Harvest

For a child will be born

to us, a son will be given to
us; And the government will rest on His

shoulders; And His name will be called

Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal
Father, Prince of Peace (Isa. 9:6 NASB).
With these words the prophet Isaiah, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, foretold the incredible way that the Messiah
would come into the world. Christmas is a
wonderful time to remember and rekindle
our amazement of Gods great love shown
in the gift of His one and only Son, Jesus.
This Christmas our family has a wonderful
reminder of that amazing love in the birth
of our third child, John Robert Wells. It is
hard to imagine the Creator of the universe coming to earth as a little tiny baby,
so helpless and weak, so extraordinary,
and yet at the same time so common. He
came into this world the very same way

dec 2014

all of us came, as a helpless baby. In fact, if

the angels had not announced his birth or
the star shown in the east, no one probably would have noticed His coming. He
came in humility that He might save, but
He will one day return in power to reign. I
pray we will all be filled with wonder and
awe of His love toward us this Christmas.

Our time in Thailand for

the birth of baby John has been
one answered prayer after another. The
birth went very well, we made it to the
hospital an hour before the birth! Christiana was re-admitted to the hospital for two
days for post delivery complications but is
now doing well. We are so blessed to have
Christianas mom here with us, and now
joined by her dad for Christmas!

Prayer Corner:
Praise for the healthy birth of John
Robert Wells.
Praise that we get to spend the holidays
in Thailand with Christianas parents.
Praise that we have finished five
Khmer book projects this month!
Pray for the various Christmas
outreaches that will be going on
throughout Cambodia; that many
would come to Christ as they hear the
Christmas message.
Pray for our upcoming home
assignment in March 2015.

Thank you all for your

prayers on our behalf.
