It is now desirable to cover loco-regional/statewide and international affairs; the appended Daily Alert
covers many topics simultaneously [including the Brooklyn-stabbing video] and it, again, conveys the
long-term import of recent Middle East policies, both correct (ascribable to BB) and, alas, incorrect (c/o
BHO). {Also note the Gruber fact-check results and the fact that, just like ObamaDontCare, the BoehnerBill upload was unsuccessful.

Biden may claim there is No Daylight between Israel and U.S. on Security, but the weekend
transformation regarding whether BHO will impose sanctions on Israel suggests otherwise; whereas
the rumor was initiated on Thursday and sustained on Friday [via Josh Earnest], it was quashed on
Monday [via Jan Psaki]. It seems this was a bridge-too-far, even for a politically-savvy POTUS, and it
again contrasts with Netanyahus major concern, as expressed at the Saban Forum: Increase the
Pressure on Iran to Dismantle Its Nuclear Weapons Capability. Indeed, Rattled by wartime rockets, Israel
plans alternate airport, even as Israel Indicted an American Over Plot to Bomb Muslims. When chatting
with those who appear ignorant of the basics, convey Four Facts That Everyone Should Know About
the Palestinian Arab War on Israel and then summarize a colorful history lesson [followed by a
magnificent speech by the brilliant Ben Hecht]; this may be both inspirational and frustrating; for his
perceptions in 1947-48 captures the attitude of far too many contemporary American Jews. {Finally,
note that Syrian Jewish bibles are at the core of an ownership dispute, recalling the tug-of-war regarding
antiquities that were removed from Baghdad for safe-keeping.}
Protect your free speech rights by exercising them; in 4 minutes, The Lawfare Project
exposes...
The Council on American-Islamic Relations's (CAIR) crusade to suppress free speech
in the United States
Intimidation of the media by the Muslim Brotherhood-linked Islamic Society of
Boston, the mosque attended by the Boston Marathon bombing suspects and
founded by an al-Qaeda operative
The Organization of Islamic Cooperation's (OIC) efforts to impose blasphemy laws
on the West
The U.S. government's purging of counter-terrorism training materials to the
detriment of our own national security interests

The Lawfare Project is a qualified 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit organization dedicated to

providing legal support to persons targeted for speaking publicly about Islamist
terrorism. We are a group of more than 300 lawyers whose mission is to uphold the right to
openly discuss real and imminent threats to our personal and national security.

Know that the Islamic State Claimed a Radioactive Device is Now in Europe, as Moldova arrested 7
suspected of uranium smuggling to make 'dirty bomb.' Know also that Arlene Kushner reports that
Abbas prefers to represent himself as a refugee now, but hes on record as saying that his family left
Sfat voluntarily; this video-hyperlink also contains terse documentation of how Abbas misrepresented
slaughter-culpability during the 1929 Hebron-massacre. These issues were swirling when Kerry faced
with senators who are dubious about the administrations war on the Islamic State; perhaps he may
wish to try to recall a time when it was a positive for US Boots to be on the Ground.

opened, register early with the WZC [and you will immediately be sent a confirmatory email]. THIS IS INSUFFICIENT, for you must also register with the ZOA [Zionist
Organization of America] by sending an e-mail to votezoa@zoa.org or to liz@zoa.org
[and you will be sent information on how to vote when the voting begins in January].

Last nights event *sponsored by the township-GOP, The Abington Township Rockledge Borough
Republican Organization] yielded confirmatory conversations regarding the aforementioned priorities
[launching the PA-Chapter of the Log Cabin Republicans and systematizing multi-level politicaldemographic data management] that had been explored last Friday-p.m. on the county-level with Rep.
Vereb [sponsored by the MCRC, the MontCo Republican Committee], detailed previously. Regarding the
latter initiative, it seems others are [finally!] tooling up nationally [The secret GOP tech summit to plot
2016]. Regarding the former, a meeting will be held this weekend between a Pennsylvanian and the
LCR-execs in D.C., the results of which will be conveyed to Rep. Vereb, as we prep for [what is hoped to
be] a January roll-out [and anyone who knows anyone who would wish to be involved in this effort as
the cc-list lengthens should please contact me promptly.
A PoliticsPA reader-poll demonstrated strong opposition to AG-Kane [who reshuffled
her top staff last week] and another demonstrated strong support for Senator Toomey
[80-20]; this was my explanation for these contrasting results:
It is necessary to provide a bit of perspective when explaining why Pat is
so popular; although no one can speak for Guzzardi, noting that he was
ardently supportive of his primary-challenge to Specter a decade ago, I
would attempt to channel some of what I recall was occurring, for it
presaged growing recognition of his political maturity.
As a disclaimer, I would want to note that I saw him [and his pregnant
wife] @ a picnic deep in Bucks County ~6 years ago, and shared with
them the frustration we were having when trying to find a synagogue
that would invite him to speak; I had advised that he tackle the

537

abortion-issue upfront [details deferred, here], and then discuss his

Fund-for-Growth philosophies.
Nothing worked, perhaps due to the entrenched-lib mentality within
the Jewish Community which, perhaps, is eroding a bit after a
relentlessly anti-Israel POTUS has ruled for more than a half-decade;
Dems eschewed his input locally and nationally, a posture that they
presumably have lived to regret.
*
The morning after his primary-victory, I saw him @ NE-Airport [with
FNCs amazingly-skinny Campaign Carl Cameron+ as he hit five cities
[Philly, Allentown, Harrisburg, Pittsburgh, Erie] in one day; the evening
of his November-victory, we saw him in Allentown [with Dom Giordano
broadcasting-live].
In the interim, throughout his campaign, he combined energy and
intelligence, presaging his immediate acceptance into D.C.s inner-circle
[McConnell presided @ his evening-reception after he was sworn-in];
thereafter, it may be recalled, he was chosen to join those trying to
effect a budgetary Sequester compromise.
Thus, whomever competes with him will have to confront a guy who is
down-to-earth engaging; hes neither slick nor elitist *unlike people like
the POTUS and Gruber].
*
This means that, with regard to his ability to seek common ground [e.g.,
Gun Law], he will credibly recall the ability to cross the aisle
meaningfully; yet, with regard to his principles, he will credibly recall
joining with key-conservatives on major-votes.
I have predicted that Josh Shapiro would be chosen over Joe Sestak
[assuming no one else enters, such as McCord]; I have also predicted
[based upon personal observation of both, over the years] that they
would run a philosophically high-plane competition.
I recognize the existence of x-factors [POTUS-year, PA voting Blue, etc.];
nevertheless, combining the power of incumbency with the legacy of
balanced achievement will be difficult to dislodge.
It seems the wages of sin are not particularly excessive in PA [Ex-judge in porn email
scandal gets $11K monthly pension and Former PHA chief Carl Greene fined $75K].
Meanwhile, intrigue in Happy Valley persists [Judge in Penn State sanctions case strikes
down NCAA's pre-emptive strike on 'duress'; Spanier still collecting a Penn State
paycheck], recalling that the one key-goal is to restore JoePas wins *for this was a
538

vindictive, Draconian action]. One wonders how Wolf will handle the fact that PA
pension costs are to climb by $466M next year unless, of course, the current legislature
[or that which is sworn-in a fortnight before Wolf is] can make itself appear useful.
I held-off commenting on the loss on Sunday by the Iggles until the key-videos were available; note that
the post-game interviews revealed a guy with class [LeSaun McCoy] who dissed himself while reporters
praised him for passing Brian Westbrook as the best running-back in Iggles-History, whereas a guy
without class [Mark Sanchez] blamed the loss on a superior opponent. [This settles the QB-controversy,
and one can expect Foley to emerge by years end.+ Also, one wonders if Chip Kellys staccato-style was
inspired by the portrayal of Mumbles [c/o Dustin Hoffman] in the Dick Tracy flick. Additional pieces
that may be perused prior to the Dallas-Game provide perspectives that may inform off-season efforts
to transform this good team to becoming a top-tier entity [Eagles head coach Chip Kelly: Richard
Sherman is the best corner in the league; Sherman: Eagles Miss DeSean, Current WRs Didn't Threaten
Us; Eagles' Riley Cooper blames Mark Sanchez for key interception: 'He threw the ball'; Kelly Defends
Cooper Amid Disappointing Season; Philly's Biggest Obstacles to Deep Playoff Run; Eagles' Secondary
Remains a Primary Concern; Kelly: 'We Just Need to Execute'; and Will Dallas' Extra Time to Prepare for
Eagles Matter?]. {Also note that, by one vote, Dick Allen was shut out of Hall of Fame; Richie Allen,
from Wampum, PA was a SI-cover-story a half-century ago, and he was [along with Johnny Callison]
perhaps the only bright-spot for a decade [even as he silently fought racism, in the shadow of Jackie
Robinson].
On Facebook, David Sommers has fascinating hyperlinks [Ping-Pong, B&W line-dance,
Animal-Trix and Zumba]; he also captured a rather off-color video of a video *for
which providing a direct hyperlink has been deferred. {Note, also this multi-guitar and
these dancing-reindeer.]
Muslims sued Bensalem to build mosque; Im told their initial petition was denied due to its potential to
create a traffic nightmare on the already-overburdened Hulmeville Rd., and that they have retained a
Jewish lawyer.

Subject: Thoughts - LXXI [Compilation, CIA, Gruber]

https://www.scribd.com/doc/249752929/Thoughts-LXXI-Compilation-CIA-Gruber
This Blast e-mail follows-up on a few items, both with concern [Iran Launched We Love Fighting Israel
Campaign] and levity [Colbert to Obama: 'Why Did You burn the Constitution and become an
Emperor?']; it also contains another compilation of all prior communications [directed @ newbies]. The
Blast list was purged of duplicates but, it must be emphasized, anyone viewing these as spam should
please so-inform; the goal is to provide a meta-analysis of what is occurring, capturing the perspective of
the TEA Party Movement in the process. As themes are noted to recur, key-hyperlinks are unearthed
[e.g., Ferguson protests continue primarily only on the west-coast, PSU president's hands-up gesture
angered lawmaker, Penn president joined 'die in' protest, and SNL Cut This Sketch About The Ferguson
Protests]; what continues to amaze is how brazenly the media-lefties mangle vital-news, such as when
Politico failed to capture the key-point in Boehners budget (funding BHOs Executive Amnesty) while
composing a hum-drum report [The $1.1 trillion spending package reflects Republican priorities]. {Also,
ObamaDontCare Is Increasing Coverage, but Not Access to Health Care, and ObamaDontCare's
Contracting Bonanza is depicted in 8 Charts.}
I participated in The First of Many 2016 Polls; as anticipated, the major competitors are
Cruz vs. Paul, with Walker having separation from the rest of the pack. (Does anyone
care that Rick Santorum is running for president again, claiming this time it will be
different?) Also, that HOWARD DEAN ENDORSED Hillary could provide a kiss-of-death.
Gruber survived (He squirmed. He dodged. He apologized. But Republicans barely laid a glove on him.),
and Politico reported that the "CBS Evening News" was the only network evening news broadcast last
night to cover Jonathan Gruber's testimony on Capital Hill. Note 5 Things Jonathan Gruber Said on
Capitol Hill While Apologizing for 'Stupid' Cracks; he apologized, among other things, for "trying to
conjecture about the political process."
1. Gruber apologized for his remarks multiple times.
2. Gruber contended that he was not, after all, the architect of Obamacare.
3. Gruber repeatedly declined to tell lawmakers how much taxpayers money he took.
4. Gruber knew that many people wouldnt be able to keep their health plans.
5. Gruber said taxes levied on insurance companies would be passed on to consumers.
These Blast e-mails have addressed international affairs [focused on Kurdistan],
national affairs [focused on the midterms], and statewide affairs [focused on Corbett].
Composed since Memorial Day, 2013, they has been compiled in three sets: [1]AntiBHO e-mails [I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, XI, XII, XIII, XIV] remitted during the first
half-year *focused on BHOs Scandal-Sheet and the effort to defund ObamaDontCare

XIII, XIV, XV, XVI, XVII, XVIII, XIX, XX, XXI, XXII, XXIII, XXIV, XXV, XXVI, XXVII, XXVIII, XXIX
and XXX] remitted from December-13 through September-14 *focused initially on
Guzzardi and morphed into analyzing myriad other issues related to BHOs overall
effortsdomestic and globalto destroy American Exceptionalism]; and [3]
Thoughts e-mails [I, II, III, IV, V and VI] composed during the past few months. {They
total 4077 pages *1051 Anti-BHO + 2492 Action-Items + 534 Thoughts+.540

