Nick,
Per the e-mails below my signature, I'm concerned that writer Noah Davis refuses to provide me with
details regarding his claimed choking rescue in his story that you edited.
Would you please ask Mr. Davis to provide you with answers to these questions I sent him and let me know
the results?
1) What was the date of the choking incident?
2) What's the name and approximate address of the Dominican restaurant?
3) What's the name of the friend who rescued you? Would you put me in touch with him/her?
Thanks for your continued attention. I'd like to blog this ASAP, so if your schedule permits, I'd welcome
your reply before the weekend -- Peter

Mr. Heimlich, again thanks for your continued attention to the story. But I don't want
Nick or Noah releasing that information to you. The friend was unnamed and so was
the restaurant. And we are going to leave it that way. Thank you again. But let's call
this matter complete now.
Allbest,
Maria

Last questions, please.
Have you and/or Nick verified the information with Mr. Davis -- that is, the date of the claimed

choking incident, the name of the restaurant, and the name of his friend?
If not, do you intend to?
If you don't intend to, please explain why not.

We have very clear fact checking processes for our print and web authors. Again, I
appreciate your interest but we have piles of work we have to get to. We won't be
answering any other emails.

So I experienced in our recent exchange which resulted in Nick Jackson "disappearing" the multiple
errors in the original version of Mr. Davis's article: https://copy.com/dlxfSVJnrP2vIOe4
I'm copying Geane DeLima and Alissa Neil in the event that they wish to review, comment, or provide
any facts to substantiate Mr. Davis's claimed choking rescue. If so, I'm going to print Monday noon my
time, so they should get back to me before then.
