Recommended addition practice


1. Remove any dross from the Aluminium
bath surface
2. Add the master alloy to the bath at
normal operating temperature before
degassing and casting.
3. Stir the bath well after addition to
ensure homogeneity and optimum
recovery of the alloying element.

Storage
The alloy must be stored in a dry area to
avoid excessive oxidation.