The currently-accumulating file will be uploaded as soon as its size hits

~2 megs; anyone glutton-for-punishment may request a copy of any
document [composed in Microsoft WORD]. {Graphics and topical-levity
have been invoked sparingly, opting for visuals that match topics
covered, in an effort to avoid inadvertent spamming.}
In many respects, the current Thoughts are a natural outgrowth of Anti-BHO efforts
that conveyed Action-Items; information is personalized, so it is assumed the reader
both has basic-knowledge and the ability to superimpose new-data thereupon. It is
simply too burdensome to recapitulate; rather, conclusions have been cumulative.
Finally, throughout, info-received has been turned-around expeditiously and, of course,
submitted-ideas that could undermine conclusions herein have been duly disseminated.
Overnight, reaction to the super-partisan Senate CIA Report [which some view as retribution for
FEINSTEIN having been subject to the CIAs surveillance] was predictable [noting that opponents
equated water-boarding with torture rather than portraying it more precisely as an enhanced
interrogation technique that the reader could then self-classify]. The following has been reformulated,
primarily invoking a Politico newsletter.
TORTURE REPORT CREATED DEEP DIVIDES BETWEEN SUPPORTERS & OPPONENTS.
Senator Dianne Feinstein was still speaking on the Senate floor Tuesday morning about
the Intelligence Committee's report excoriating the C.I.A.'s interrogation program when
a new website went live. Its name was self-explanatory: ciasavedlives.com. The site,
created by a dozen former top officials of the Central Intelligence Agency, was only one
element in a broad counterattack against the long-awaited Senate report, which says
the program, which is now defunct, violated American ideals by torturing Al Qaeda
suspects and got little useful information in return. The program's outspoken defenders
say the C.I.A. was advised that its methods were not torture, that the program played a
critical role in dismantling Al Qaeda and that the interrogators deserve praise, not
vilification.
CIA Supporters
"Does Torture Work? The C.I.A.'s Claims and What the Committee Found" listed eight
cases cited in the report where the C.I.A. made the case that its tactics thwarted plots
and led to the capture of terrorists, and how the committee's report undercut those
accounts ... Killing of Osama bin Laden ... Thwarting of Dirty Bomb and Capture of Jos
Padilla ... Thwarting of the Karachi Plots ... Thwarting of 'Second Wave' Plot and
Discovery of Al Ghurabaa Group ... Identification, Capture and Arrest of Iyman Faris ...
Thwarting of the Heathrow Airport and Canary Wharf Plot ... Capture of Ramzi bin alShibh ... Capture of Khalid Shaikh Mohammed.
John Brennan [breaking with BHO] supported enhanced interrogation techniques
Ex-CIA Directors claimed Interrogations Saved Lives [per a WSJ op-ed by former CIA
Directors George J. Tenet, Porter J. Goss and Michael V. Hayden and former CIA Deputy
Directors John E. McLaughlin, Albert M. Calland and Stephen R. Kappes]. "The program
541

was invaluable in three critical ways: It led to the capture of senior al Qaeda operatives,
thereby removing them from the battlefield. It led to the disruption of terrorist plots
and prevented mass casualty attacks, saving American and Allied lives. It added
enormously to what we knew about al Qaeda as an organization and therefore informed
our approaches on how best to attack, thwart and degrade it."
Michael Hayden Is Not Sorry. Michael Hayden said it is untrue, per the Report, that no
CIA officer [including Directors George Tenet and Porter Goss] briefed the president on
the specific enhanced interrogation techniques before April 2006; Bush-43 personally
approved the waterboarding of Abu Zubaydah in 2002, as per his book. The Report
omitted the fact that BHO refused to give the Senate Intelligence Committee any White
House documents [based upon the separation of powers and executive privilege]. The
only fact of which he didn't know was the location of the black sites.
The Federalist: The Senate Democrats Torture Report Is About Politics, Not Justice.
CIA Opponents
Obama: CIA Rushed to Respond to Sept. 11 Attacks, but the report needed to be
released to 'make sure that we don't make those mistakes again; he is concerned about
the prospect of backlash against Americans overseas.
Biden: Public release of bombshell torture report is 'badge of honor' that will
strengthen the United States, adding 'Every country, every country, has engaged in
activities somewhere along the line that it has not been proud of.'
ANDREW SULLIVAN: "The great achievement of this report is its meticulousness. No one
can now claim that these torture sessions gave us anything of any worth, while damning
this country for decades to come as the worst human rights abuser in the West."
JEFFREY GOLDBERG: "The next time a group of Islamist terrorists succeeds in killing large
numbers of Americans-and such an attack should be expected-it is important for those
who are in positions of power (very much including the writers and commentators who
shape popular thinking) to keep in mind that the goal of the United States is to
neutralize the threat, and not to seek retribution for the sake of retribution."
--R. Jeffrey Smith ?(@rjsmithcpi): "Bush himself expressed discomfort when shown pic
of detainee in diaper chained to ceiling & forced to defecate on self, sez Intell Rpt."
JOHN McCAIN on the Senate floor: "The American people must know when the values
that define our nation are intentionally disregarded by our security policies. They must
be able to make informed judgments about whether those policies and the personnel
who supported them were justified in compromising our values; whether they served a
greater good; or whether, as I believe, they stained our national honor, did much harm
and little practical good."
DAVID IGNATIUS: "This is a political document, not a dispassionate history, but that's
part of its value: There simply is no way for a democracy to get past a trauma like the
542

interrogation issue without an honest public accounting. It's a strange healing process,
ripping off the scab, exposing our wounds; perhaps it's like the self-flagellation of the
early saints."
13 shocking moments in the Senate torture report.

Subject: Thoughts - LXXII [CRomnibus, Kurdistan, Cruz]

https://www.scribd.com/doc/249860135/Thoughts-LXXII-CRomnibus-Kurdistan-Cruz
To maximize the focus of this Blast e-mail, the attachments encompass a summary of what Rush said
yesterday and a reformulation of what was included in yesterdays Daily-Alert regarding events in the
Middle East [amplified a bit by subsequent hyperlinks, but insufficient, for it failed to include an
explanation as to why Only Obama forced Israel not to build]; below this discussion of the CRomnibus
bill is a brief Kurdistan-related update, for BHO persists in promoting wrongheaded policies.
Again illustrative of how profoundly Penn States travail affects all citizens *including
those who eschewed Corbett, as Id predicted for 2+ years via PoliticsPA, oral-pleas and,
ultimately, promotion of Guzzardi as a working-hypothesis stalking-horse for a primarychallenge], note the latest legal machinations [a New criminal complaint was filed
against Sandusky, Judge says no to mediation in Penn State lawsuit, Some Penn State
trustees want meeting to consider joining NCAA lawsuit, Group split].
This clears the way to elucidate what promises to be crunch-time in D.C. for Boehner and the GOPEstablishment [and Mike Fitzpatrick]. Republicans say they have the votes, but should they fund the
Presidents unconstitutional actions, they will be violating their oath to the constitution, for the
Republican Budget Deal Spits in the Face of Voter Anger.
All those people who refused last year even to CONSIDER a primary-challenge [because
of their friendship with Fitz+ must now confront their consciences *and how he has
abused their senses of loyalty]. When I saw him a year ago @ the $-raising banquet for
the Holocaust Awareness Museum and Education Center, he muttered to me [sotto
voce] that I should not do anything I would later regret; I have no regrets for predicting
he would betray the base when voting to fund ObamaDontCare and, now, when
poised to vote to fund Amnesty. [We politely chatted a few months ago @ an event
sponsored by the Republican Jewish Coalition at which he, alas, demurred instead of
adopting a pre-election forthright posture on Illegals.] Hope he can be salvaged is fading
rapidly, notwithstanding privately-received reassurances that he has heard us.
Because it is so mandatory to gain an appreciation of what [lame-duck, and therefore, free+ Rep. Mike
Fitzpatrick plans to do in a few hours, it is desirable to remit ANOTHER notification focused on this issue;
multiple conservative-entities are bombarding activists with e-mails [and, in the case, of Heritage Action,
phone calls+ pleading that we tell your Members of Congress to vote against funding Obama's amnesty
because, per Tea Party Patriots, that we Demand Congressmen Defund Executive Amnesty. Currently,
per Drudge, we are confronted with REPUBLICAN BETRAYAL: OBAMACARE FULLY FUNDED - AMNESTY
TOO! Here is the lie-of-the-land:
On Thursday, the House Votes to Fund Obama's Amnesty via the so-called "cromnibus."
This $1.1 trillion, 1603-page bill would fund most of the federal government through
September 30, 2015 while extending funding for the Department of Homeland Security
(DHS) until February 27, 2015. This is a dereliction of duty, plain and simple. The

545

spending bill does nothing to block President Obama's unilateral, unlawful executive
amnesty.
One need only note the reaction of key-players to recognize whats happening; whereas Conservatives
Expressed Anger That Amnesty Not Defunded In Omnibus ['The Fix Is In'], the White House is 'Gratified'
That Republicans Are Not Blocking Amnesty, perhaps because Republicans Secretly Want Obama's
Amnesty. Indeed, the Boehner Omnibus Gives Social Security Benefits To Illegal Aliens Under Obama
Amnesty and the CRomnibus Contains Crony Kickbacks for Blue Cross. We know BHO has the ability to
cost-shift and, thus, allowing any funding during the next two months will permit him to create facts
that he will later claim are immutable [AND c/w Congressional action]. Sarah Palin Threw Down Gauntlet
to GOP: Block Obama Amnesty Funds or Face 'America's Wrath' because If Republicans Don't Fight Now,
They Never Will. {Also, know that Obama Blamed Conservative Talk Shows For American Anger Over
Executive Amnesty.}
Note trends in updated hyperlinks c/o Breitbart: Ramos: 'Pressure from Journalists' May
Have Changed Obama on Exec Amnesty; Jeff Sessions Pledged to Fight Executive
Amnesty, Sheriffs Detail How 'Every County Eventually Will Become Border County'; Top
Democrat Admits: Not One Member Of House Rules Committee Actually Read Omnibus
Bill Before Hearing; BLOOD IN THE WATER: TEAMSTERS, JIMMY HOFFA, JR. TO
CONGRESS: KILL THE OMNIBUS BILL; Boehner's Omnibus Uses Budget Gimmicks To Bust
Through Spending Caps Set By Congress--AGAIN; Hal Rogers Falsely Claims Omnibus
Doesn't Break Budget Caps in Congressional Testimony; Boehner Ally Admitted the
Omnibus Bill Was Crafted in Literally a Cigar Smoke-Filled Back Room; Pelosi Voices
Concerns with Omnibus Package; Tom Coburn threatens spending deal over defense bill.
{Also, note that BHO on Colbert [complete] remains hysterical upon second-viewing.}
The Dems are currently engaged in misdirection; while Harry Reid Blames Obamacare for Midterm
Losses ['We Never Recovered'] and Kathleen Sebelius claims Obamacare Needs a Name Change; the
Dems are Prepping the Media for 2016 Anti-GOP Onslaught. {Also, know that Support for gun rights
reaches highest levels in 20 years, for a Pew Poll showed Americans Want Gun Rights, Not Gun Control;
Beloit, Wisconsin Police Chief Reversed Course and will no Longer Asking to Search Homes for Guns and
Piers Morgan admitted he Was 'Too Aggressive' in Pursuit of Gun Control.}

Time portrayed runner-up for Person of the Year Massoud Barzani as an The
Opportunist because, when the Islamic State threw the Middle East jigsaw
puzzle into the air, the Kurdish leader reached for a piece; although the lingo in
this piece is patronizing, its great he was noted.
I weighed-in by citing a series of articles co-authored with Dr.
Sherkoh Abbas, President of the Kurdistan National Assembly of
Syria which explore [as per selected titles] why the USA must
provide exclusive support for these friends of the West: America
Must Prioritize Arming the Kurdseven if it Antagonizes Iran and
Turkey [Israpundit]; America Must Recognize Kurdistan [Jewish
Policy Center]; NATO must arm the Kurds, but only the proAmerican Kurds [The Hill]; NATO Must Help the Kurds Now
546

[National Review]; Arm Kurdistan to Defeat the Islamic

State...ASAP! [American Thinker]; and The Invisible People [Front
Page Magazine]. It is noted that The Islamic State executed [inter
alia] its top Mosul official for espionage; Kurdish sources reported
that this group is under increasing pressure from Iraqi forces and
international airstrikes.
Omnibus Gives $500 Million Worth of Weapons, Aid to 'Appropriately Vetted' Syrian
Rebels, despite the fact that the U.S. Has Given Up On 'Pro-West' 'Moderate' Syrian
Rebel Groups; per prior articles, this allows for funding the Free Syrian Army that is led
by people who despise both Kurds and Israel.
In response to the latest POTUS-16 survey, a reader noted the GOPs deep bench of Governors *who are
generally better prepared to exercise proper executive authority than are US-Senators+ and, thus,
proposed Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker *won three elections in four years+ for POTUS and Mexico
Governor Susana Martinez *tough-minded Latina+ for Veep. He assessed three senators thusly:
Floridas Mario Rubio has the necessary foreign policy bona fides *reference?+, Texas Ted Cruz is
more sizzle than steak *despite his leadership of the defunding effort last fall+ and Kentuckys Rand Paul
has the crazy father in the attic problem and isnt tough enough on foreign policy *concur+.
My response: Martinez/Rubio are problematic on Illegals; Cruz is consistently correct on
all the issues [and often before others even react], perhaps due to his having employed
Amanda Carpenter for communications. [His latest: Sen. Ted Cruz: 'Torture is Wrong.
Unambiguously. Period. The End.'] Thus, Ill support him and Walker *in either order,
depending upon how the primary-voters rule], assuming Walkers foreign policy is
sufficiently muscular; the priority is to oppose the Establishment-types. [TRUMP may be
SERIOUS, but he doesnt harbor sufficient legal gravitas, and I still feel Hillary wont run
(State Dept. Stonewalled Hillary Clinton's Files from AP's FOIA Request), particularly if,
as predicted the Afghan Military will Collapse after American Combat Troops Exit.]

