EXPLANATION OF THE INVOLVEMENT PROCESS

This form is intended to help you consider your goals and vision to assist in Southsides
ministries of Mission, Mercy, and Transformation so that Christs vision for Southside
may be achieved through loving service to one another and our neighbors.
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you
know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you
are serving.
Colossians 3:23-24

With this scripture in mind, please conduct the steps below:

1. Pray about how your gifts, experience, and interests can be used at Southside.
2. Consider your vision and goals for the Lords kingdom. Feel free to dream!
3. Review the Southside Ministry Description Document.
4. Use this form to describe your vision and goals in ministry. Please complete
questions #1 through #8. If not currently involved or are seeking new
opportunities, also complete questions #9 and #10 to indicate ministries you
want to become part of and describe new ministry areas you will support.
NOTE: You will have an opportunity to learn more about the ministry area(s), time demand and
frequency, responsibilities, and special requirements of the job(s) before making a commitment.

5. Upon request, the Transformation Minister or someone on the Involvement

Team will meet with you to discuss your spiritual gifts, goals, interests, and
availability. Check Yes on question #1 on the form to request this meeting.
6. Once the form is processed and any requested meeting has taken place, one or
more ministers, deacons, or ministry leaders will contact you to provide more
information about Southsides ministries and assist you to find a place to serve.
7. The involvement team will follow up as needed to ensure you have found a
suitable ministry to serve in at Southside and identify any support you require.

Help each member to become a partner in Gods Mission at Southside by fulfilling their dreams of
ministry, connecting each member of the body at Southside with loving service to one another, and
engaging everyone in the fruitful work of the church.
