Introduction
Thank you for purchasing BTHS-004 which is a sleek cordless
headset that enables comfortable Handsfree communication with your
Bluetooth mobile phone!
This BTHS-004 is compatible with all kinds of Bluetooth devices,
including mobile phones, PC, laptop, PDA ect. with enhanced performance
by the standard Bluetooth protocol v.2.0
Installation
Carefully unpack all of components from the package: headset, USB
charging line and AC adaptor, ear hook etc
Main view of the device, controls and indicators are shown on the
figure 1.

Pothook can be installed for wearing the headset on right or left ear.
You can change the ear by reinstalling the pothook very easily (see the
figure 2).

Charging the headset


Before using headset, you must charge the headset for approximately
two hours. Fully charged battery provides up to 5 hours of talk time and up
to 200 hours of standby time.
1. Plug a charger into a headset. When the headset is charging the
Red LED will light up.
2. The Red LED will turn off after 60% charging. This indicated user
can use the headset. However, it need to take about two hours for the
battery to be charged at 100%.
Pairing the BTHS-004 with the mobile Phone
Pairing is the process of linking the headset with your Bluetooth
mobile phone. Before you use headset with your mobile phone you must
pair the devices. After this process is completed, you can use the headset
only with this paired mobile phone. The pairing process only need to be
done once for continuous usage. The headset can be paired with several
mobile phones, but can be used only with last paired mobile phone. Before
you pair the headset make sure that the battery is fully charged.

Pairing process
1. With the headset turned off, press and hold the TALK button for five
seconds. The blue and Red LEDs will flash alternately. Release the TALK
button. The headset is now in pairing Mode.
2. Turn on the mobile phone, initiate the device Bluetooth discovery
feature. Refer to the mobile phone user guide for instructions for initiating
this feature.
3. When prompted by the mobile phone, enter the headset default pin
code 0000.
4. When pairing is complete, the blue LED on the headset will flash in
three second intervals and the headset will be placed in standby mode,
ready to make and receive calls.
5. The disconnection or lost links can occurs due to the following
reasons:
The range between headset and mobile phone is over 10 feet.
Mobile phone has disconnected the link in order to save the
power or other purpose.
Either device has been switched off.
Note: The headset will keep the connection with mobile phone at all
times if both connection links have been built up.

While you are in pairing mode, you can cancel the pairing process and
turn off the headset.
Press and hold the TALK button for three seconds. Both LEDs will turn
off.
Using the BTHS-004
1. Press and hold the Talk button for four seconds. You will see blue
light flashing. The headset turns on and stay in standby mode, ready to
make and receive calls with last paired mobile phone.
2. In the stand by condition, press and hold the Talk button for four
seconds. The blue light will turn off. The headset turns off.
3. Make a call from your mobile phone. The call is auto directed to
your headset.
4. When your mobile phone rings, press the Talk button on your
headset. The call is also automatically directed to your headset.
5. You can end the call by the Talk button on your headset. Or wait
until your interlocutor will end the call. In this case no need to press the
Talk buttons. The headset will go into standby mode automatically.
6. You can make calls from your mobile phone or directly from your
headset using voice dialing commands. Just say the name of the person
you wish to call. This person will called automatically. (This feature should
be supported by your mobile phone. For more detailed information please
refer to the mobile phone Users Manual).

During conversation press the top part of the volume button + to


increase volume by one level, repeat this procedure until you have reached
the desired level.
Press the bottom part of the volume button to decrease the volume
by one level, repeat this procedure until you have reached the desired
level.
You can mute the microphone temporarily by pressing - (volume
down button) for three second, so that you cannot be heard by the
interlocutor.
To unmute the microphone (when the headset is in mute mode) press
and hold the volume up button + for three seconds.

Important:
Charge the BTHS-004 only with the provided AC adapter. Using
another A/C adaptor may damage the headset.
Before use BTHS-004 please make sure that the battery has been
fully charged.
Always store BTHS004 with power off and safely protected.
Avoid storage in a hot vehicle or under the direct sunlight.
Dont expose or any of its supplied parts to rain or other liquids.
Please keep the headset dry, and clean it periodically with a soft cloth.