Subject: Thoughts - LXXIII [CRomnibus and Fitzpatrick]

https://www.scribd.com/doc/249950293/Thoughts-LXXIII-CRomnibus-and-Fitzpatrick
Again, there is so much happening that its necessary to deal separately with the CRomnibus debacle
[MERRY CHRISTMAS: House approves $1.1 trillion bill financing government], and then to update myriad
observations *personal and otherwise+; most of the news isnt uplifting, however, as reflected in Rushs
unprecedented perseveration [in anguish]. First, it is necessary to debunk the cinema created by the
reportage of a Dem-split, for BHO got his priority and will, later-on, pay-off the lesser-concerns if
possible; he has done everything possible to transform America ASAP. Dem-Hypocrisy has been amply
documented, so a media-portrayal of balance was created by efforts to claim the two major insertions
by Boehner slighted libs *If the Government Shuts Down, Blame Nancy Pelosi for protesting
liberalization of Dodd-Frank banking rules] and truly angered conservatives [Tea party movement joined
Dems in fuming over campaign finance plan].
The structure of this Blast e-mail is to distill the electoral-import of what BHO has
done [grossly under-reported], then to provide the perceptions received overnight c/o
two readers [and my instant-reactions thereto], then to distill my postings aimed @
Mike Fitzpatrick [inclusive of destroying meek counter-arguments], next to summarize
what happened [from three disinterested perspectives] and, finally, to explore the
repercussions of what transpired.
Senator Mike Lee explained how Obamas Amnesty Gives Illegals A Fast-Track To the Voting Booth
Obamas amnesty allows illegals with U.S.-born children to briefly leave the country,
perhaps for a business meeting in Canada, and then be given advanced parole by
border officials that lets them legally return to the United States.
Once they have legally returned under advanced parole, they can be immediately
sponsored for a green card and citizenship by their adult child, he said.
That process bypasses U.S. law that requires illegals to leave the country for 10 years
before their U.S.-born adult children can sponsor them for citizenship.
My increasingly-fevered e-mails started *chronologically+ with how I set the table in the prior Blast
e-mail:
All those people who refused last year even to CONSIDER a primary-challenge [because of their
friendship with Fitz] must now confront their consciences [and how he has abused their
senses of loyalty]. When I saw him a year ago @ the $-raising banquet for the Holocaust
Awareness Museum and Education Center, he muttered to me [sotto voce] that I should not do
anything I would later regret; I have no regrets for predicting he would betray the base when
voting to fund ObamaDontCare and, now, when poised to vote to fund Amnesty. [We politely
chatted a few months ago @ an event sponsored by the Republican Jewish Coalition at which
he, alas, demurred instead of adopting a pre-election forthright posture on Illegals.] Hope he

can be salvaged is fading rapidly, notwithstanding privately-received reassurances that he has

heard us.
I then remitted a series of communications focused on Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick to people who
might be able to help him to see the light. People on the bcc-list could invoke these data as
inspiration for whatever they might do, and people on the cc-list were derived from my having dustedoff a Blast e-mail list that had been cobbled-together more than a year ago; it had led to generation of
three Press-Releases that had reflected the conjoint-view [unique nationally] of the leaders [locally,
regionally, statewide, and nationally] of the major components of the TEA [Taxed Enough Already] Party
Movement regarding the initiative to defund ObamaDontCare (with Mike Vereb and Lois Kaneshiki
viewed as people others should note as having been recipients thereof). When Mike violated his
campaign-pledge to devote total-energies to fighting ObamaDontCare *repeal, defund, replace+, I was
displeased and, frankly, carried the torch of this posture consistently and persistently thereafter. Now,
as chickens were returning home to roost, they were invoked to attempt to influence his behavior, as
per my initial salvo *when informed Mike could, perhaps, meet with us fat chance+.
I care not what any other Congress-Person says or does; the focus is solely upon Mike,
and it seems there will be insufficient time prior to the vote to meet with him [as was
predictable].
Whatever give-and-take opinions that exist regarding last weeks show-vote are
IRRELEVANT [as per Heritage Foundation, and others]; the key-intervention is via the
PURSE.
He must not fund BHOs unconstitutional granting of Immunity to Millions of Illegals!

Subject: RE: it's crunch-time, and details have been provided via multiple "Blast" e-mails
in follow-up during the past week.
This is B.S.
Comments interspersed*recognizing the tendency to engage in misdirection which, on a
certain level, is DISGUSTING in-and-of-itself]:
It is difficult if not impossible to force the Executive to enforce
immigration laws by cutting or rearranging the budget process.
Even if its difficult, it can be done; the key, here, is to STOP him from creating laws
that he wants to enforce [although it really would be nice to get him to uphold his oathof-office].
549

"Cutting" money from various ICE functions would only diminish their
capacity, would it not.
The only $ to be subject to "Cutting" would be that focused on one ICE function,
implementation of the unconstitutional Executive Order.
The only exception would be if Obama's budget specifically earmarks
money to, for example, help illegals cross the border .... or to violate
their visa.
Fine, Ill accept that exception that explicitly bans financing BHOs Amnesty *workcards being printed, etc.].
Congress has already (in previous budgets) designated set amounts of $
to Homeland Security - ICE .... and those agencies have capacity to
spend and move that designated $ around.
Yes, but THIS budget need not fund NEW cost-centers related specifically to
implementation of the Amnesty for MILLIONS.
I would suggest the way to stop these rogue ICE employees (and the ICE
administrators) from refusing to enforce our immigration laws would be
to threaten them with: firing ... impeachment .... contempt of Congress
This is a classic straw-dog argument; do anything else your heart desires, but DO NOT
FUND BHOS IMMUNITY!!!
Lastly, the continuing resolution passed today, regardless of what the
House Republicans can force thru, is a wholly inadequate platform with
which to stop this rogue President.
This argument is trite, used each time GOP-Leadership wanted to kick-the-can-downthe-road; the time to act is NOW, for a House-initiated funding-bill is THE perfectlyadequate platform to accomplish what most Americans want, notwithstanding the
rhetoric that hes a rogue *or worse+.
Senate Democrats/Harry Reid are still able (until next month) to hold
this nation hostage by refusing to include GOP laws.
Fine, lets bring it on, with Americans totally behind us [as per the encyclical issued a
month ago, via a plebiscite that most viewed as a tsunami].
In January, it will become clear that it is Obama, and Obama alone, who
is the destructive force in this sordid scenario.
I care not about January and postulates related to the blame-game; the time to act is
NOW!
550

This was how Dave replied [and how I reacted thereto]:

We are envisioning a fire-storm from the GOP-base which could even yield dethroning
the Speaker.
It may be recalled that, one fine Friday in October, 2013 [if memory serves], there was a
universal cheer emanating from the House-GOP after it initially passed bills that would
defund ObamaDontCare; although eroded *when the faux-Debt Ceiling Deadline was
deviously admixed and when I therefore argued that Congress could do nothingand
then allow all the tax-$ collected for ObamaDontCare to fund the debt+, such an
atmosphere CAN be re-created IF Boehner reflects the will of the people and unifies
the GOP [perhaps, as never before] to DO THE RIGHT THING!
In response to input from David Sommers [via three distinct e-mails]:
"B.S." -- are you saying my comments are Bob Sklaroff ... or bull s***t
Your comments [presumably channeling what Mike had told you, so youre not being
held responsible] were indeed the LATTER.
What specifically should congress cut .... or add .... that would force Obama to
enforce the law?
The House should ADD an amendment that explicitly precludes funding any element of
what BHO [via ICE] has mandated via his Unconstitutional Executive Order [including, in
particular, the printing of work-permits].
Yes, does the budget resolution specifically authorize the printing of ss cards for
illegals?
If not, the only thing to do would be to add a rider specifically prohibiting yhe
printing of new green cards or ss cards.
As per my Blast e-mail that emerged @ 8:57 a.m., Boehner Omnibus Gives Social
Security Benefits To Illegal Aliens Under Obama Amnesty.
Im open to whatever rider you would envision that would accomplish these specific
purposes.
Next, I summarized a reformulated viewpoint, directed @ Mike:
Im going to be as direct as possible, gratified at the fact that a response was smokedout *perhaps from Boehners cigar-filled room].
We KNOW we cant force ICE to enforce the law, we KNOW the Senate is still Demcontrolled, we KNOW BHO will blame the GOP for a governmental mini-slow-down [of
~14% of governmental operations].

551

All of that is irrelevant; the focus is trained SOLELY on the Unconstitutional Executive
Order and the RESPONSIBILITY of Congress [specifically, the House] to initiate spendingbills.
We wanted to defund ObamaDontCare, and subsequent events vindicated our
rectitude, as even Dems claim its been a disaster; NOW, armed with the voters verdict,
we want to defund the avalanche of $-sucking Illegals, with implications on all levels of
American History hanging in the balance.
Mike, DO THE RIGHT THING!!!
Finally, I attempted to invoke nostalgia so as to provide a paradigm for how Mike might achieve a sense
of redemption:
You requested specificity, you will get specificity:
Note this excerpt from Politico: "Congress Is About to Block the Feds from
Cracking Down on Medical Marijuana," by Tim Burger (!) for VICE: "Tucked at
the bottom of page 213 of the latest omnibus appropriations bill, a provision
states that '[n]one of the funds made available in this Act to the Department of
Justice may be used... to prevent such States from implementing their own
State laws that authorize the use, distribution, possession, or cultivation of
medical marijuana,' listing 32 states, as well as the District of Columbia, where
the amendment would apply. ... Nearly 50 percent of Americans now live in a
state or territory where medical marijuana is legal in some form."
Thus, an amendment could invoke identical lingo *None of the funds made available in
this Act to the Department of Homeland Security may be used...+; Im certain that Rep.
Trey Gowdy or Sen. Jeff Sessions could easily complete the sentence.
*
{Correction: The House passed the bill to defund ObamaCare in September, after which
time a celebratory atmosphere erupted [note photo (vide infra) and 2-minute video].}
Know that those on the bcc-list can perceive these e-mails as providing the desired
Intel that, undoubtedly, is not isolated to the colloquy between Dave and Fitzand
then can strategize accordingly.

552

Speaker of the House John Boehner, R-Ohio, celebrates.

Subsequently, Dave remitted two flawed hyperlinks.
First, he claimed a Government shutdown would not stop Obama on immigration; the
focus was on defunding. Second, he claimed, If you're gonna start a bar fight, why
wouldnt you wait till you have all your people there to help; he forgot that irreversible
events could transpire in the interim.
A reader remitted overnight an e-mail focused on precisely what served as my target throughout
yesterday [vide infra], not having received any of the above:
Fitz is most likely smirking over his bamboozling of the local, spectacularly ineffective
Bucks County Tea Parties.
Same for Boehner and the Republicans who are far too liberal and therefore closer to
Obama than they publically admit.
The Republicans are not the friends some people think they are. They are just not
interested in being right-wing or supporting Israel. Plus they really like Obamacare. Its
socialist like they are.
Liberals like liberalism. Its a tautology but that means its correct and that the
Republicans are Liberals except for abortion.
Anyhow, the Left is still running and ruining America.
*
A reader captured the effect of overall proceedings, in an e-mail received overnight:
What the f*%# just happened in the House tonight! The Repubs had a chance to defund
this illegal amnesty travesty (our voices were heard in November, or so I thought) and
what do they do...vote for the 1.1T "ominous" bill. This is another goodie bag filled bill
(for both sides) that was not given proper time to be read or debated. The long-term
projection is going to be dire for conservatives and for the rest of the country. We are
not going to see another conservative dominated House/Senate, and any Repub that
will be nominated by the party for the Presidency will be a RINO. The conservatives who
expected our representatives to fight the progressive agenda in this bill should be
enraged that we did not defund the govt. until the bill was amended (after Jan. 2015).
Additionally, there is no chance in hell that the ACA will be repealed now.
Our elected representatives no longer represent their constituency or the constitution.
How can we have a President making ad hoc legislation via the executive pen and allow
this to pass for a government for the people, by the people? Our leadership has been
corrupted, our political process has been corrupted and our constitution is being
corrupted. I have lost faith in the ability of the American people to awaken from their
slumber and get fully incensed with their government! People Magazine-reading
553

douche bags procreating the next generation of People e-magazine subscribers has
created the situation we find ourselves, because we elect idiots on both sides of the
aisle to govern us.
John Adams and the rest of the Founding Fathers are rolling in their graves because the
experiment they were willing to sacrifice their lives for is dying, simply because their
progeny became lazy and apathetic. I am fucking pissed!
He channeled my angst, but he over-reached while ventilating disgust; it is now even more mandatory
to nominate Cruz/Walker [assuming Cruz approves of his foreign policy] for POTUS-16, an achievement
that can reasonably be anticipated; remember that the panoply of RINOs can easily be viewed as
[individually] inherently flawed [Bush, Christie, Martinez, Romney, Rubio, Ryan] and that other
competitors are has-beens [Huckabee, Santorum] and/or obscure [Brewer, Corker, Fiorina, Gilmore,
Graham, Jindal, King, Martinez, Perry, Pataki, Snyder]. Carson is inexperienced and bad on 2nd
Amendment, Bolton would be a great SoState, and Rand Paul is terrible on foreign policy [and has that
unshakable crazy father in the attic problem+; Walker can probably dominate two other governors
*although people tell me Pence is great and Kasich is OK+ in the early semifinals component of the
race. One hopes that the field can be winnowed-down rapidly; once the establishment settles-in upon
its stalking-horse, it will be necessary to KO that individual and then breathe easier.
Otherwise, he was totally on-point, particularly with regard to how totally detached the
political parties have become from what the Founders/Framers had envisioned.
This is what transpired [c/o the National Journal, the National Review, and The Hill (respectively)]:
House Republican [LEADERSHIP] narrowly cleared a major hurdle Thursday morning in
their race for the exits, winning a key procedural vote on a massive spending bill to keep
the government afloat. Passage of the rule governing debate for the "CROmnibus" bill
by a razor-thin 214-212 margin means that the measure can come up for what should
be an easier final vote Thursday afternoon. The rule passed only after two Republicans,
Reps. Kerry Bentivolio and Marlin Stutzman, were persuaded by leaders to switch their
votes from no to yes. Every Democrat voted against the rule, but several are expected
to back the underlying bill. Still, GOP leaders are considering a fallback plan to bring up a
shorter continuing resolution if the larger bill fails to pass Thursday.
Earlier today, House Republican Leaders barely escaped having the procedural "rule"
setting up debate on the CRomnibus voted down. Conservative stalwarts refused to
enable this flawed legislation from coming to the floor. Unfortunately, the
circumstances surrounding that vote are now suspect. National Review is reporting that
certain Representatives were promised that the cromnibus would be pulled
immediately if they voted with their Leadership. That promise appears to have been
discarded and Barack Obama is now personally calling lawmakers asking for their
support. This is no way to run the House of Representatives.
The White House backs the bill and has mounted an intense campaign to save it that
included a trip by White House chief of staff Denis McDonough to Capitol Hill. President
Obama and members of his administration have been furiously working the phones to
try and save the funding bill ahead of a government shutdown at midnight.
554

This is how an organizer for Phillys Tea Party Patriots concisely conceptualized the situation:
There is nothing in this bill that limits the executive amnesty action.
The Department of Homeland Security is being funded through February 27, 2015.
The administration will take quick steps to award contracts for execution of executive
amnesty and begin the process before February.
The administration has already contracted for a facility in Crystal City and advertized
1000 positions to manage the amnesty program.
Once there is a structure in place and registration begins, there is no way of reversing it.
Here is how a Lib expressed approval for this event *to which I replied Your stance creates USA as
magnet+:
So the question, assuming you have a short-term perspective of 2016, is whether they
are being fast-tracked from green card to citizenship. If your concern truly is elections,
you can't vote with just a green card. What exactly does the language in the bill say?
Also, while it is a lot of people, apparently the policy is limited to adults who have kids
with green cards or citizenship.
I can support actions that strongly enforce the border moving forward. But, rational
policies must be adopted to deal with the clear reality of the people already here. I do
not favor deporting them all. Forget the social (family and humanitarian) issues for now
- it is not a practical solution. I understand (although I do not fully agree with) the desire
not to fast-track citizenship.
Perhaps a compromise is making the path from green card to citizenship different /
harder. Maybe, there are tweaks in what benefits are permissible under a green card.
All of that is different from a stance that favors mass deportation.
Here are a few expressions of anguish from RedState [seriatim]:

