Of Faith-Based Actors In International Conflict Resolution." International

The article provides a counterpoint to the argument that religion instigates
violence. There is a focus on usage of religion for peaceful mediation and
resolution among societies. The article also points to evidence of effective usage
of religious peacekeeping. It utilizes a micro approach, focusing on only certain
areas and ignores the bigger global conflicts that havent been resolved. The
argument is flawed and only works for smaller groups or sects.

Produces a multiple step well informed argument stating that religions fail as
peacekeepers. It only finds empirical data to support how peace talks have
prevailed based religious group leaders. The article points out different conflicts
that can be seen between two or more religions and the conflicts within a certain
religion. The article has a detailed and well-informed point of view. There seems
to be no thesis or argument to support one side or the other, but the article

provides different perspectives on the argument that are extremely relevant to the
research topic.

Religion In Conflict Resolution?." Conflict Resolution Quarterly 28.4 (2011):
377-398. Business Source Complete. Web. 30 Oct. 2014.
The article points out the impossibility of removing god from the equation. Using
literature for conflict resolution, psychology and law, the author argues that faith,
religion and spirituality have to be included to provide legitimacy to the process.
The articles argument is logical and strong. It can provide a great area to start the
development of the argument that refutes the claims made by the author.

This article is a study that examines the attitudes of Americans regarding the idea
that religion causes more conflict than peace. The study tried to clarify how
people thought about conflicts and religions after the devastating event of 9/11.
The study is very important to make a personal connection with the audience. The
article also provides some statistics that can prove to be crucial in the paper.

The author, in this article, studies the role of religion in conflicts. The article
suggests that all authentic religions are non-violent. It is only the economic and
political instability in the guise of religious problem that create the conflicts. This
is an important article to review in order to make my argument irrefutable. There
are some exceptions that the narrator doesnt mention like Israel and Palestine.
The article does have a few valid points that cannot be ignored however. It also
has some areas like terrorism that directly correlate to religious violence that the
narrator agrees plays a negative role.
