SPACE TRAVEL

Space exploration was one of the most important directions of competition between Sovit Union
and the USA. The lounch of the first artifical setellite Setellite 1 in 1957 was the beginning of the
era of space exploration. The first person who flew to the Space was Jury Gagarin who did it in the
spaceship East 1 in 1961.
Space exploration is still partly unknown and difficult to discus sphere of scientific activity. But it
can be as profitable as dangerous.
The profit that can be received from the space exploration is enormous and influences all the
important spheres.
Economical.
Space exploration in this sphere is only developing and for now the only commercial and profitable
economical project is the launching of communicatioms setellites. But it is obvious that it is not the
only possibility because the world has a lot of problems like lack of minerals, environmentally
friendly power sources that can be received by space exploration. So we can predict that in the
future exploration of the solar system will be the only apportunity to solve these problems. And
probably the most important business will be connected to transportating from orbit to orbit and the
cintroller of this flow will controll the economy of all the planet.

Political.
It was always clear for all the politicians that leadership in space exloration means a lot in creating
of the image of a country in the international level.
Military.
The military role of space exploration is really huge. It allows to have the groups of millitary
setellites which are really important for creating of superhigh-frequency weapons. We can also
mention Ballistic Missile Early Warning System, and the possibility to receive the information in
the real time to know what is happening in the particular militaty territory.

Scientific.
It is easy to understand scientific importance of the space exploration if just to realize that it has
so much vacuum, ultralow temperatures and no gravity. And it costs a lot to achieve this conditions
on the Earth.

Dangerous aspect
First, it is very difficult to help the austronaut in the open space. The most dangerous thing here is
space polution. Moreover preflight maneuvering is complicated in the open space. And there is a
potential danger too loose a spaceship. It can lead to death because of the lack of fresh air to breath.

The plan of the Moon exploration.

The most important direction in the space exploration nowadays is exploration of
Moon resources to create extraterrestrial industrial manufacture. It can allow to solve
the problems of ecological, economical and energetic crisis that can be harmful and
dangerous for the people.