The GOP: For Wall Street, Not Main Street - Sixteen Republicans voted against the rule
on the CROmnibus. They threw the process into chaos and sent Republican leaders
scrambling. Barack Obama had to send his Chief of Staff up to the Hill to convince
Democrats to go along with it. And ultimately we got a clear picture of where

[CRomnibus, BenghaziGate, CIA, Walker, Toomey, PA-Legislature, Exodus-Movie, Phillies, Israel]

https://www.scribd.com/doc/249968700/Thoughts-LXXIV-CRomnibus-BenghaziGate-CIA-WalkerToomey-PA-Legislature-Exodus-Movie-Phillies-Israel
Having provided input regarding the CRomnibust event yesterday [portrayed by the media as
Congress Avoided Shutdown+, it is necessary to recognize the permanent damage created in the
process, as Conservatives rage against the machine [for opponents of Obamas immigration action had
hoped the GOP would use budget to push back harder on issue]. The House passed the $1.1 trillion
spending bill after a week of drama, as 57 Democrats crossed the aisle to vote with 162 Republicans to
help pass the measure; Wall St. got its way. [PALIN: 'Stinks to high heaven.'] Very often, the mortallywounded animal will twitch prior to its demise, a phenomenon that was just exhibited via receipt of an
e-mail that defended the behavior of Fitz:
The lib-Dems and Pelosi revolted on this budget because it cuts discretionary spending
to the lowest its been in years - especially reduction/cuts to the IRS & EPA, a good
thing!
,This was cinema *designed to press the ethical egalitarian button+
for, as noted, the ability to pour millions of new voters into the votingpool within a few years was transcendent.}
The vote also fixed many of the military cuts Obama had forced during sequester also
a good thing.
{Ditto, particularly noting how pacifist-BHO is mismanaging the military.}
DHS immigration ICE is only funded till Feb, which doesnt give Obama enough time to
enact his illegal amnesty.
{TOTALLY incorrect; BHO is working apace to register everyone ASAP,
for the irreversible implementation of this program has already started.}
In January, the House and Senate will vote to directly vote down Obama's illegal exec
orders on immigration. Several Dem Senators have said they are opposed to Obama on
this and will have a chance to fulfill that promise.
{Yeah, right, tell me another one [just like the GOP-Establishment lied to
a Congressman to get him to flip, just prior to declaring the polls
closed].}
NOTHING, at this point, can be envisioned that will absolve Congressman Mike
Fitzpatrick of culpability for his contribution to the destruction of America as we know
it. NOTHING! {I just rebuked the author of this e-mail after he called to claim he had
convinced Dom Giordano *1210-Radio] of the rectitude of the CRomnibus; after some
give-and-take, he said he finally understood that (as per what I have said/written
557

incessantly for years) all you want is a rider stopping BHO from implementing his
Executive Order providing immunity [DUH!]. After having discarded a few more
twitches *e.g., you get what you can get doesnt entail ignoring Article I, Section 8
responsibilities], he expressed the hope that the Dem-Controlled Senate will append a
rider that would preclude use of any funds to implement BHOs Executive Order *sure,
right, alternate-universe, gotcha!].} I told this Fitz-sycophant that he should read this
Blast e-mail prior to calling me back, and he should then share the guilt that will
forever provide Fitz a personally-engraved albatross (on Thomas.gov) as a legacy.

In any case, this Blast e-mail mops-up items occurring from the local to the international levels, noting
that the Republican Jewish Coalition comprehensively analyzed inter alia two of them that are discussed
further, infra [Senate CIA Report is a Partisan Attack and Surprise! Iran is Cheating on Nuclear
Agreements]; as had been noted on Monday, each evening this week conveyed grist for efforts to assess
political forces that will be unleashed next year:
Monday [Abington-GOP] already discussed were township-level events and
MontCo/State/National challenges; also, I was told that BHOs ideology has not yet
infected the Customs Bureaucrats.
Tuesday [Zuhdi Jasser] Im told (by two attendees) that he predictably presented the
moderate Islam viewpoint to a polite audience that, alas, wasnt provided any actionitems *c/o Stand with Us+, contrasting with ZOAs Action-Alert due to the fact that
Scholastic, Inc. Published a Children's Book that Omitted Israel from a Map of the
Middle East.

Thursday the TPM (very much alive!) advises people to be aware of upcoming events:

[2/5/2015]; CPAC @ Gaylord Convention Center in Maryland [2/25-28/2015]; and PA
Leadership Conference @ Harrisburg Radisson [4/17-18/2015].
This is a distillation of the current status of BenghaziGate:
The Second Benghazi Select Committee Hearing on Reviewing Efforts to Secure U.S.
Diplomatic Facilities and Personnel determined that the Accountability Review Boards
558

(ARB) 29 recommendations have not been implemented to secure High Threat Posts
following the 9/11-12/14 Benghazi terrorist attacks.
The panel of State Department representatives [Gregory B. Starr, Assistant Secretary of
State for Diplomatic Security and Steve A. Linick, Inspector General] did not explain why
the DoS and the CIA were there; that the latter was ignorant suggests that BHO has
effectively emasculated internal oversight mechanisms.
Ken Timmerman tweeted an observation that is typical of BHOs reign *augmented by
the observation that Liniks responses were often at variances with Starrs remarks+:
Greg Starr throws Chris Stevens under the bus, 'we had a little too much confidence in
the chief of mission' to determine security."
Starr said Anne W. Patterson [Assistant Secretary of the Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs]
should explain why American personnel were in Benghazi; Patterson was Ambassador to
Egypt at the time of the Benghazi attack, when Muslim Brotherhood jihadists had
penetrated the compound in Cairo in a protest organized by the brother of AQ leader
Ayman al Zawahiri.
Inasmuch as the State Department has failed to release Hillary Clintons official papers
[despite a FOIA request] and inasmuch as Sharyl Atkisson reported that aides had
allegedly been vetting emails and documents related to Benghazi [under the direction of
former Near East Bureau aide, Ray Maxwell in a basement office in the State
Department], Rep. Trey Gowdy [over the objections of Dems] said Hillary Clinton is a
witness we would like to talk to.
CIA Director John Brennan offered a defense [during a rare televised press conference] of his agency's
Bush-era interrogation practices, but conceded there had been missteps and that it's "unknowable"
whether so-called enhanced interrogation techniques yielded key intelligence. In a number of cases, CIA
employees used techniques that "had not been authorized, were abhorrent, and rightly should be
repudiated by all [and] we fell short when it came to holding some officers accountable for their
mistakes. But the overwhelming majority of the agency's workforce carried out their responsibilities
faithfully; they did what they were asked to do in the service of our nation. Others defended the CIA:
[1]Ex-CIA director defended rectal rehydration; [2]Intelligence Officials: Enhanced Interrogation
Helped Save Lives, Capture Terrorists and Protect America; and [3]Former U.S. Vice President Dick
Cheney dismissed a Senate torture report released this week, saying former President George W. Bush
was "fully informed" about the interrogation techniques.
The House Ethics Committee scolded Reps. Judy Chu (D-Calif.) and Phil Gingrey (R-Ga.),
criticized Rep. Alcee Hastings (D-Fla.) behavior in a sexual harassment case but took no
action against him, and ended an informal probe of Rep. Tom Petris (R-Wis.) finances.
POTUS-16 maneuvering is occurring among Republicans; for example, Jeb's Bush's financial affairs show
that he's politically vulnerable as a mini-Mitt. Also, Chris Chocola is being replaced as president of the
Club for Growth after six consequential years by David McIntosh who, like Chocola, is a former
Republican congressman from Indiana; he was also a chairman of the Republican Study Committee in
the 1990s and has close ties to Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, who is considering a run for the White House in
2016. Finally, my comment about a mini-glitch [Gov. Scott Walker Mixed Up Molotov and Mazel Tov
559

in Hanukkah Letter+ was as follows: He probably signed-off on a dictated letter that his typist
misapprehended; not a big deal, but a warning that the buzzards are always circling.
BHOs Administration continues to relax enforcement of pot-law [DOJ Allows Native
American Tribes to Grow, Sell Marijuana] and to favor labor over management [ObamaNLRB Gives Unions Access To Employers Email Systems; thats why, in this poisoned
atmosphere, some argue the GOP needs to keep nuclear option.
Regarding the upcoming PA-Sen race, Sabatos Crystal Ball Called Toomeys Seat A Toss-Up, I blogged:
It is necessary to cite two prior comments to keep the record straight.
First, I explained why Toomey will be difficult to defeat. [This was a structured
distillation of a decades worth of observation that easily withstood typical-Dem
rejoinders.]
Second, I explained why DD lacks credibility. [This was a summary of incremental
colloquy that concluded: You have advocated the overthrow of the Israeli government
throughout Israels entire lifetime explaining why you have endorsed the behavior of
Hamas [which the USA has designated as a terrorist organization] that is, itself,
promoting policies that are consonant with those of the Islamic State.+
*
Lets apply Inductive Reasoning to awareness of these two conclusions. This is a twostep effort *proving (a) that n=1 and proving (b) that the theorem works for n + 1 if it
is assumed the theorem works for n+.
First, (a) is met when it is determined that Toomey has earned grudging-respect for his
proud-to-be-a-conservative conduct from across the political spectrum. Second, (b) is
met when it is determined that a reflex-critic [and Dem-sycophant] falsely claimed
Sestak didnt attack his conservatism, even assuming he could occasionally be correct.
Therefore, it is concluded that DD again confirmed he is not credible when attacking
Sestak for allegedly having failed to point-out Toomeys political philosophy *Toomeys
not a moderate. Hes as, or even more, conservative than Santorum.+.
*
I attended their Philly-Debate and it was replete with ideological conflict. Thus, again,
Toomey will be formidable, even against a smooth-operator such as Josh Shapiro [early
BHO-booster] and anything DD might upload to the contrary should be ignored.
When I read that PA legislators prepare old bills for new session with more hope and that Liquor
privatization debate poised to resurface in PA House, I noted that there was nary a mention of the
potential for the GOP-led legislature to pass long-delayed bills in January, prior to when Corbett is
replaced by Wolf; I posed this question to two legislators @ Party Parties, and I received enigmatic
answers *It takes time to have the Committee on Committees meet and We do not want to be
560

divisive+. I still dont know why bills on issues that had been heavily studied cannot be placed directly
onto the floor for prompt passage related to Paycheck Protection and Voter-ID [if not Pension Reform
and State-Store sale]; hoping that the PA PENSION SYSTEM WILL BE RELIEVED SIGNIFICANTLY THROUGH
HIGH INVESTMENT RETURNS AND SLOWER PAYROLL GROWTH will not offset the oncoming Tsunami.
At the Philly-GOP event @ Downeys, I met Melissa Murray Bailey, a 35-year-old
executive who serves as president of the Americas team of the Swedish-based
employer-branding company Universum, who is exploring the Republican nomination
for mayor of Philadelphia because she believes she can bring something new to the city
thats going to allow people to flourish here for many years to come. It is also noted
that Penn's president properly feels heat from her police for 'Die In' stance. Finally, Penn
State controversies rage, as the trustees chairman called a special meeting on lawsuit
against NCAA; allegedly claiming said he signed the NCAA consent decree under duress.
{Also note that, after Phillies traded Rollins to Dodgers, Rollins' departure was viewed as momentous
but merciful; in my view, it should presage multiple efforts to turn-over an enervated franchise [recalling
the glory-days of Pete Mr. Hustle Rose, with J-Rol having been the prime-culprit during recent years].
Reviews of Exodus: Gods and Kings and The Imitation Game were positive; although
Ridley Scott's 'Exodus' Strays from the Bible, it was felt that Exodus: Gods and Kings was
enjoyable, entertaining and not insulting to a movie-goer. Yet, the movie is not without
its faults and it was disappointing to people harboring a faith-perspective. If you were an
atheist who wanted to ride the Bible movie craze, you would have to choose; if you did
not really care about the material or the beliefs of a few billion people, youd make
Darren Aronofskys Noah movie, but if you thought it necessary to be respectful of the
beliefs of a few billion people, youd make Ridley Scotts Exodus movie.
The Israeli Future has been probed:
In the United States, it is harder to picture the severity of the threats to the Western
model of governance and civilization, because those threats are relatively distant. Israel
is effectively our front line. Europe is embarrassed by the legacy of the Westwith its
whiteness and colonialism and capitalismand probably would be happy to see Israel
disappear or change its character in such a way that the Jewishness of the Jewish
state is certain to disappear.
But Europe itself is faltering. At an event I attended this week, Natan Sharanskythe
former Soviet dissident and Israeli author and politicianmade the following observation
in response to a query about resurgent anti-Semitism: People always ask me, is there a
future for Jews in Europe? But Im more worried about the question, Is there a future
for Europeans in Europe?
He concluded: But of course they can come here. There will always be a future for
Europe in Israel.
This was written as Israel encountered further strife with the EU [Danish ambassador and JPost's
Caroline Glick exchange verbal blows over EU attitude toward Israel and Rinsing Israel Out of Europe:
The Zionistfrei Movement]; Iran [Iran and US Fighting On Same Side Rattles Israeli Defense Officials and
561

Bachmann to Obama at White House Christmas Party: Bomb Iran]; terrorists [2 Injured In Another
Jerusalem Stabbing Attack]; Palestinian Arabs on the Temple Mount [MK Moshe Feiglin was informed by
the police on Wednesday that he would not be allowed to visit the Temple Mount on Thursday, the 19th
of Kislev]; American reverse-racists who link the Palestinian and Black causes *Reggie Bush Compared
Ferguson to Palestine and Implied Israel is Racist+; and strife with BHOs America *Obama secretly
working to replace Netanyahu, as anticipated, and Former CIA Chief R. James Woosley feels Pollard
should be freed]. As it was noted that there are Ten Ways the Mafia and Islam are Similar, Israeli
inventions were announced [the Genie (that prepares healthy food in pods that have a shelf life of up
two years without preservatives added) and The Cicret Bracelet (which is Like a tablet...but on the skin)].
Steve Feldman noted that the Irish parliament [mirroring actions throughout Europe]
cynically voted to recognize a "Palestinian" state; what they are actually doing is
declaring that land must be seized from the Jewish people, and that the Jews are too
powerful. Were they really interested in helping the "Palestinians," they would have
been demanding that these individuals be treated humanely and be granted full
citizenship in the nations in which they happen to be currently living with "refugee"
status [rather than not being allowed to work or move freely in, say, Jordan, Lebanon or
wherever]. They would also be demanding that the "Palestinians" have elections, which
has not happened since 2005. {The Daily Alert is again replete with stunning updates.}
The Senate Foreign Relations Committee narrowly approved a measure to authorize the use of military
force in the fight against the Islamic State after some heated debate over how restrictive it should be.
The 10-8 vote was along party lines, with Dems supporting the measure and Republicans opposing it. No
floor debate is expected in the Senate, nor will the House take up the issue during the last days of this
lame-duck session, leaving it for the new Republican-controlled Congress that will be seated in January.
Finally, as Kerry continued to warn of climate 'tragedy,' he gained an adherent; the
POPE said the Time to tackle 'global warming' is running out [and Pope Francis Said
Theres a Place for Pets in Paradise]. And, predictably, Gorbachev Blamed the U.S. for
Provoking New Cold War.

