Sayreville High school canceled football season . . .
Seven High school football players were arrested last Friday for allegedly sexually hazed
freshmen. These teens took advantage of the younger players in the locker room.
Persecutors alleged that at least one student was penetrated. The arrested students are
being accused of several sexual crimes. The superintendent Richard Labbe canceled the
football season because of the allegations and to prioritize the welfare and safety of the
students. "There were incidents of harassment, intimidation that took place on a pervasive
level, in which the players knew, tolerated and in general accepted," Labbe said.

After a student was diagnosed with enterovirus, the Elizabeth school and buses were
disinfected according to officials.

Olga Hugelmeyer, Superintendent of schools at Elizabeth Public Schools, sent a letter to

all parents to inform that one student of school 28 has been diagnosed with the
enterovirus; She also stated that the school and buses were cleaned and disinfected.
She advised parents to look out for the symptoms on their children, which could be
sneezing, muscle ache, runny nose, cold, difficulty breathing, a fever or other symptoms
of the illness, to contact their doctors.
"We have been working alongside local health officials, with your help and your
vigilance, we can ensure that we maintain a safe and healthy school community." she
wrote.
So far, there has been one case where a four-year-old student died last month of
enterovirus D68.

Remains found during missing student search

Authorities found human remains on Saturday while looking for Hannah Graham, a
student from the University of Virginia who has been missing for five weeks. "These are
human remains and forensic tests need to be conducted to determine the identification,
but nonetheless we wanted to be quick and timely to share that information with the
Graham family." Charlottesville Police Chief Timothy Longo told reporters.
Hannah was last seen by several surveillance cameras on September 13, also a man later
identified by authorities as Jesse Matthew was seen following her. Matthew was taken
into custody on September 24, he has been charged with abduction with intent to defile.
His next court appearance is on December four.

In Fresno, California, an unidentified man walked into a burning house, risking his own
life, to rescue an elderly man, who was attached to an oxygen tank inside the house.
Two homes were involved in the fire; the flames destroyed an outbuilding and a garage
of one home and the second one had minor damages.
Bystanders and neighbors were trying to put the fire out by using a water hose when they
heard a small explosion, the hero as some of the neighbors are calling him, calmly
walked into the burning house and came out carrying seventy three years old Robert
Wells on his shoulder. Wells was taken to the hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.
No one knows who the hero is but Wells is very thankful that he is alive today. "Thank
you from the bottom of my heart, that I made it out," said Wells.

The bodies of seven women were found in Indiana on last weekend. First, police found a
nineteen years old woman, who was strangulated, in a Motel 6 off interstate I80. Lt.
Richard Hoyda of the Hammond Police Department said. Detectives took a suspect, who
made a confession, into custody. This confession led detectives to find the bodies of three
women in three different houses on Saturday, and three other women bodies on Sunday.
The man made a confession and took detectives to Gary, where several other female
victims of possible homicide" were found, Hoyda said.

In International News

According to the Pentagon, The United States military airdropped medical supplies,
weapons and ammunition to Kurdish fighters in Kobani to help them defend themselves
against ISIS forces. The move was partly humanitarian but also aimed at shoring up the
Kurdish defenders of Kobani senior Obamas administration official said. Even though
reports state that ISIS may have anti-aircraft missiles, three C-130 cargo planes flew
without escorts to deliver the equipment that was received by Kurdish fighters, the
official said.

A suicide bombing killed Twenty-one people and injured other twenty-five in

predominately Shia area of Baghdad. ISIS has claimed a series of car bombing and
suicide attacks in the same area, but no one has claimed responsibility on this suicide
bombing yet.
The bomber targeted a Shia mosque in the city's northeast al Harithyia neighborhood, a
police source who did not want to be identified said.

The Giants surprised their fans after a three-game winning streak. The team showed an
outstanding progress after last year terrible season.

We certainly have to get some wins; we have to get going in that area, weve lost a
couple of important games in a row, but we have nine games left. We are going to have to
figure out some things. Giants coach Tom Coughlin said.

Nobody said it was going to be easy, Manning said. Weve got to find a way to get
better and play better than we are right now.

Rutgers players were three-touchdown underdogs against Ohio State on Saturday, but
they lost 56-17.

On Saturday night, Nebraska, led by Heisman Trophy candidate Ameer Abdullah, won at
Northwestern 38-17.
