Description:
An insperational montage blending in two or more pictures
with in eachother, and the use of typography.

Date: Oct 25, 2014

Program(s)
Adobe Photoshop

Objectives:
To learn how to manage photoshop layers
Learn how to bleed images together smoothly, and using masks.
To use filters
How to apply appropriate typography
Process:
I started off by finding an insperational quote that I liked. Then finding the
right kind of images I wanted to go with the story that I wanted to tell by this.
I opened a 8.5x11 paper. I then put the images on different layers, so that I
could work on them sepretly. Once I placed them where I wanted them, and
layered them; I began to mask them together. With black brush at 65% opacity
I began to blend the edges together. Then using the white brush at 25% opacity I made the colors of the flag to stand out more by brighteing the colors on
it. Then I put in the quote and added a dropshadow so that way it will stand
out more, and will be easier to read.

I decided to make a brochure about a gym. I first created what
I wanted to say in the brochure; then I came up with a name for
the gym. Then in Illistrator I created the logo which I used the
pen tool to create the muscle man. Then using photoshop to help
with the images, I broke them up into sections to help make it
easier for people to read as well as knowing where to go for the
information. The color scheme I wanted something that would
grab peoples attention, at the same time was appealing to the
eye.

Objectives:
Create a logo to fit a company or personal image
Design constent layout for a businees card and letter head
Process:
I created a logo for a company that I made up. With the name
Komodo. Which I got the idea from the Komodo Dragon one
of my favorite animals. Thats what helped me to go with the
claw marks on the cards. With that I wanted to make a presence, and put out that the company may not be big or we
might not have lots of people; but we are just as good if not
better. I went with the black and green to help make the claw
marks to pop out.