Subject: Thoughts - LXXV [CRomnibus, CIA]

https://www.scribd.com/doc/250040273/Thoughts-LXXV-CRomnibus-CIA
Needless to say, reaction to my prior double-Blast e-mail has accumulated, the less emotional items
are shared here. Appended are perceptions of Jim Geraghty and Rush *who psychologically recovered
after Thursdays shock and stopped perseverating]. Although these quotes are ordinarily provided for
perusal, four excerpts therefrom are emphasized infra [the CIA-report, the Wimpy-video, the
exploration of hypocrisy, and Rushs key-observations]. Emotions remain raw because, as it now stands,
INGRAHAM feels the GOP is 'NOT A CONSERVATIVE PARTY.' In any case, after a few issues unrelated to
the CRomnibus are covered, the current situation is reviewed by remaining focused on Boehner and Fitz
despite the fact that, in many respects, articulating these observations feels anti-climactic.
To address issues unrelated to the CRomnibus, briefly, note that the Senate GOP is
Preparing to Cave on Filibuster; Newsweek reported 'Public Support for Gun Control at a
Record Low'; Unlike Vermont, Minnesota Required Jonathan Gruber to Provide Itemized
Invoices; BILL AYERS TO IRAN MEDIA: U.S. A 'TERRORIST NATION... GREATEST PURVEYOR
OF VIOLENCE ON EARTH'; and Lois Lerner Emails Show Obama's Justice Department
Assisted IRS to Target Conservative Groups.
Also note two warnings to the Jewish Community *Six ways to fight
BDS lies on campus and Will the Classic ADL re-emerge?].
Karl Rove said Diane Feinstein reminds me of the Red Queen of Alice in Wonderland
conclusions first and investigation never. He quoted Decision Points by George W.
Bush (pages 168-170), which documented the thread of info that proved enhanced
interrogation was effective. The interrogation program started when 13 techniques
were reviewed and 11 approved, proving Bush-43 was NOT uninformed by a rogue-CIA.
It was first directed at the recruiter for bin-Laden [Abu Zubaydah], who was
waterboarded and revealed additional planned attacks on U.S plus who had conceived
logistics for 9/11 and post-9/11 plots of follow-on attacks [Romsi ben-Asheeb] who was
also subjected to enhanced interrogation techniques. These two lead to the mastermind
of 9/11 [Khalid Sheikh Mohammad+, who said, Ill see you in New York with my
lawyers; but, after he broke, he IDed the head of the militant group Jemaah Islamiah
who led their efforts to work in SE Asia [Riduan Isamuddin, a.k.a. Hambali]. He gave up
his brother, who was in charge of the effort to attack the west coast of the United States
[Rusman Gunawan]; as a result, 17 members of his cell [who were in-training to
probably use aircraft to attack sites on the west coast] were swept-up. As a result of
subjecting people to these techniques of interrogation, the CIA learned of Canary
Warf and attacks on Heathrow *London+ and U.S. Embassies and military bases abroad.
To obtain some balance, note a key-quote from an article drawn from
Feinsteins CIA-dissing report [Did torture really help U.S. find al Qaeda
chief Hambali?+: KSM told CIA interrogators in early 2003 about a plan
to have a former resident of Baltimore, Majid Khan, send $50,000 to
southeast Asia to fund al-Qaeda attacks. The spy agency says that
563

information helped investigators uncover a network of terror suspects

in southeast Asia that led to Hambali himself. Before KSM gave up
information about Khan during interrogation, the CIA was already
assembling leads that would eventually bring it to Hambali, the report
said. This last sentence was very deftly composed for, taken @ facevalue, the time-line it purports to have existed was postulated to have
had the potential to eventually ID Hambali, but it doesnt undermine
the conclusion that KSM had IDed Hambali before whatever pending
leads had become manifest *also leading to his having been IDed+.
The first item-of-business is to prove that delaying a confrontation allowed BHO to create facts on the
ground that will be difficult to reverse; Americas transformation has rapidly begun, as Illegals flock to
amnesty workshops, held at Churches and Islamic Centers from Coast to Coast. [GUTIRREZ: EXEC
AMNESTY HARD TO 'UNRAVEL' IF ENOUGH PEOPLE SIGN UP.] This concept is illustrated by Geraghtys
use of a classic quote from Popeyes friend Wimpy *Dont agree to accept payment Tuesday for a
hamburger today+ which I had independently thought of including in the prior Blast e-mail, but
ultimately didnt because of the desire to eschew levity. *I am THAT angryand disappointed.+
Amazingly [and revealingly], House and Senate GOP Leaders are Gearing-Up to Increase Guest-Worker
Permits; note the tug-of-war that is now raging in the states [Jan Brewer Asked Supreme Court to Let
Arizona Deny Driver's License to DREAMers vs. California and Mexican Consulate Encourage Illegal
Immigrants to Buy State-Sponsored Auto Insurance].
Boehner and Obama were Defiant; they claimed there was a Risk of Government
Shutdown In their Desperate Bid To Save the Amnesty-Funding Cromnibus Bill; although
Obama Said He's 'Still Not' King and that it was Hypocritical for Americans to Oppose
Amnesty, the Geraghty-essay compared/contrasted how identical ideological stances
were portrayed differently by the media [when Elizabeth Warren was praised and Ted
Cruz had been vilified]. The net-result [per LIMBAUGH] was that the Election results
squandered before Republicans even sworn in and, further, RUSH claimed the
CROMNIBUS WAS DESIGNED TO 'ELIMINATE THE TEA PARTY.'
As a result, note Laura Ingrahams pledge to Boehner on the CRomnibus Cramdown: We Will Not Forget
the Betrayal; HANNITY concurs ['JOHN GRUBER BOEHNER' 'SHOULD NOT BE SPEAKER'] as does Sarah
[MIDTERMS NULLIFIED... CALLS FOR BOEHNER OUSTER... 'RINO SEASON OPENS SOON, noting that
Sarah Palin Shoots and Scores Big Time in Texas]. Questions have arisen About Claim by Rep. Marlin
Stutzman (R-IN) that Leadership Duped Him Into Supporting Obama-Boehner Cromnibus, for he hasnt
identified anyone in particular but, regardless, it is necessary to note that 67 House Republicans Voted
Against The $1.1 Trillion Cromnibus Spending Bill.
Before/After-Arguments promulgated prior to the event merit by Jeff Sessions serve as
bookends for what transpired [Sessions: Will We Abandon American Workersor Save
Them from Obama's Amnesty? Jeff Sessions: Funding Exec Amnesty Helps DC, Wall St.
'Super Elites' Realize 'Dream of a World Without Borders']; in addition to these
concerns, spending by Boehner/BHO [that has Increased the Debt $3.8 TRILLION] has
prompted TEA PARTY PATRIOTS to ask people to DEMAND that YOUR CONGRESSMAN
DEFUND EXECUTIVE AMNESTY.

564

As usual, both above-the-fray and engaged-in-issues, CRUZ argued that the SENATE VOTE should be
focused ON the CONSTITUTIONALITY OF EXEC AMNESTY; how this affects POTUS-16 politics is relevant,
for Millionaires Want Jeb or Hillary in the White Houseand Amnesty. Unfortunately for them, Jeb Bush
Ties to Chinese 'Masters of the Universe' Could Complicate 2016 Plans [as he has been characterized as
a Mini-Mitt because of the fact that Overseas Funds, Mysterious Investors, and Foreign Entanglements
Strain Jeb Bush 2016 Rollout; therefore, Jeb Bush is Asking John McCain How to Win Without the
Conservative Vote. Meanwhile, increasingly irrelevant, Rand Paul Targets Executive Amnesty with
Companion to Ted Yoho Bill.
One TEA-Party leader wrote [to a select-group]: All I can say is that Boehner and
McConnell should keep a close eye on their Right Flank! Boehner just hit the hornet's
nest and he's going to feel the pain very soon! Of course, I would apply this same
admonition to Fitz.
Another reader wrote that he loved a comment in the prior Blast e-mail *What the f*%# just
happened+ because it recalled Monica Crowleys book *What the (Bleep) Just Happened? Hardcover
June 19, 2012]. And, reacting to a rhetorical query *What More Could the Republicans in Congress
do?+, it was suggested that multiple Executive Branch bureaus could be de-funded for, Whats so hard
about cutting government spending? Its the biggest target on the planet. This process could be started
by completely defunding some Liberal Strongholds like the Dept of Education and the EPA, along with
Federal Bureaus *starting with those that start with A+:

Arms Control and International Security

Arthritis and Musculoskeletal Interagency Coordinating Committee

Lois Kaneshiki will assemble several dozen GOP committee people after Christmas to call out Shuster for
his YES vote and for expanding the NSAs spying powers but, to a significant degree, the cattle have left
through the wide-open barn-door. In response to a suggestion by Dave Sommers yesterday regarding
the [tangential] inability to force BHO to enforce the law, she observed [the obvious]:
The problem is that when you cut funding for any department, you dont know what the
dept. heads will choose to not finance in their departments.
For example, funding was cut for the EPA. That means there is less funding for ALL EPA
regs, not just the ones that we consider to be bad or onerous.
Whenever something goes wrong, they will tell us Its because the GOP cut our
funding.
The regs have to be abolished at the same time that funding is cut, or you create a
dangerous enforcement situation.
This triggered byplay between Lois and Guzzardi:
In response, Guzzardi queried [So the alternative is to fund ALL of EPA or none? Is that
Rep. Fitzpatrick's explanation?] and posited [NDAA moves very few votes and, as we
learned in the Primary challenge in 2012, not enough; to vote against NDAA is to vote
against ALL defense spending. Most of us think that shutting down the military is not a
good idea.]
In reply, Lois wrote [Bob that is not true. Thats like saying if they didnt vote for
Omnibus it was a vote to shut down the government. They cant be extorted into voting
for everything the administration wants all the time] and added [That is not what I said.]
Guzzardi then meshed the two threads thusly: You said cutting funding won't
eliminate a program unless it is targeted. And targeting defunding seems, according to
your email, impossible. The same targeting logic applies to NDAA ...all or nothing. Or do
you think Rs should have voted for CRomnibus? Rep. Perry voted NAY to CRomnibus
and your Rep. voted YEA. and you do not seem to be willing to call Bill Shuster out for
voting YEA to funding amnesty and Obamacare and EPA enforcement.
This rhetorical dispute died-out after I rectified matters by meshing their core-arguments:
If I may
You-two are subconsciously playing by BHOs all or none rules, reminiscent of the
events of October 13; his uncompromising posturing has confounded your thinking and
conflated two distinct initiatives.

566

Both need to be passed, and both were deeply flawed; Cruz doesnt like the land-grab in
the NDAA and would want to amend, just as we have not wanted the CRomnibus passed
because inter alia it funds the Executive Order.
The proper posturing regardless of rhetoric is to vote for what you believe
[specifying what cost-centers should be funded WITHIN departments and which must be
starved EXPLICITLY]; in the words of George Ross Fisher, III, MD [a medical politics
mentor], the legislative goal must always be to avoid the adoption of bad policy.
Thus, opposing until a problem is fixed is desirable, along with the ability [for a change]
to withstand a media onslaught regarding an allegation of shutdown; just as one must
alter the nomenclature regarding the Middle East *Jerusalem has suburbs not
settlements+, so too must the alternative be portrayed as a governmental slowdown
of perhaps 14% of its baseline functioning [amplified for effect by BHO, such as when he
closed the WW-II memorial]
In short, both bills should be opposed and then passed properly, followed by a jointconference committee within Congress, etc.
Also, Fitzs Friend Dave Sommers *who is undoubtedly stressed+ wrote a quasi-defense which I then
proceeded to dismember:
Dave
Bob .... Obama doesnt care WHAT language congress puts in its budget, explicit or
vague!
That is why he is lawless and a despot. America has never experienced someone so
devoid of respect for our constitution and legislation.... and he has packed the
departments with like-minded lawbreakers.
Wish I had better solution, but it seems Congress must appoint a special prosecutor in
January to go after those who violate legislative laws.
The budget will not bring this lawless administration to heel.
Me
All your condemnations of BHO are totally meaningless, as you continue to runinterference for Fitz; individuals on the cc-list who had held-on to the hope that they
could feel they were Friends with him have told me a year hence that they concur
with my unfortunate diagnosis.
Congress doesnt appoint special prosecutors under such circumstances; we cant even
get Boehner to create special-committees *pulling teeth+ to nail BHOs Scandal
Sheet. You are again deflecting attention from the central issue, and that is Mikes
having funded this transformation of America to satisfy the Corporate interests [as he
suggested he would do in August 13 @ the Lower Bucks CC event with No Labels.
567

We have been used, and he needs to state categorically *for starters] that he will
transform whatever rhetoric you conjured infra into ACTION, to wit, that he will pledge
NOW not to fund DHS if ANY monies provided thereto starting in 3/2015 can be used to
support ANYTHING related to the UNCONSTITUTIONAL Executive Order.
In a prior Blast e-mail, a Libs views were quoted, expressing approval for this event [to which I replied
Your stance creates USA as magnet+; it is desirable, as passions become more becalmed [and as the
tendency to scream at its author abates], to dissect it further:
So the question, assuming you have a short-term perspective of 2016, is whether they
are being fast-tracked from green card to citizenship. If your concern truly is elections,
you can't vote with just a green card. What exactly does the language in the bill say?
Also, while it is a lot of people, apparently the policy is limited to adults who have kids
with green cards or citizenship.
This is irrelevant; once the threshold has been overcome, existing law
becomes operational *as per Sen. Lees explanation+ and this, indeed,
allows for a fast-track to citizenship [and the vote] without having to
wait a decade. Furthermore, were talking MILLIONS of people, here.
Face reality rather than idealized fantasy; BHO is doing nothing to
secure the border, thereby inviting more Illegals to come.
Perhaps a compromise is making the path from green card to citizenship different /
harder. Maybe, there are tweaks in what benefits are permissible under a green card.
All of that is different from a stance that favors mass deportation.
Its far too late for compromise, and this postulated pathway is a
conjured after-the-fact concern; indeed, one could argue that the
masses of green-card holders would become worthwhile citizens [over
time] and, thus, this statute would not be appropriately amended.

