Dafilon
Dafilon is a synthetic non-absorbable monofilament suture

made of polymers Polyamide 6/6.6 (dyed blue), Polyamide 6.6
(dyed black) or Polyamide 6 (undyed).
Dafilon blue and Dafilon undyed are indicated for the closure
of superficial wounds and plastic surgery. Dafilon blue is also
used in neurosurgery. Dafilon black is used for microsurgical
and ophthalmic purposes.
As with any nylon suture, though not absorbed, progressive
hydrolysis of the suture, may result in gradual loss of its tensile
strength over time.

Self-Forming Plug
Description
Premilene Mesh, made from monofilament polypropylene, is
used for hernia repair or for reconstruction of the chest wall.
The monofilaments are knitted into an elastic, durable, large
pore mesh. Premilene Mesh is characterized by the extreme
dimensional stability of its thin mesh wall. It adapts optimally
to movements of the patient.
The technically advanced mesh structure is retained after
cutting and does not fray. Premilene Mesh is highly transparent
so that the tissue underneath is visible during surgery.

to the defect and fills it completely. Premilene Mesh SelfForming Plug is a preshaped mesh made of the established
Premilene Mesh. The plug corresponds with all properties of
Premilene Mesh: e. g. Rapid healing and tissue penetration,
bicompatibility, elasticity and stability as well as adaptation to
the movements of the patient. The package includes the flat
Self-Forming Plug and a preshaped onlay.

Description
Coloclean is an irrigation system for intraoperative large bowel
lavage during emergency surgery on the left colon. The set
consists of a collecting bag and a delivery tube with a trocar
and cannula.
Coloclean eliminates the risks and disadvantages of former
irrigation systems. Intraoperative orthograde closed lavage
can be used successfully in benign and malignant stenosing
in the left colon. The usage of coloclean allows for a one-stage
resection of the diseased segment of colon with primary
end-to-end anastomosis even in emergency operations. This
avoids the need for a previous colostomy.
