Pre commissioning Test of IBS II at CH 12.

Central Block Station.
AT UNLOADING YARD
1) Advance starter Signal No. S 23 tested from unloading panel with track circuit 23T, BPAC(UL
YARD-IBS) Axt (EL) and 39T of IBS. Correspondence of Signal both ON and OFF aspects were
verified from panel and site found ok. The signal going to danger if any of the above track circuit
fail i.e. as soon as the train passes the signal. The signal can be re-lowered only when the train
clears 23T, BPAC(UL YARD-IBS) Axt and 49T of IBS.
2) UBS- IBS Signal tested from Unloading cabin panel with track circuit 39T, BPAC(IBS-CBS)Axt
(EL) and 1T of CBS. Correspondence of Signal both ON and OFF aspects were verified from
panel and site found ok. The signal can be relowered only when the train clears 39T, BPAC(IBSCBS)Axt (EL)and 1T of CBS.
AT CENTRAL BLOCK STATION
3) Advance starter Signal No. S4 of CBS tested from CBS panel with track circuit 4T, BPAC
(CBS-IBS) Axt LL and 2T of IBS. Correspondence of Signal both ON and OFF aspects were
verified from panel and site found ok. The signal going to danger as soon as the train passes the
signal. The signal can be re-lowered only when the train clears 4T, BPAC (CBS-IBS) Axt LL
and 2T of IBS.
4) CBS-IBS Signal at IBS tested from panel of CBS cabin with track circuit 2T, BPAC IBS-ULYARD Axt (LL) and 2T of Unloading. Correspondence of Signal both ON and OFF aspects were
verified from panel and site found ok. The signal can be relowered only when the train clears 2T,
BPAC IBS-UL-YARD Axt (LL) and 2T of Unloading.
AT IBS
5) IBS Signal No. S39 for EL and IBS Signal No 2 for LL checked for their correspondence from
panels the working found satisfactory.
6) Track circuit 39T of EL and 2T of LL checked for their parameters and the same found
responding to 0.5 ohms resistance.
7) Field equipment of the Axle counters for both Empty line and Load line found properly housed
on the rails and there parameters found within range.
8) IPS and Batteries checked and found working satisfactory.

COMMISSIONING OF IBS II BETWEEN UNLOADING AND


CENTRAL BLOCK STATION.

THE WORK OF IBS II BETWEEN UNLOADING AND CENTRAL BLOCK STATION IS


COMPLETED IN ALL RESPECT AND THE SAME IS TESTED JOINTLY WITH M/S NTPC SIPAT,
THE SYSTEM IS SAFE FOR NORMAL WORKING OF RAKE MOVEMENT.
THIS SYSTEM OF IBS II IS COMMISSIONED ON ____________ FIRST RAKE WITH
ENGINE NUMBER ____________ PASSED ON PROPER SIGNAL AT ______________ HRS.
ALL DRIVERS AND ASSISTANT DRIVERS TO OBSERVE SIGNAL AT IBS II
CAUTION ORDER TO BE ISSUED TO ALL RAKE MOVEMENTS FOR A PERIOD OF 10 DAYS.