Subject: Thoughts - LXXVI
[CRomnibus, CIA, Islamism, Reverse-Racism, Cruz, Illegals, GruberGate, Hanukkah, PA-Society]

https://www.scribd.com/doc/250108268/Thoughts-LXXVI-CRomnibus-CIA-Islamism-Reverse-RacismCruz-Illegals-GruberGate-Hanukkah-PA-Society
It is desirable to take-pause, now that the Senate approved the $1.1 trillion CRomnibus spending bill,
which Sen. Sessions claimed was 'a Sad Day for the Country'; the first brief item-of-business is to parse
this biased WaPo article for, in the process of slamming Cruz [for having inconvenienced his colleagues
by functioning as the center of Senate meltdown], it failed to insert the one quote he had uttered to
explain his approach [defending the Constitution against BHOs sweeping Executive Order+and,
suddenly, the countering moves of Elizabeth Warren werent even mentioned [Progressives Pivot on the
Advisability of Government Shutdowns]. Such is the level of departure from journalistic integrity that
persists for, If Cruz And Lee Don't Trust McConnell or Boehner, Why Should We [Conservatives]? This
frames the challenge, for Ted Cruz Says Republicans Will Stay Home In 2016, If they dont stand for
anything, even if the GOP can continue to improve its ground-game. {Also, Dem-Schumer claimed that
Warren is not like Cruz because she is constructive and that Hillary's running; regarding the MIDTERMS,
Mass. Gov. Deval Patrick said Dems lost because they 'didn't stand for anything.'}
On a personal level, events of the past few days have disrupted the times when naturalsleep has occurred [although its restful-outcome hasnt been adversely affected+; this is
reminiscent of the [transient] reactive-depression that transpired after each of the BHOelections, a premonition that has been corroborated by subsequent events. Such angst
has been diverted into composing these Blast e-mails, as an effort is continually made
to reformulate existing knowledge into a durable action-plan; the net-result has been a
deeper commitment to Cruz than extant previously [vide infra].
In any case, here are the sentiments of one reader:
Thank you for your diligence in providing these intelligent and
thoughtful emails.
I am so disgusted!
....And all of this below takes us right back to your first paragraph; the
GOP is no longer the conservative party (except for a few) which means
this country is in big trouble.
Furthermore, I do not accept ANY excuses from any congressmen
particularly any Republican congressman for their failure to support our
constitution and allowing this dictator (BO) to systematically destroy our
country.
We all had high hopes that 2015 would be a step in the right direction,
but the events of the last week make me extremely wary as most of the

569

same crew who voted against America this week will still be there. And
just watch wimpy Boehner get re-elected!!!!!
Remember the rhetoric about "repealing" Obamacare?? Notice the
changing dialogue... Now they are going to "fix" some elements of it.
The people have spoken, we dont want it fixed....We want it repealed!
Looks like this will be the next disappointment.
I shudder to think of what America is going to be like for my/our
children and grandchildren! God help America!
Although I have yet to appreciate why Cruz would have sponsored legislation to
register Illegals *now, of course, a moot-effort], he continues to be articulating the
correct positions on myriad issues *domestic/foreign+ while walking the talk whenever
deemed necessary; this may explain why Cruz's Grassroots Movement is Spreading as
Staffers Take Key Positions in Texas and why Ted Cruz is Receiving Much Love These
Days [such as when Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen praised him for achieving successful
Senate passage of an anti-Hamas bill that mirrored her House-passed version].
In 1968, Drew Pearsons Washington Merry-go-Round column *on the
last page of the Philly Evening-Bulletin] endorsed HHH over RMN
because, in 48, HHH had shown himself to be ahead-of-his time when
pushing for civil-rights; this concept was manifest when Sen. Ted Cruz
(R-Texas) was revealed to have been 25 Years Ahead Of His Time On
Fighting Campus Rape. He felt the issue of sexual assault on college
campuses was personal, in part inspired by a dark chapter in his family
history. In any case, during his years at Princeton University, Cruz
spearheaded efforts to fight date rape by having 'helped implement
increased safety and rape education during Freshman week' and
cosponsored a Take Back The Night march.
Thus, although I would accede to a Walker-led effort [due to the desire to react against
having another Senator become POTUS] assuming Walker would commit to him as his
Veep [and, thus, to his ability to adopt an activist Cheney-type role], I still would prefer
him to become the POTUS-16 nominee; the GOP must win, but must eschew its
Establishment.
The mandatory-passage of the CRomnibus and NDAA [National Defense Authorization Act] necessitates
recognition of some of their contents; it seems that Paying-Down the Debt is Now Mathematically
Impossible. The CRomnibus Gives $35 M to UN Population Fund and Continues Tax Subsidies For
Abortions [thereby dissing the pro-life base of the Republican Party] and EVEN PORK FOR PIGS; and the
NDAA Benefits a Native Corp. [that Contributed to Murkowski's Write-In Campaign]. On the other hand,
finally, the Victims of the Fort Hood shooting rampage of Major Nidal Hasan will become eligible to
receive the award of the Purple Heart for injuries or deaths sustained in the attack, per the NDAA. [The
House bill contains language similar to that introduced earlier this year in the Senate by Texas Senators
John Cornyn and Ted Cruz.]
570

After the Senate Passed a Shutdown Reprieve, the Funding Fight Dragged On; although
GOP Senators were Upset They Had to Work on the Weekend, the GOP Senators
actually Faced a Choice on Filibuster [Teach Democrats a Lesson or Wuss Out]; an e-mail
by a Cruz aide *I don't think the American people have much sympathy for senators
complaining about having to work on a Saturday; Reid could have called these
nominations-votes at any time.+ countered one of many unfounded accusations. As a
result, Harry Reid's Final Act as Majority Leader was Caving to the Fight Against Obama's
Executive Amnesty [c/o Cruz/Lee/Sessions] via a recorded-vote. Also, as a result of the
application of [arcane] Senate rules, the [Gun Control-Supporting] Surgeon General
Nominee is also to Get a Vote Next Week.
As the firestorm of protest rages [Pew Poll: Half of Americans Oppose Obama Exec Amnesty; Gallup:
U.S.-Born Minorities Including Hispanics Less Supportive of Exec Amnesty; and Almost Half of Country
Now Suing Obama over Immigration], it is desirable to invoke Talmudic knowledge to home-in on the
misconduct of Rep. Fitzpatrick. This elaboration-of-the-Torah [composed two millennia ago] has the
Mishna *written law+ and the Gemorra *oral law+; the latter paradigm is invoked, here, to revisit
what transpired after he voted to fund ObamaDontCare. Mike met with a bunch of leaders of myriad
TEA-Party Movement groups [despite my leadership-role, excluding moi] on a Sunday-evening in his
Langhorne Office; as related to me the next day by two attendees, he absolutely pledged recompense
by expressing total fealty to the effort to oppose Amnesty [or anything akin thereto]. This was not cited
in a contemporaneously disseminated Blast e-mail because it was dubbed a private meeting; now
that he has reneged [confirmed by two participants thereat], however, it is necessary to provide
awareness of this microcosm of the overall betrayal of the TPM by the GOP-elites. {It is also necessary to
correct-the-record (43% of Food Stamps go to Illegals) manifest as reproducing a graphic c/o The
Republican Revolution an urban-legend that is, alas, a mathematical impossibility.}
Regarding Reverse-Racism, it is instructive to note the media-portrayal of when a
Thousand marched against police in DC/NYC/Boston; predictably, Al Sharpton Led the
March in DC as NYC Protesters Chanted 'What Do We Want? Dead Cops!' and AntiPolice Protesters Blocked Traffic in New York. In SF, Protesters claimed 'Life is
Inconvenient for Black Men All the Time,' as Flags were Burnt and Stores were Smashed
[amid 'Peaceful Protest'] as CA Joined Millions March. Meanwhile, CNN HOSTS PLEDGED
SUPPORT FOR MICHAEL BROWN AND ERIC GARNER PROTESTERS, clearly crossing the
objective-journalism line; also, an infamous MSNBC Guest [Frances Fox Piven] said the
'I Can't Breathe' Movement Must 'Cause Trouble' to Be Effective [with no one bothering
to note that she authored (and has never repudiated) half of the radical 1966
Cloward-Piven Strategy to destroy America].
Also note that, curiously, Bill Cosby Broke his Silence merely by claiming
Black Media Should Stay 'Neutral,' for he didnt even deny the sexualabuse allegations; also, predictably, the media ignored the fact that AGHOLDER PRAISED NBA PLAYER FOR 'I CAN'T BREATHE' SHIRT.
A law professor at the University of California Los Angeles has been forced to apologize
for, and withdraw, an exam question that asked constitutional law students to draft a
memo outlining the arguments for prosecuting Michael Brown's stepfather for
incitement after he yelled "Burn this bitch down" upon hearing the grand jury's decision
571

not to indict police officer Darren Wilson in the shooting death of the Ferguson, MO
teenager. {Also note that the Soros and Dems Sponsored Prison Reduction Law in CA
Increased the Crime Rate.}
GruberGate may yet erupt, as a Legal Expert concluded the Vermont Governor May Not Claim Executive
Privilege to Shield Jonathan Gruber From House Subpoena, for GOWDY said GRUBER WORK-PRODUCT is
TO BE REVIEWED FOR POSSIBLE FRAUD and/or PERJURY. Also, Texas Congressman Louie Gohmert said
Gruber had Called Democrats 'Stupid,' Not Republicans for voting for the healthcare bill. {Finally, in a
move consistent with my view that Hillary wont run for POTUS-16, Citizens United is Going to Court
over 'Stonewalled' Hillary Records [@ State Dept.].}
Dispatches from PA Society were newsworthy, both regarding PA/Philly. Regarding the
former, although AG-Kane said she'll run for re-election as AG because 'I've done
nothing wrong,' the [retiring] State supreme court chief said Kane wrongly released
secret info. Regarding the latter, an unannounced Mayoral-candidate [Council President
Darrell L. Clarke] continued to keep attention and money from the announced
candidates [Terry Gillen, Ken Trujillo, Lynne Abraham, and Anthony H. Williams];
Clarke's fund-raiser Saturday drew more than 100 people to a midtown restaurant
where tickets went for as much as $11,500. On the other hand, Tom Knox, a Center City
millionaire and former candidate for mayor and governor, endorsed state Sen. Anthony
Hardy Williams for mayor.

Vacationers are Lectured on Climate Change at National Parks

It may be recalled that the most-recent Blast e-mail demonstrated that the Dem-promulgated CIAReport was facile [and actually did not undermine the view that enhanced interrogation saved lives].
Polling suggests the Feinstein's CIA report is more harmful to America than "torturing" detainees;
indeed, it must be recalled that its Most Stunning Findings [including allegations of 'Brutal' Interrogation
Tactics] did not yield suggestions either to alter policy or to prosecute anyone. Multiple reports of how
Josh Earnest portrayed its outcome [White House Mum on Whether Methods Saved Lives; White House:
Whether CIA Techniques Saved Lives Is Only the Smaller Question; Reporter to Earnest: Polls Show
Americans Don't Oppose CIA Techniques; White House Defends CIA Chief, Won't Say Tactics Saved Lives;
Obama Has 'Confidence' In the Justice Department's Decision Not to Charge CIA Interrogators; Josh
Earnest Takes Questions, but Offers Few Answers, on C.I.A. Report] evaded what appears to be why
Obama Retains Confidence in CIA Chief and why he wont lift the ban on waterboarding. The latter
hyperlink *c/o Bloomberg+ contains a complete video of Earnests remarks and, starting @ 9:30, the
question of effectiveness was addressed thusly *an under-reported key-quote+: The moral authority
572

of the USA is one of the most powerful tools in our arsenal to advance American interests around the
world and, regardless of whether or not these techniques elicit national intelligence information, their
use undermines our ability to use this very powerful tool. Thus, BHO would allow a ticking time-bomb
to detonate, knowing that stressing [and not droning] one individual would have decreased the chance
that such an eventuality would transpire.
VICE PRESIDENT CHENEY insisted that waterboarding and other such tactics did not
amount to torture. "There's this notion that there's moral equivalence between what
the terrorists did and what we do and that's absolutely not true. We were very careful
to stop short of torture. I'd do it again in a minute." Cheney disputed the notion that any
American taken prisoner overseas by terrorists was now at greater risk of being
subjected to techniques like those used by the CIA. "He's not likely to be waterboarded.

