The Terrifying Headmaster


Mr. Tucker is the headmaster of my school. He does not wear glasses. His eyes always
frighten me even when I refuse to face them. They are sharp, hard, and cold, and he uses them
like a whip.
He always washes his hands in an enamel basin in the corner of the room, After he was
washed them, he will walk over to his desk and stand behind it looking at the pupils while he
dries his hands on a small, white towel. He dries each finger separately, beginning with the first
finger. His fingers are long and white. He rubs them briskly without losing the effect of
deliberation and as he rubs them, he looks at us with his eyes.
No one moves while he dries his hands, no one speaks. When he finishes, he will fold the
towel and put it in the desk drawer. Then he will awkwardly smile at us.
He really terrifies me.

Bunaken National Marine Park
The Bunaken National Marine Park is located at the north of the island of Sulawesi,
Indonesia. This marine park is made up of the mainland along the coast of Manado and five
islands: The Bunaken, Manado Tua, Siladen, Mantehage and Nain.
Bunaken is about 45-60 minutes by boat from Manado. It is the most amazing diving
place in the world. The waters of Bunaken National Marine Park are extremely deep (1,560meter
in Manado Bay). However, people can dive safely at Bunaken. The temperature is about 27 29
Celsius. Divers can find corals, fish, sponges, clams, and other sea species in the water. Bunaken
has about 60 kinds of corals and a thousand of fish species.
Bunaken Marine Park is such a treasure trove of biodiversity.

Once upon a time, there was a blind man who lived in the same house with the lame
man. They were good friends to each other.
Only day the blind man said to the lame man, I can run with my legs, but I cannot see
with my eyes. What will I do, if there is a fire?
The lame man answered, I can see with my eyes, but I cant run with my legs. If you can
carry me on your back, I can see for you and you can run for me.
Thats a good idea said the blind man.
Lets help each other.
Not long after this, there was a fire. The blind man carried the lame man on his back.
And so they both got out the house.
