phesians 1 says that we are Gods chosen people, saved for the
praise of his glory. Mission is all about passing on that good
news, sharing about how our loving God has saved us. I have
the pleasure of being the avenue for our mission partners prayer
letters. I read about their joys and sorrows, the fantastic ways in
which God is working in Africa, and the things that his people are
still waiting for. Brothers and sisters
learning, teaching, serving; suffering
illness, rejection, persecution; sharing
life, sharing Christ so that those in
Africa who have never heard of our
God of love can call on the Lord and
be saved.

of Lesotho. I will be living
amongst them, in very primative conditions, hoping that as
we share our lives with these
shepherds, we will also
be able to share Jesus
with them. As a
team we will learn
their culture and
lanuguage, seeking to understand
them
and be
understood
as we
do life
together.

MASERU:
e are leading
an Extreme
TIMO team of men who live
and work with the semi-nomadic shepherds of Lesotho.
The shepherds live isolated
lives high in the mountains.
The team are adapting to
their culture and language,
seeking to bring the gospel to
this large unreached people
group. Ultimately we will aim
to plant a church among them,
praying that shepherds of animals will become shepherds
of men.
ANTANANARIVO:
e hope to join
the Antananarivo Focus team early next year,
with timing dependent on funding. The team will work with
Malagasy Christians, training
them to become missionaries
to unreached people groups in
their own country. We will learn
the language, study the culture
and gain insight into the vision
and strategies of AIM Madagascar with the view to future
ministry amongst an unreached
people group.
MAPHUTSENG:
e have been
working
with Growing Nations, a
church-based agricultural
organisation teaching Farming
Gods Way & Transformational
Development in Lesotho &
across Southern Africa, since
2012. Heather is the CEO of
Growing Nations & Barry is
working to develop the communications and media side of
the project. Both our roles are
primarily to disciple, mentor,
equip and empower the local
Basotho team.

MAHAJANGA:
e have
returned to
Mahajanga to partner with
a group of local pastors to
catalyse and encourage the
Malagasy church to take the
gospel to unreached people
groups. Currently our focus is
on language learning, prayer
and building relationships with
local pastors.