SRO-reaction to the almost-concurrent Muskies visit *Id been first-inline to get a ticket, and had been armed with the Environment Report in
the NY-Times prior to his VERY disappointing speech], the turnout was
pitiful and only a handful of people hung around to hold a midnight bullsession with the Idaho Senator. In any case, the Turkey-Greece conflict
was raging over Cyprus, and I asked him to critique whether America

even doing nothing is doing something, and this has been my

retrospect, sadly consonant with his Presidential ambitions.
In any case, this article provides a review of key-events that link the anti-Vietnam

An essay probing how Superman and Batman would interrogate probed capability
versus will by noting a scene in just about every crossover adventure of Superman and

573

Batman where a villain or henchman must be interrogated to obtain essential

information.
Superman takes a stab at it first, but even the lowliest pistol-wielding
thug laughs in the Man of Steel's face: "What are you gonna do to me if
I don't talk, boy scout?" The villain knows that despite his immense
godlike powers, Superman's not going to do anything terrible to break
his resistance. At this point, Batman steps up, leads the captured crook
off to the side, talks to him for about thirty seconds, and reduces him to
a quivering urine-soaked mess who can't wait to spill the beans.
Batman, you see, will hurt you. A lot. In ways you might never really come back from.
He has a fraction of Superman's capability, but an abundance of malevolent will when it
comes to dealing with hardened criminals.
Here are sound-bytes from the Sunday Interview-shows [compiled by The Hill] related to the CIA:
[Pro-Report]
Sen. Angus King Senate [I]: CIA leaders should come from outside the agency [because
there was misleading of the committee].
Sen. John McCain [R]: No question CIAs tactics were torture [advising people to read
the report].
Rep. Peter King [R]: We have to 'stop hating' CIA [for it'll be difficult to reverse damage
done to CIAs reputation].
Rep. Keith Ellison [D]: We need a criminal investigation into the Senate Democrats' CIA
torture report [to learn who/what/where/when/why/how].
[Neutral-Report]
Michael Hayden [Former CIA chief]: Unsure he would have approved waterboarding
[because certain things are always off the table].
[Anti-Report]
Karl Rove [R]: Bush knew about CIAs harsh tactics [and was not kept in the dark until
2006]; he explained that the CIA used rectal feeding tubes to keep detainees nourished
during hunger strikes.
Dick Cheney [R]: Real torture was 3000 murders of Americans by al Qaeda terrorists on
9/11.
Sen. Ron Wyden [D]: CIA director left open the possibility of torture being used again
[so he is preparing a torture bill for 2015].

574

Sen. Saxby Chambliss [R]: Only a few detainees were waterboarded [claiming the furor
over the CIA is overblown].
Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse [D]:
Lawmakers should publicize notes on CIA
briefings [coming clean about what they knew].
Rep. Mike Rogers [R]: House Intelligence chief blasted CIA report [adding "We'll see a
consequence of the release of this report].
Jose Rodriguez [Former CIA official]: Pelosi [and other House Democratic leaders] knew
about harsh interrogation tactics [and did not object].
Tying-together much of what has gone wrong with American foreign policy is this elucidation of The USChanukah-Israel connection; it provides a perspective that transcends the miracle of oil sufficient to
keep the ner tamid aflame only for a day, indeed to have lasted eight days, although it doesnt actually
correlate the duration of the holiday with Succoth [which, I learned @ Gratz College a few years ago,
actually had animated those who had canonized this event].

The dangerous growth of global Islamism was elucidated by the Prince of Bahrain, when he noted that
the Real Islamist Threat is Not Terrorism, But 'Ideology' and 'Evil Theocracy'; this is how Daniel Pipes
conceptualized his remarks: He urged us to discard the term War on Terror and focus instead on the
real threat, which is the rise of these evil theocracies; to this end, he proposes to replace War on
Terror with his formulation: a War on Theocrats. This concept, he hopes, will make it possible to
start to put together the military, social, and political and maybe even economic policies in a holistic
manner to counter this, as we did with communism. In perhaps the outstanding line of the speech, he
states that it is the ideology itself that must be combated. It must be named, it must be shamed, it
must be contained, and eventually it must be defeated. This recalls the concept that America
*allegedly+ defeated the IDEOLOGY of Communism and, thus, must again recognize the need to
DEFEAT another potent ideology; I would advise the use of an expanded paradigm conveying an
expanded, and correct, level of specificity: War on Islamic Theocrats.
As lefties have begun to recognize the acuteness of this problem [NYT: Boko Haram: The

Prisoners in Afghanistan and Unable to Pay Salaries, Afghanistan Asks Donors for More
Money] that has been mirrored elsewhere [Returning Swiss ISIS Jihadist Got Community
Service, merely a slap on the wrist].
The Senate Foreign Relations Committee Authorized Islamic-State Fight Without Ground Troops
[meaningless, due to the end of this Congressional Session]; the UK is following-suit [in a comparablylimited fashion]. Breitbart provided a panoply of insights [UK to send hundreds of troops to Iraq and UK
renewed its support to President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi's efforts to complete the transition stage in
Yemen], noting that PM-Cameron is inexplicably claiming his 'long-standing goal' remains to bring
Turkey into the European Union [despite the complete disaster elevating this Islamist would be for
Britain and many other EU Member States]; note that Media chiefs were held in Turkey swoop on
Erdoan opponents as even Police Officers were Detained.
As a Deadly Attack Stoked Iraq Shia Pilgrimage Fears, an Iraqi Archbishop Called for a
Pre-Christmas Fast for the Return of Mosul Refugees; one can only hope that such
minimal evidence of activism would soon emerge in America. Of course, although a
Jewish Family was Attacked with Acid by Palestinian and Shots were Fired at Israeli
Embassy in Athens [which the Greek Govt. Condemned], no one else globally [including
in America] appeared to notice either; instead, as the UC Union Voted to Boycott Israel,
an avowed-leftie [Rosie O'Donnell] sold Anti-Israeli Art.
Finally, as a respite, note Kurdish Folklore and revel in this rogues gallery of all 12 Senate [mostly-Dem]

Subject: Thoughts - LXXVII
[Overview, Compilation, CRomnibus, Amnesty, Fitzpatrick, Islamism, CIA, Reverse-Racism]

https://www.scribd.com/doc/250158750/Thoughts-LXXVII-Overview-Compilation-CRomnibus-AmnestyFitzpatrick-Islamism-CIA-Reverse-Racism
That the CRomnibus passed because of GOP support [and that Senate GOP Leaders and Their ProAmnesty Allies Lied About Ted Cruz and Mike Lee] prompted this reaction from a childhood-friend:
Conservatives were a minority among our legislators in this expiring Congress, and a
minority even within the Republican caucus. We've elected more conservatives in the
next Congress, but I still don't know if they are a majority in either caucus (House or
Senate) - or if the conservatives would elect new leadership if they were a majority in
the caucus.
(Not to mention the possibility of the current Republican leadership pulling a Joe Strauss
[Texas House] and forming a coalition with Democrats to override a conservative-led
caucus rebellion in the actual election if push came to shove.)
So long as that remains the case, the Ancien Rgime will continue its crony capitalist
ways, at the risk of bringing modern-day Jacobins into power.
I chatted with a journalist with whom I often brainstorm, and he advised that [1]Journalists who use
adjectives may be biased; [2]I should research Scott Walker; and [3]The Israeli elections will be
characterized by whether BHO can undermine BB; he also recalled the aphorism, Brevity is the soul of
wit from Shakespeares Hamlet. In response to this feedback, I noted [1]I have IDed biased articles
[such as the WaPo piece on the Cromnibus]; [2]I prefer Cruz, but like Walkers background and
accomplishmentsand will elucidate further as insights are published by others (assuming Pence
doesnt excite the electorate, recalling that hes Caroline Glicks favorite); and *3+I had already
recounted efforts by Clinton/BHO to dislodge BB [which have been elucidated today (Obama
Orchestrating Regime Change in Israel, seemingly appreciating Lapids quasi-socialist policies as Finance
Minister)].
A friend is hosting The Conservative Roundtable @ *center-city] Temple University [six
weekly sessions, starting in mid-February]; contact Stew Bolno for details.
Thus, a recapitulation of the recent Blast e-mails is apt; that this has been a bad week [capped-off by
the Iggles loss, which Id predicted BTW+ is notable, although one would at least assume Christies
popularity in Philly/PA will plummet after he was seen high-fiving in the skybox with Jerry Jones [the
owner of the boys+. Also, note the weekly compilation by Richard Baehr @ the end.
Of-Interest
Internationally, Islamic Terrorism has hit Sidney, Australia.

Nationally, Judge Andrew Napolitano [Part 1 and Part 2] talks of public schools, national
debt, perpetual war, executive overreach, and what liberty-minded activists can do to
push back against big government; he is promoting his latest book, The Suicide Pact.
Statewide, The Pennsylvania Supreme Court's Chief Justice Ronald D. Castille accused
AG-Kane of releasing secret data about a 2009 investigation.
Regionally, I betcha Foles fractured clavicle will suddenly complete the healing process.
To follow are key-conclusions drawn from Blast e-mails disseminated during the past week [since the
last compilation-memo was updated], noting overlapping info was provided on multiple-days:
LXX
BHO toyed with the idea of imposing sanctions on Israel, but was rebuffed; this was a shot-over-thebow, as BB meets today with Kerry.

If you are Jewish [and not an Israeli citizen], you are encouraged to vote for the ZOA
Slate in the upcoming World Zionist Congress elections; although voting has not yet
opened, register early with the WZC [and you will immediately be sent a confirmatory email]. THIS IS INSUFFICIENT, for you must also register with the ZOA [Zionist
Organization of America] by sending an e-mail to votezoa@zoa.org or to liz@zoa.org
[and you will be sent information on how to vote when the voting begins in January].
Electoral priorities [launching the PA-Chapter of the Log Cabin Republicans and systematizing multi-level
political-demographic data management] persist, particularly noting the GOP must continue to improve
its ground-game.
LXXI

Politico [and other leftie-media] failed to capture the key-point in Boehners budget (funding BHOs
Executive Amnesty) while composing a hum-drum report [The $1.1 trillion spending package reflects
Republican priorities]. {This phenomenon persisted all-week, culminating in the WaPo piece, noting that
efforts to camouflage this phenomenon (such as by suggesting Warrens gambit counterbalanced Cruzs
crusade) permeated ALL of the Sunday talk-shows.}
These Blast e-mails have addressed international affairs [focused on Kurdistan],
national affairs [focused on the midterms], and statewide affairs [focused on Corbett].
(spotlighting Cruz)]; [2]Action-Items e-mails [I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, XI, XII,
XIII, XIV, XV, XVI, XVII, XVIII, XIX, XX, XXI, XXII, XXIII, XXIV, XXV, XXVI, XXVII, XXVIII, XXIX
and XXX] remitted from December-13 through September-14 *focused initially on
Guzzardi and morphed into analyzing myriad other issues related to BHOs overall
effortsdomestic and globalto destroy American Exceptionalism]; and [3]
Thoughts e-mails [I, II, III, IV, V and VI] composed during the past few months. {They
now total 4119 pages *1051 Anti-BHO + 2492 Action-Items + 546 Thoughts+.578

Time Magazine named Kurdish Leader Massoud Barzani as one of the runners-up for
the designation Person of the Year.
Cruz is consistently correct on all the issues [and often before others even react].
LXXIII

My increasingly-fevered e-mails started *chronologically+ with how I set the table in the prior Blast
e-mail:
All those people who refused last year even to CONSIDER a primary-challenge [because
of their friendship with Fitz] must now confront their consciences [and how he has
abused their senses of loyalty].
The House passed the bill to defund ObamaCare in September, 2013, after which time a celebratory
atmosphere erupted [note 2-minute video].
LXXIV

NOTHING, at this point, can be envisioned that will absolve Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick of culpability
for his contribution to the destruction of America as we know it. NOTHING!
PALIN: 'Stinks to high heaven.'
579

I still dont know why bills on issues that had been heavily studied cannot be placed directly onto the
floor for prompt passage [by the PA Legislature] related to Paycheck Protection and Voter-ID [if not
Pension Reform and State-Store sale].

The CIA-Report did not contradict what Bush-43 wrote in his book, illustrating how waterboarding
essentially led to OBL; carefully parsed were the chain-of-events depicted by the former that was not
undermined by the deft rhetoric of the latter.
Karl Rove quoted Decision Points by George W. Bush (pages 168-170), which
documented the thread of info that proved enhanced interrogation was effective. The
interrogation program started when 13 techniques were reviewed and 11 approved,
proving Bush-43 was NOT uninformed by a rogue-CIA. It was first directed at the
recruiter for bin-Laden [Abu Zubaydah], who was waterboarded and revealed additional
planned attacks on U.S plus who had conceived logistics for 9/11 and post-9/11 plots of
follow-on attacks [Romsi ben-Asheeb] who was also subjected to enhanced
interrogation techniques. These two lead to the mastermind of 9/11 [Khalid Sheikh
Mohammad+, who said, Ill see you in New York with my lawyers; but, after he broke,
he IDed the head of the militant group Jemaah Islamiah who led their efforts to work in
SE Asia [Riduan Isamuddin, a.k.a. Hambali]. He gave up his brother, who was in charge
of the effort to attack the west coast of the United States [Rusman Gunawan]; as a
result, 17 members of his cell [who were in-training to probably use aircraft to attack
sites on the west coast] were swept-up. As a result of subjecting people to these
techniques of interrogation, the CIA learned of Canary Warf and attacks on Heathrow
[London] and U.S.
The spy agency says that
information helped investigators uncover a network of terror suspects
in southeast Asia that led to Hambali himself.
Karl Rove said Diane Feinstein reminds me of the Red Queen of Alice in Wonderland
conclusions first and investigation never.
Regarding the CRomnibus, delaying a confrontation allowed BHO to create facts on the ground that
will be difficult to reverse; Americas transformation has rapidly begun, as Illegals flock to amnesty
580

workshops, held at Churches and Islamic Centers from Coast to Coast. [GUTIRREZ: EXEC AMNESTY
HARD TO 'UNRAVEL' IF ENOUGH PEOPLE SIGN UP.] This concept is illustrated by Geraghtys use of a
classic quote from Popeyes friend Wimpy *Dont agree to accept payment Tuesday for a hamburger
today+ which I had independently thought of including in the prior Blast e-mail, but ultimately didnt
because of the desire to eschew levity. *I am THAT angryand disappointed.+ Amazingly [and
revealingly], House and Senate GOP Leaders are Gearing-Up to Increase Guest-Worker Permits.
We have been used, and Fitz needs to state categorically [for starters] that he will
pledge NOW not to fund DHS if ANY monies provided thereto starting in 3/2015 can be
used to support ANYTHING related to the UNCONSTITUTIONAL Executive Order.
CRUZ argued that the SENATE VOTE should be focused ON the CONSTITUTIONALITY OF EXEC AMNESTY
LXXVI

