Known Issues
We archived the issues listed here because it's risky to fix them that it needs the modifications of
the structure.
This chapter is as a reference for L3 support.
Case: The application could not work properly if a customer uses Chinese or other
specific symbols when setting the installation folder of TwidoSuite.
* Please do NOT use Chinese symbols in comments of "Describe" page or setup the installation
folder name.
Please always use Latin characters and numbers to setup the installation folder of
TwidoSuite.
Please always use Latin characters and numbers to avoid messy code in comments of
"Describe" page.
Case: Telnet will not be installed automatically on Windows 7 and 8.
* Telnet should be installed manually in Windows 7 and 8.
Case: If a customer could not play the video of the welcome window.
Solutions:
* Please install the Adobe Flash Player in the installation folder.
Case: If the size of the program is too large, it will not be monitored properly by
TwidoSuite.
* The application and the PLC firmware could not work properly if the user uses more than 87% of
the flash space.
You could reduce the size of your application to avoid this issue.
Case: If a customer gets a Registration error when the software displays "Expired" that
occurs in rare cases when he sets the clock into the past or first into the future an then
into the past.
Solutions:
* Forward the PC clock to the date that was farthest set into the future on this PC. As this date it
often not known then set the clock e.g. 1 year into the future, means 2015.
Afterwards you can register the software but only with the registration methods "by web on
another PC", "by email" or "by phone". The registration method "by web" is not working with a PC
date into the future as there happens then an issue with the cookies!
After successful registration you can set the PC clock to the real date.
