Idol groups of the same age are suddenly popping up and debuting in the music group. However,
the group, Infinite, has a different color than the other idol groups. The 7 members are all flower
boys* just like any other male idol. However, the difference is the background that they were made
from.
Woolim Entertainment, the company that created band, Nell and hiphop group, Epik High, created
this idol group and showed them to the public.

Their title song of their debut album, First Invasion, has analog sounds to add a rock sound and
various electronic sounds to create a unique mix match type of a song, Come Back Again. The
singer songwriter, Jinu (Hitchhiker), who also created songs like Abracadabra wrote their song.
Of course, this song has a difference from the other dance music that various boy groups released.
With the training process of 2 years, Infinite who had an official debut said, We still dont feel like
we debuted and added, We debuted with a song that could show our color. We feel good that we
could debut with trying something new.
Same company seniors, Epik Highs Tablo and Mithra helped in the creation of their album. Infinite
sent their thanks by saying, Tablo hyung* taught us a lot about music and broadcasting. He really
game a lot of help.
Each members every personality overflows. Sunggyu (Real name: Kim Sunggyu, 21), who is the
leader, was part of a rock band during his school days and was a rock maniac. After graduating
high school, he created a dream of being a rocker by doing various street performances. Coming to
Woolim Entertainment, that has Nell in it, was also the reason. However, he somehow debuted as
part of an idol group. Kim Sunggyu says, I do not mind because at least I am doing music in some
way. And told his dream, We want to become juniors that arent an embarrassment to our
seniors, Epik High and Nell, so that we can perform one stage, shoulder-to-shoulder.
Main vocalist Woohyun (Real name: Nam Woohyun, 19), said, I thought after passing auditions
and coming into the company, that I would be a musician but I became an idol. And laughed
while saying, I like dancing and singing so I wanted to try out being part of an idol group; my
dream came true. Prior to debut, Woohyun was a model in 2008 for the clothes shopping mall,
APM in Dongdaemun*. Before he started modeling, BEASTs Yong Junhyung and T-aras Jiyeon
were models in that shopping mall in 2007. He stated that,I was picked as a model from 3800
others. And added, These days, pictures from when I was a model are spreading around.
Hoya (Real name: Lee Howon, 19) is a member with a lot of talents such as rapping, singing, and
choreographing. He picked his name, Hoya, which was a nickname from his trainee days. Other
members praised him by saying, He is a greedy person because he does anything well. Hoya said
his plans, Even though I didnt take part in the debut songs choreography, I want to take part in
creating the choreography for our future songs. Along with this, Hoya revealed his large dream,
We will try for one of Infinites songs to place in the top 10 for the American Billboard chart.
Vocalist Sungyeol (Real name: Lee Sungyeol, 19) was planning to be an actor at first. He came out
in MBC drama, Good Job, Good Job and KBS drama, Lets All Cha Cha Cha. Sungyeo says
that even though the role wasnt big, he still had self-pride. Sungyeol stated, While acting, I stood
on a play stage and after singing in the play, I noticed that I liked singing better and added, I
auditioned for this company after getting an interest in singing. Sungyeol said, I want to be a
singer that allows the audience to become one while performing.

L (Real name: Kim Myungsoo, 18), whose unique looks left an impact, was a shopping mall model
and a clothes fitting model prior to debut. L started to chat a lot, While taking the jacket cover
photoshoot, the experience from being a shopping mall model helped a lot. And also said, They
said that while I was a model, the customers for the shopping mall had extended to 2 times more.
He also said, Because I couldnt throw out my dream of being a singer, I auditioned and came into
the company , and, I always have a bit of regret whenever I go on stage. I want to be a singer who
continuously improves after every stage I stand on.
The youngest Sungjong (Real name: Lee Sungjong, 17) is a 2nd year high schooler that is in the
midst of going to Junjoo Performing Arts School. Ever since middle school, he showed off his skills
by dancing on school congratulatory stages. During his 3rd year of middle school, he created a
dream for the future while going to an acting institute. Sungjong said that, My immediate dream
is to become 1st on the main 3 broadcasting stations music programs. While laughing brightly, he
stated, I also want to get the 2010 newcomer award and music video award. I want to be a singer
who has many awards.
Infinite means no limit in English. Like this word, the members all want to extend forward with
no limit. Infinite gave fans anticipation by saying, We will become a group that will fill up our
possibilities with no limit.
Flower Boy= Term used for good looking; handsome boys.
Hyung= Term that younger males user towards older males.
Dongdaemun= A district in South Korea