Tying-together much of what has gone wrong with American foreign policy is this elucidation of The USChanukah-Israel connection; it provides a perspective that transcends the miracle of oil sufficient to
keep the ner tamid aflame only for a day, indeed to have lasted eight days, although it doesnt actually
correlate the duration of the holiday with Succoth [which, I learned @ Gratz College a few years ago,
actually had animated those who had canonized this event]. {Also, note Adam Sandlers Hanukkah
song.}
Regarding Reverse-Racism, it is instructive to note that CNN HOSTS PLEDGED SUPPORT
FOR MICHAEL BROWN AND ERIC GARNER PROTESTERS, clearly crossing the objectivejournalism line; also, an infamous MSNBC Guest [Frances Fox Piven] said the 'I Can't
Breathe' Movement Must 'Cause Trouble' to Be Effective [with no one bothering to note
that she authored (and has never repudiated) half of the radical 1966 Cloward-Piven
Strategy to destroy America].
It is desirable to invoke Talmudic knowledge to home-in on the misconduct of Rep. Fitzpatrick regarding
Amnesty. This elaboration-of-the-Torah *composed two millennia ago+ has the Mishna *written law+
and the Gemorra *oral law+; the latter paradigm is invoked, here, to revisit what transpired after he
voted to fund ObamaDontCare. Mike met with a bunch of leaders of myriad TEA-Party Movement
groups [despite my leadership-role, excluding moi] on a Sunday-evening in his Langhorne Office; as
related to me the next day by two attendees, he absolutely pledged recompense by expressing total
fealty to the effort to oppose Amnesty [or anything akin thereto]. This was not cited in a
contemporaneously disseminated Blast e-mail because it was dubbed a private meeting; now that
he has reneged [confirmed by two participants thereat], however, it is necessary to provide awareness
of this microcosm of the overall betrayal of the TPM by the GOP-elites.
The true-conservatives are reveled in the recorded-vote of the senators regarding Cruzs
effort to strip-out funding for Amnesty.
It may be recalled that the most-recent Blast e-mail demonstrated that the Dem-promulgated CIAReport was facile [and actually did not undermine the view that enhanced interrogation saved lives].
Multiple reports of how Josh Earnest portrayed its outcome evaded what appears to be why Obama
Retains Confidence in CIA Chief and why he wont lift the ban on waterboarding. The latter hyperlink
*c/o Bloomberg+ contains a complete video of Earnests remarks and, starting @ 9:30, the question of
581

effectiveness was addressed thusly *an under-reported key-quote+: The moral authority of the USA is
one of the most powerful tools in our arsenal to advance American interests around the world and,
regardless of whether or not these techniques elicit national intelligence information, their use
undermines our ability to use this very powerful tool. Thus, BHO would allow a ticking time-bomb to
detonate, knowing that stressing [and not droning] one individual would have decreased the chance
that such an eventuality would transpire.
He's likely to have his head cut off." {While being interviewed by Chuck Todd Sunday,
former Vice President Dick Cheney fervently defended the CIAs enhanced interrogation
program, particularly waterboarding; thus, there is ongoing gratitude for Dick Cheney.}
Critique of the CIA-Report [Cheney: Torture Report 'Full of Crap' and Jose Rodriguez: CIA Thrown 'Under
the Bus'] included a Psychologist who Said the U.S. Senate's CIA Report Made False Charges; it was even
satirized [SNL MOCKS 'TORTURE PSYCHIATRISTS' IN SNL COLD OPEN] using quotes that harken to

shown no leadership on fight with the Islamic State.}
Richard Baehr
Regarding Israel, he focused on pretend realists (Walt, Mearsheimer, Tom Friedman, Barack Obama) and
real ones, and he noted that Caroline Glick showed an appropriate tone and level of outrage when
confronted with European hatred of Israel and the double-standards Europeans defend; the latter
prompted him to cite his 2007 article on why Europe Abandoned Israel and a piece about the "Zionist
Frei" movement in Europe. He praised Naftali Bennett for out-debating Martin Indyk in front of a crowd
of unreconstructed two state solution devotees, and recommended these books for the holidays [The
One State Solution by Caroline Glick and Masking David Into Goliath by Joshua Muravchik.
Regarding sociological issues, he noted that the Department of Justice stated that
0.61% [not 20%] of women in college are sexually-assaulted; he lambasted Lena
Dunham's assault on humanity.
Regarding the CIA-Report, he noted input by [1]Former high level CIA employee Herb Meyer (during
the Reagan years), who articulated a ticking-time-bomb test for the critics of recent CIA behavior after
9/11.; [2]Rich Lowry, who noted that the Senate Democrats spent $50 million on its investigation of
the CIA without interviewing any of the people involved; Steve Hayward, who probed the torture report;
and Former Democratic Senator Bob Kerrey (the good Kerrey according to Daniel Patrick Moynihan),
who was also critical of the torture report:
It is always easy to judge from the rear view mirror, especially when you participated in
the decisions that were made when policies were adopted. Dianne Feinstein does not
have clean hands. American lives may be lost with this report used an an excuse for new
beheadings and atrocities. But Feinstein believes she has done her "transparency duty,"
and can walk away and ignore the consequences. Eric Holder's Justice Department
decided years back that no one would be prosecuted for the activities described in
the report. The practices ended even before that. This is nothing more at this point than
score settling. Of course releasing the report the day Jonathan Gruber testified might
have been part of the script here, to bury that embarrassment for this Administration.

583

He condemned two professors at two of America's most distinguished universities, who damaged their
own reputations and perhaps those of their schools. Jonathan Gruber of MIT almost certainly lied under
oath to Congress; one would think he should have been able to lawyer-up, with the $6 million in
consulting fees he was paid during the past few years, advising on the law he had helped to write.
[One wonders how a well-paid professor finds all the time for this much consulting work. It must
be because he does not teach very much. Next time MIT calls me for a contribution, I will ask them
about Professor Gruber's teaching load.] Ben Edelman of the Harvard Business School has created a new
definition of insufferable [Chinese lawyer torture & The sushi shakedown].
The U.S. China climate accord is a bad deal for the United States. Of course, if you
believe you know the exact temperature tipping point, and the exact sensitivity of
increased carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere and temperature change, and the
precise impact of various temperature changes on oceans, number and types of storms,
levels of precipitation, etc. go hail the accord. Paul Ehrlich predicted there would be
mass starvation in the 1970s and 1980s and that the earth would run out of habitable
land and food to feed the planet's billions (yet, we now have more than twice as many
people as when Ehrlich wrote his Population Bomb in 1968). Now Ehrlich argues that an
atmosphere with 400 parts per million of CO2 (that is 0.04%) is apocalyptic. He
still wants world population to shrink from 7 billion to 1.5 to 2 billion, but now to
protect the planet from climate change (though he admits the food is there to feed
them).
He relayed pieces about racism, a story about How Douglass Came Around to Lincoln [150 years ago this
month] and a column about the effects of Ferguson; the latter focused upon the authors seven-year-old
son wanting to be white so he won't be shot by police. Of course, this was uttered after he had asked his
mother about how often police shoot black police, and she had given this incredible answer: I hadnt
fully processed that someday my son would be seen as suspect instead of sweet. So I told him, and then
Jordan asked if it was rare for the police to hurt black people. I said that, just like his father when he
wore his military uniform, most police officers are dedicated to protecting us. But, no, I added, it is
unfortunately not uncommon. *Then I dont want to be black anymore, Jordan declared.]
He commented thusly:
There are 43 million blacks in the United States, and maybe 125 are killed by police each
year. So that is fewer than 1 police killing per 300,000 blacks. Since when is
that frequency regarded as not uncommon or not rare? In New York City, a below
average city for crime these days, the odds may be even lower. Of course, the great
majority of those roughly 125 shootings are not controversial, such as the black man
who was shot and killed by police after stabbing a man praying at a synagogue in
Brooklyn this week, just as was poised to stab again. If 10% of the police killings are
controversial, then the odds are 1 in 3 million for the average black person being in this
group each year. You have a far better chance of being hit by lightning, hitting a hole in
one, or watching a subway series between the Cubs and White Sox next year after
recent acquisitions and trades.
Sadly, this boy's father, who was African American, served in the army and was killed
overseas. You want risk to your health and well-being, then being black and living in a
black neighborhood provides some reason to fear for your safety- since other members

of the community are 70-80 times more likely to kill you than the police. If you want
risk, join the military and help defend your country. The idea that innocent blacks are
walking down the streets of our cities, and are summarily executed by police
is preposterous.
Regarding Dems, he noted that the fivethirtyeight.com blog (Nate Silver's creation) argues that Elizabeth
Warren would be the most liberal Democratic Party nominee since George McGovern. Surprise, so
would Hillary Clinton. [Remember, per MSNBC, it is the Republicans who are moving right, not the
Democrats moving left.]

Subject: Thoughts - LXXVIII [CRomnibus, Islamic-Theocracy, Hanukkah]

https://www.scribd.com/doc/250191534/Thoughts-LXXVIII-CRomnibus-Islamic-Theocracy-Hanukkah
The immediate-past Blast e-mail had been envisioned to be a bit shorter than what ultimately
emerged; the Overview and Compilation provided key action-items that will necessarily survive the
onslaught of, respectively, the Establishment-GOP and the Progressive-Dems. As the CRomnibus is
implemented [and Illegals are provided documentation], evidence of how Dem-tilted it was continues to
mount [e.g., Reid Blocked CRomnibus Measure Prohibiting Federal Mandate of Common Core
Standards], fueling anger with RINOs such as Fitzpatrick; appended are Mark Steyns pungent remarks
on todays Rush-Limbaugh radio-show. The battle against the media-narrative will rage [with some
people anguished over what they view as excess attention being paid to sports, as a diversion]; most
perceptions will be derivative of overarching concerns [such as the need to overcome the gaggle of
POTUS-16 candidates who are not true Constitutional Conservatives]. {Also note that an obsequious
Chris Christie Welcomes Obama Back To New Jersey and a pandering Rand Paul Apologized after
Declaring 'Chamber of Commerce Republican' Won't Win White House.}
A friend is hosting The Conservative Roundtable @ *center-city] Temple University [six
weekly sessions, starting in mid-February]; contact Stew Bolno for details.
A pragmatic assessment of the Iggles includes grading them, recognizing the potency of advanced-stats,
appreciating the eagerness for Foley [as predicted], concurring that they dropped in the power-rankings,
and accepting the fact that they need help to reach the playoffs.
Implementation of the Mandatory Holocaust Education Bill in PA is starting, noting that
a "Summit" will be held in Pittsburgh on March 26 - 27, 2015; Im plugged-in to the
point-woman in Harrisburgs DoE and will, presumably, be provided an agenda, soon.
Regarding the upcoming Israeli elections, another theme threading through the jockeying of political
party alliances is ongoing antipathy between the Orthodox and the non-Orthodox; although BB has
involved the former in the IDF, the latter want greater relaxation of multiple rules, and may be eager to
align with an anti-BB coalition. In any case, that BB is being stressed by BHO is illustrated by the fact that
Washington is undecided on U.N. resolution for Palestinian state.
Zhudi Jasser twice presented a possible "moderate" Islam perspective last week, once @
Duane-Morris [Center City] and once @ Har Zion Synagogue [Lower Merion]; queries
were aggressive and unresolved. [1]When asked how Islam can be moderate when
Mohammed was a warlord, he said the Quran must be appreciated in the time and
place in which it was composed, for not everything can be transposed to today. "Itjihad"
(critical analysis of Islam) was wiped-out in 12th century Baghdad when 4000 schools of
Islam were reduced to 4. [2]When presented an anti-Semitic vignette (e.g., a Central
HS alum spoke of wrestlers who refused to be coached by a Jew), he said this attitude is
not widespread. [3]When presented with problematic Koranic verses (by a Lebanese
who spoke Arabic), he responded by citing different translations related to differing
interpretations. [4]When presented with the fact that Mohamed was a pedophile
[evil] because he slept with a child (Alyssia, his 4th wife, was 6 when engaged and 9
586

when married), it was counter-claimed that he didnt sleep with her until she was older.
{Also note that Journalists and police were detained in Turkish raids over Monroe Co.based cleric [Gulen].}

The IRANIAN GUNMAN is DEAD IN SYDNEY, again illustrative of the global reach of Islamic Theocrats;
todays daily-alert provides elaborative-comment regarding this concern.
The Latest from Sydney, and a Silly Side Debate
by Jim Geraghty
An opening paragraph like this one in USA Today can drive a man batty:
More than 10 hours after a gunman took control of a cafe in central Sydney,
seizing an unknown number of hostages, Australian police said Monday they still
dont know his motivation.
Five hostages fled the Lindt Chocolat Cafe in Martin Place, in the heart of the
citys financial and shopping district, Monday. An undisclosed number of
hostages remain in the cafe.
We have not yet confirmed it is a terrorism-related event, New South Wales
state police Commissioner Andrew Scipione said. Were dealing with a hostage
situation with an armed offender.
Then, in the ninth paragraph:
Television video shot through the cafes windows showed several people with
their arms in the air and hands pressed against the glass, and two people
holding up a black flag with the Shahada, or Islamic declaration of faith, written
on it.

587

This led to a lot of debate on Twitter Sunday night about whether this was an ISIS flag or
a different flag:
But it is not thought to be an actual IS flag.
Dr. Matthew Gray, from the Centre of Arabic and Islamic Studies in
Canberra, said he believed it to be the Shahada, or declaration of faith.
He said it was similar but not identical to that used by IS.
Its based around a black flag with white text that supposedly the
Prophet Muhammad would carry, including into battle when he was
fighting on behalf of the religion, Dr. Gray told Sky News.
This banner takes different forms. It looks vaguely like the IS flag.
The one were seeing in the window is a little bit different. The IS flag
has just the beginning of the Shahada at the top, whereas this one has
what looks to me like it could have the full Shahada, the full declaration
of faith on the bottom of the flag.
Guys. Guys. If an armed perpetrator brings a black flag with Islamic writing to a hostage
situation, and makes the hostages hold it up in the windows so the media can see it . . .
it isnt to protest against the Islamic State or Islamic extremism. Hes not a confused
Oakland Raider fan who really likes cursive writing.
Maybe the guy couldnt stop by the Islamic State Merchandising Shop on his way to the
hostage site. Maybe hes not detail-oriented. But Occams Razor would suggest that a
guy who makes hostages hold up an Islamic flag so the media can see it is acting in the
name of an Islamist agenda.
