Natural gas is composed primarily of methane, but may also contain ethane,
Propane, and heavier hydrocarbons. Small quantities of nitrogen, oxygen, carbon
dioxide, sulphur compounds, and water may also be found in natural gas.

SITE -OVERVIEW

The project is an integrated approach towards sustainable growth of Indian LNG

regasification sector in the supply chain of the downstream. Project focuses on
how to deliver the most sustainable & viable LNG regasification plant by
integrating it to other physiological Infra-Energy concepts. Hence the proposal
includes an energy plant, Mini OTEC plants, Off shore wind farms, Multi station
Trans bay facilities. It also involves A Carbon dioxide capture & storage
proposals of carbon recycling

LNG Carrier:
LNG is transported in specially designed ships with double hulls protecting the cargo
systems from damage or leaks. There are several special leak test methods available to
test the integrity of an LNG Vessels membrane cargo tanks.
The tankers cost around USD 200 million each.
This is a typical sectional view of a self-supporting LNG Carrier.

Sustainable methods: Cold Energy Integration:

Also, the cold energy released by cryogenic LNG from the vaporisation can be
harnessed in several ways to improve the combined efficiency and reduce overall
capital and operating costs of LNG Supply chain.
Possible uses for LNG cold energy Integration are:
Inlet air cooling to gas turbines for power generation or compressor drive
applications,
Cold power generation,
