III. ABSTRACT
The main purpose of this investigatory project is to make a natural insecticide that could
stop the damage particularly in the growth of crops, shrubs, timbers, and other vegetation human
do for survival. Today we can clearly see, humans slow killing its own world specifically our
Mother Nature. As students, we should be aware of what is happening in our environment and
society and do something, in our smallest little ways, to help preserve our only home. Now, to
lessen the problem in our Ozone layer, we are going to study about the use of natural insecticides
that are CFC-free. We can not only protect and help preserve our environment, but we can also
ensure that our plants and crops will be growing healthy too. This means using nature's tools to
grow your plants, fruits, and vegetables. This is the best substitute to synthetic insecticides that
can harm our planet. A synthetic insecticide can contain poisons and toxins that are not found in
a natural insecticide. These can be harmful to living things other than the insects they were
intended for. Synthetic chemical insecticides often contain ingredients that kill beneficial insects.
These insects may be bees that pollinate fruits and vegetables. They may be ladybugs or
butterflies, which are also helpful to have in a garden. A natural insecticide will probably leave
beneficial insects safe.

IV. RESEARCH PLAN

A. Materials/Methods

Methods
Oh those pesky bugs! If you are a gardener, you know how difficult it can be to deal with
the insects that love to eat your plants. Most of us know that traditional chemical pesticides (or
insecticides) are unhealthy for us and the planet, but are generally a widely used tool to combat
garden pests. There are some easy and inexpensive natural pesticides you can make at home to
help you win the battle of the bugs and be eco-friendly. Here are a few ideas to use in your own
home and garden.

Materials

Pepper (Hottest of its kind)

Others

Liquid Soap

Blender

Water

Strainer

Empty Container

IV. RESEARCH PLAN

B. Treatment/General Procedure
Procedure
1.) Liquid soap is a great alternative to toxic chemicals for both indoor and
outdoor plants.
2.) Mix 2 tablespoons of liquid soap or dishwashing liquid with 1 quart water,
and pour into a spray bottle. Most indoor household plants tolerate this
natural pesticide well. Spray leaves, stem and topsoil to deter insects from
coming back. Aphids, mealybugs, whiteflies and mites are all affected by
this soap remedy.
3.) Prepare your blender.
4.) Pour at least two glass of water on the blender.
5.) Add two tablespoons of liquid soap.
6.) Add at least five cut pepper. (Depends on the size of your pepper, but the
spicier, the better.)
7.) Pepper and garlic are both natural insect repellents and will help to repel
Japanese Beetles, borers, leafhoppers and slugs. Garlic also deters larger pest
like deer and rabbit.
8.) Start to blend.
9.) Prepare your container and strainer.
10.) Filter all the solid particles from the liquid.
11.) Put your liquid product on your prepared container.
12.) Seal your product.

V. INTRODUCTION
A. Background of the Study
Nowadays, people especially the gardeners are suffering from pest attacks that cause
damage to their plants especially plants with benefits like herbal plants, vegetables and fruits.
Because of this problem, we have come up with this idea to make a Natural Pesticide that can be
useful to lessen pest attacks and to have more productive harvest in their plants without damages
from pests and insects. We also chose this study to work on because we want to promote the use
of Non-CFC products that could help our Mother Earth in retaining its beauty.
B. State of Problem/Objectives
Problem: Pollution is everywhere and pests are destructing mans needs for survival.
Objective/s: Save mother Earth and mans needs for survival.
C. Significant of the Study
The importance of this study is that we are helping gardeners to stop or lessen their
problems about pest attacks that damage their plants. We also used Non-CFC products that are
helpful in retaining the beauty of our Mother Earth. It is also important specifically to our
education because as a student and an individual, we have come up with the idea of making a
Natural Pesticide that is useful for all gardeners. At a very young age, we are helping Filipino
gardeners with the aid of education.

D. Scope and Limitations

In this study we have gathered some statistics, problems and objectives on how to solve
pollution and earth especially on how to permanently stop it and stop pests from attacking mans
needs for survival. We have also observed that we are lacking of contributors and members to
help us in this project and we have difficulties in making the projects in no less than 3 days.

E. Review of Related Literature

As we are making the project we took a couple of hours to truly perform and prove the
project was effective but through Gods guidance we completed the projects procedure and test
it successfully. The Pesticide/Insecticide was effective it killed insects like cockroaches and let
beneficial insects live and it put no effect on good insects like grasshoppers that helps in
facilitating plants decomposition and regrowth.

VI. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION

From the experiment that we have conducted, the following results can be recorded. First,
the liquid soap is an effective means of eliminating pests and insects particularly at home. Next
is that it is not harmful to the plants because all the raw materials are natural and free from CFC.
Another is it is safe to use for it cannot cause any allergy to the external parts of the body.
The result that we have gathered from the experiment is consistent with the existing
studies and literature published. A study concluded that pesticides derived from organic sources
are considered environmentally, friendly and causing less harm to human and animal health, and
to habitats and ecosystem. In contrary, in organic insecticide are regarded as toxic.
VII. CONCLUSIONS
Therefore we conclude that, through building new discoveries new products we all
people could contribute in living life the better and relaxing way someday. We could conclude
that if we continue to do things like using natural products that are not against our Mother Earth,
we could still save and nourish, preserve and live with it over decades and centuries. In the finale
we could conclude that everything in this world has its own good and bad purpose so lets make
use of our talents to finally close our worlds problem and humanitys problem about pollution.

VIII. RECOMMENDATION
As me and my co-makers are making the said project we recommended that we
better prepare for a new and 100% successful product that could help Earth from different
mistake made by man and for man also to survive Earths and natures forces like natural
disasters like typhoon and flood. As we have planned we gathered some goals to be made
problems to be solve and here are the following leads which may lead us into a new
discovery and solution to the different problem in the society; Electric Car, Natural
Cologne, Non-CFC Air-condition Machines and Alternative Fertilizers.
