JUDICIAL AFFIDAVIT OF JOAN A. ALLIG


This Judicial Affidavit of Joan Allig, who is the head of the
Finance Division of Friends Lending Corporation, is executed
to serve as her direct testimony in the instant case. This
Judicial Affidavit is being offered to prove the following:
A.)
All the allegations in the complaint including all
annexes appended thereto and which were already
marked as exhibits in the case;
B.)
All other related matters, facts and circumstances
relevant and material to this case. This Judicial Affidavit
was taken at the office of Atty. Veverlie D. Balawan at
#34 Ancheta Street, Purok 4, Bulanao, Tabuk City,
Kalinga. Questions were propounded by Atty. Veverlie
D. Balawan in English language which the witness fully
understands and are numbered consecutively followed
by an answer of the witness.
Q1. Do you swear to tell the truth and nothing but the truth?
A1. I do.
Q2. Are you aware that you can face criminal liability for
false testimony or perjury if you will not tell the truth?
A2. Yes, I am.

A3. I am Joan Allig, 34 years old and residing at Purok 6,


Bulanao, Tabuk City, Kalinga.
Q4. What is your position in Friends Lending Corporation?
A4. I am the Head of Finance Division at Friends Lending
Corporation.
Q5. What are your functions as the Head of the Finance
Division?
A5. I am the one receiving the loan forms submitted by
borrowers.
Q6. Do you know Ms. Rosemarie G. Perez?
A6. Yes.
Q7. How did you come to know Ms. Perez?
A7. She came to the Friends Lending Office to inquire on our
loan services.
Q8. What kind of loan service did she avail?
A8. It is a loan through a promissory note to serve as
collateral and evidence of the loan.
Q9. I am showing you this document, herein referred to as
Annex A. Do you know this document?
A9. Yes.
Q10. What is this document?
A10. It is a promissory note, Maam.
Q11. Who executed this promissory note?
A11. Ms. Perez, Maam.
Q12. When was this promissory note executed by Ms. Perez?
A12. On May 3, 2012.
Q13. When does the promissory note become due and
demandable?
A13. One year after or on May 3, 2013.
Q14. After the Promissory Note becomes due and
demandable, what did you do?
A14. I, on behalf of the corporation, sent her a demand
letter to pay the loan within seven (7) days from the
receipt of the demand.

Q15. I am presenting to you this document herein referred


to as Annex B. Do you know this document?
A15. Yes. That is the first demand letter which was duly
received by Ms. Perez.
Q16. How did you come to know this document?
A16. I was the one who issued it, Maam.
Q17. Was there any payment made by Ms. Perez in response
to the demand?
A17. No. Ms. Perez did not pay the loan.
Q18. Im showing you this document herein referred to as
Annex C. Do you know about this document?
A18. Yes. That document is the second demand letter duly
receive by Ms. Perez.
Q19. How did you come to know this document?
A19. I was the one who issued the same.
Q20. Was there any payment made?
A20. No, Maam.
Q21. Did Ms. Perez make any attempts to communicate to
you regarding the said loan.
A21. No.

married, and a resident of Bulanao, Tabuk City, Kalinga,
after having sworn to in accordance with law, do hereby
depose and states:
1. That I conducted the examination of witness Ms.
Joan Allig in connection with the case Collection for Sum of
Money docketed as Civil Case No. 2014-015;
2. That I have faithfully recorded the questions asked
and the corresponding answers that the witness gave during
the examination;

3. That neither I nor any other person then present


coached the witness regarding her answers at the time of or
before the examination; and
4. That I fully understand that any false attestation
shall subject me to disciplinary action, including disbarment.
