interact
with invisible spirits. Detection (magic) allows you to detect and follow sources of magic (use Perception to
make any necessary trait rolls).
Survival: Wilderness survival in all environments.
Technology: The use, repair, and even creation of mechanical and technological items.
Thievery: This trait concerns intrusion and theft.
Toughness: Your physical resilience; used as your passive defense against physical attacks and to resist
agents like diseases, drugs, and poisons.
Vehicles: Your ability to operate land vehicles. At 2d, you can only operate everyday vehicles.
Willpower: Your spirit; used as your passive defense against mental attacks and powers.
