Paul Collingwood

Paul David Collingwood MBE (born 26 May 1976) is an English cricketer. He was a
regular member of the England Test side, and captain of the One Day International (ODI)
team (20072008). He is also captain of his county, Durham County Cricket Club.
Collingwood is a batting all-rounder, whose batting combines natural strokeplay with
great tenacity. He also bowls reliable medium pace. Described as a "natural athlete", he is
also regarded as one of the finest fielders of his time; usually fielding at backward point
or in the slips, he has also deputised as wicket-keeper for England.
His first class debut was in 1996, and he made his first appearance for England in One
Day International cricket in 2001 and made his Test match debut in 2003. For two years
he remained an occasional Test player, but after selection for the final Test of the 2005
Ashes, he secured a regular place. His 206 during the 200607 Ashes was the first double
century by an England batsman in Australia for 78 years. A series of three consecutive
match-winning performances by Collingwood at the end of the 200607 Commonwealth
Bank Series in Australia brought him enthusiastic approval in the British media. His
"allround display of incredible nerve and tenacity" helped to secure the trophy for
England. In 2010 he led the England team to their first ICC Trophy, the 2010 World
Twenty20. He is England's most capped ODI cricketer and leading ODI run scorer. He
announced his retirement from Test cricket in January 2011, during the 5th Test of the
201011 Ashes series. He finished on a high, becoming a three-times Ashes winner as
England won a series in Australia for the first time in 24 years, with three innings
victories contributing to a 31 win.
Kieron Pollard
Kieron Adrian Pollard (born 12 May 1987) is a Trinidadian cricketer who plays for the
West Indies. An aggressive all-rounder, Pollard provides medium-fast pace bowling and
big-hitting from the middle-order. After shining during the 2009 Champions League
Twenty20, he was signed by both the Southern Redbacks and Somerset for their domestic
Twenty20 campaigns. He was the joint highest paid player in the 2010 Indian Premier
League, playing for Mumbai Indians.
He has been announced as an Icon Player at the launch for the Caribbean Premier League
for the summer of 2013. He is yet to make his test debut

Twenty20 career
Although named in the provisional 30-man squad for the 2007 ICC World Twenty20,
Pollard failed to make the cut for the tournament. The absence of Pollard and Lendl
Simmons from the West Indies performance squad in 200708 was described as
"baffling" by Tony Cozier, describing how the pair "had been seemingly identified as
among those for the future but have quickly been shunted aside." Pollard was
disappointing as Trinidad and Tobago won the 200708 Stanford Twenty20, averaging
nine from his three innings.

the Slinga" both terms still consistently being associated with him in street cricket and
general cricketing society. He is well known for his ability to take consecutive wickets:
he is the first and only bowler in the world to have two World Cup hat-tricks, the first and
only bowler to have taken three hat-tricks in ODIs and he is also the first, and currently
the only, player to have taken four wickets in four consecutive balls in any form of
international cricket. On 22 April 2011, he announced his retirement from Test cricket.
He bowls around a speed of 140 km/h (87 mph). His fastest ball was clocked at 155.7
km/h (96.8 mph) in 2011.
His ODI and T20 bowling average and economy rate are amongst the best in the game.
[citation needed] He is known for his ability to bowl yorkers and slower bowls to restrict
scoring in the later overs of games.
Malinga was the captain of the Sri Lankan cricket team that won the 2014 ICC World
Twenty20 and was part of the team that made the final of 2007 Cricket World Cup, 2011
Cricket World Cup, 2009 ICC World Twenty20 and 2012 ICC World Twenty20.
Brett Lee
Brett Lee (born 8 November 1976) is a former Australian cricketer and a Channel Nine
cricket commentator. During his international career, Lee was recognised as one of the
fastest bowlers in the world of cricket. In each of his first two years, he averaged less

than 20 with the ball, but since then has mostly achieved figures in the early 30s. He was
also known as an athletic fielder and useful lower-order batsman, with a batting average
exceeding 20 in Test cricket.
On 13 July 2012, Lee announced his retirement from all forms of international cricket.
Having declined to renew his contract with his home state side New South Wales, he
continues to play T20 cricket in the IPL and Big Bash League. For the 6th season of
Indian Premier League he did double duty for Kolkata Knight Riders, taking on the role
of bowling mentor in addition to his playing role.
Records

Lee was the first player in Twenty20 International cricket to take a hat-trick.

Lee is the fastest Australian ODI player to take 100 wickets. He reached the
milestone in his 54th match. He is also second on the world list which is led by
Saqlain Mushtaq who achieved the feat in one less match(53 matches)

Lee along with Bob Willis are the only cricketers to take more than 300 wickets in
Test career without having even a single ten wicket haul in a match.

AS of June 2013, he along with Zaheer Khan are the only Test cricketers with 300
or more wickets but only 10(the least among the 300wicket club) 5-wicket hauls
in test innings.
