information about current and upcoming events, contact other parishioners, post
photos, leave comments, support parish activities and share ideas. This is another way
we hope to reach out to our community and beyond. If interested in assisting in the

The Annual Christmas Appeal: This Appeal will be taken up at all Masses today.
The Christmas Appeal is one way by which the Diocese can respond to the many
communities around the world who turn to us for assistance. Our response is an
indication of our solidarity with people in need. See Gathering Space where this
Appeal was shared last year.
Christmas Day Meal: Christmas is a time for sharing with family & friends but for
many this is not possible. You are welcome to share a luncheon on Christmas Day
(St Josephs Hall). If interested, please contact Lorri (0400 585 554) or Centacare
(5559 3000).
Making a Scene at Christmas: Thank you to all who contributed last week - those
who lent their cribs and the many volunteers. Thank you also to all who visited the
Exhibition, it was a great success with about 2,000 people enjoying the experience.
We thank Fr Andrew Hayes, Fiona Tonkin and Keith Linard for sharing their
collections with us. See Diocesan E-News article www.ballarat.catholic.org.au
