Future Phone:
The mobile phone penetration is growing very fast in Bangladesh. The
small island of 55000 sq: mile is having 160 million populations and
mobile penetration is yet to reach 20%. Exactly the growth prospect is
very high. Moreover the life span of a mobile device in Bangladesh is
not more than 3 years. The new subscriber growth and replacement of
mobile device has created a very big market in Bangladesh.
There are few established vendors are having market share of 70% and
the rest belongs to non brand, poor quality products, which does not
ensure quality and does not care about customer satisfaction. The main
factor of their growth is price.
Considering above the CFV has decided to create its own brand Future
Phone and established a strong marketing and support network
country wide to grab at least 10% of mobile phone market by end of
2010. CFV is promoting future then as a brand in Bangladesh by
utilizing our well established sales and Marketing network. We have
over 44 distributors in Bangladesh.

Venture Ltd has been incorporated in 2007 & located in Nikunja-01 at
Dhaka. The Company started its operation with a goal to serve the telecom

The main Strength of company is our professional and well experienced
management team who are having Local and International Exposures. Their
effort and endeavor has put CRYSTAL FUTURE GROUP to a respectable
stand from where it can take any future venture in this sector.
Two leading groups of the country started the venture and recent inclusion
of Mr. Sabbir Ahmed Khan as a Managing Director has elevated the company
to a difficult level where telecommunication is concerned.
Mr. Khan joined BTL (the first private telecom operator in Bangladesh) in
the year 1990 and left the organization as an Executive director in 1997 and
joined Motorola as a Project Manager. Mr.Khan has completed his masters in
project Management from George Washington University of USA and
worked for Motorola up to June 2009 and left the organization as President
of Motorola Bangladesh and Regional Director for South Asia (Bangladesh,
Nepal, Maldives, Srilanka & Bhutan). During his job span in Motorola he has
completed many large volume projects as a project Manager, developed a
skilled and professional team with more than 200 human resource and made
many large volume sales with his leadership as an Operation Director,
Regional Director or President of Motorola in Bangladesh. As recognition of
his effort, he got award like Millennium High Performance Award in 2000,
Sales Achievement Award in 2001, Sales Man of the Year in 2004,
Chairmans Club WNNRs award in 2007.

Ananda Kumar Chatterjee, Director

Mr. Chatterjee joined Pacific Bangladesh Telecom Ltd (the first private
Mobile operator in Bangladesh) in the year 1996 and left the organization as
a Vice President (Engineering) in 2004 and Joined Telebarta Ltd. (PSTN
operator based on CDMA WLL System) as a General Manager (Technical).
He has completed is B.Sc. Engineering in Electrical and Electronics from
Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET) of Bangladesh
and worked for Telebarta upto June 2009 and left the organization as Head of
Technical. During his job span in Telecom field he has completed many large
projects as a project Manager & Director, developed as skilled and
professional team with more than 300 human resource and made many large
volume development and operations with his leadership as a Technical Head.
Now he is newly connected in this Organization as a Director.

Network Planning and Design
CFVL provides Network Planning & Design Services to its customers,
right from Radio Frequency (RF) & Transmission Engineering to Fixed
and Core Network Engineering Design in the Wireline and Wireless
domain GSM, CDMA. Transmission Backhual, WiMAX and Broadband
Network.
The planning and design process assesses alternative options of network
Technologies, Network Migration, Expansion considerations and
incorporates them into the planning document. Network Planning &
Design Services deliver value by designing the most economical network
with the highest Quality of Service (QoS) to support current and future
service, technology and capacity requirements. To satisfy the discerning
requirements of Customers, CFVL engineers use technology expertise,
sophisticated algorithms, world-class tools and disciplined design process
to provide the tool end-to-end, multi-vendor design solutions that not
only fulfill but even exceed customer expectations.

Service Offerings:
CW Test and Model Tuning
Model Tuning, one of the important modules of Radio
Network Planning & Design, simulates the propagation of the
RF signal on the air in order to obtain accurate radio coverage
and interference predictions in the service area.
In the Model Tuning activity, RF measurements are
performed in the different areas of the planned network.
Collected data is used to tune the propagation model
parameters in planning and stimulation tools.
Nominal Cell planning
Using the information specifying the coverage and capacity
requirements for voice and data services of the radio network
being planned creates the Nominal Cell Plan. Planning tools
(viz. Fork Atoll, Planet EV, ASSET3G etc) help perform
Nominal Cell Planning activities using the propagation loss
model as generated by model tuning and other relevant
marketing inputs.

 Radio Network Design & Planning

Detailed design and planning is carried out to deliver
parameter planning, frequency, traffic planning, neighbour
planning and creation of data build. A unique on site off site
model offers economies of scale and faster ramp up for our
valued customers through our planning and optimization
centre.
Swap Planning is the mapping of the existing network RF
parameter with promoting vendor parameter to achieve an
equal or better KPI.

Transmission Network Design & Planning

Planning of backbone and access network PDH, SDH,
DWDM, ATM etc. Link budgeting, interference analysis,
creation of connectivity matrix, detail Microwave planning.
RF/LOS Survey
An RF survey is conducted to finalise the feasible sites based
on Nominal Cell Plan data. This activity commences as the
completion phase of pre-planning nears. An LOS (Line of
Sight) survey is conducted on the final survey site to verify
the M/W connectivity to the planned site.
Network Optimization
Verification Drive Test
With a site on air, it is necessary to check the performance of
the new site. This is done through verification drive tests.
The sites are checked for validating integration parameters
and ascertaining cell performance: call termination, call
origination, handover, power control RX Quality and RX
Level etc.
Parameter Optimization

Once a radio network is operational, its performance is

monitored. The performance is compared against chosen key
performance indicators (KPIs). After fine-tuning radio
parameters, the results are applied to the network to achieve
the desired performance. The main focus of radio network
optimization is on areas such as power control, quality,
handovers, subscriber traffic, and resource availability (and
access) measurements.
Periodic Monitoring & Optimization of the Live Network
Throughout the Network life-cycle
Regular monitoring of the network health (new rollout and
expansion) by doing drive tests and KPI maintenance.
Network Audit, Benchmarking & IBS Planning and Design
Site Audit
Site Audit is a process that identifies discrepancies between
the design and implemented network.
Benchmarking Services
Benchmarking Services is a comprehensive comparative
analysis that provides details on in-market analysis and
network review. The service evaluates performance against
competition and measures network performance using a
Drive test to examine coverage and call quality. Tests are
conducted for call availability, call quality, call set up,
success rate and handover success rate.
IBS
An indoor system can be built for different reasons. If the
coverage is poor from cells outside the building, leading to
bad quality, one solution can be to build an indoor system.
The aim with indoor cell planning is as for traditional cell
planning, to plan for good coverage and capacity and at the
same time interfere as little as possible.
Virtual Planning and Optimisation Centre
