Role Purpose
To oversee, manage, monitor and lead the process of installing & accepting externally supplied
applications enabling the fulfillment of business requirements while keeping good working
relationships with the external vendors and suppliers.
Principal Accountabilities

OPERATIONAL
Oversee the implementation of multiple, complex, organization-wide systems.
Allocate and ensure resource arrangements during the systems deployment life cycle.
Liaise with the management and concerned Departments heads to identify and clarify business
requirements.
Participate in, recommend and generate the related documents for the processes of RFP
development and vendor selection and service level measurement of the different suggested
systems and solutions.
Manage and document the process of resolving the raised systems issues and related interaction
with the vendors and suppliers.
Supervise and coordinate the contract management, maintenance and support agreements, and
service level agreements with all the related entities.
Lead the coordination in the process of the procurement, finance, project management, business
analysis and functional requirements, and operations with the related IT sections and the CBUAE
Departments and committees.
Participate in the vendor assessment process and managing all the related documentation for the
financial and qualitative analysis of vendors, suppliers and the related systems and solutions.
Supervise the process of assessing the feasibility of functional requirements.
Ensure the alignment of categorization and prioritization of business requirements.
Supervise the development of technical details for configuration (if required) including monitoring
of cross-module interdependences.
Ensure the optimization of configuration with regards to performance, compatibility with
architecture and functionality.
Manage all the related deployed external systems.
Oversee and support the testing of realized functionality.
Liaise with the external parties to ensure the proper delivery of requested functionality.
Lead the technical requirements of the User Acceptance Test(s) of the supplied systems and
solutions and generate the final result reports.
Conduct and manage the feedback from the end-users about the quality of the deployed systems.
Provide solutions or recommendations on complicated technology issues for application
development and implementation.

Principal Accountabilities
Perform any other duties within the scope of the role.
PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT

Guide and motivate subordinates to enhance performance and produce quality work, and
ensure that they are continuously developed for higher level roles.

Prepare performance evaluation and appraisal reports of direct reports to assess subordinates
productivity and progress, and identify training needs of team members.

Education & Experience Profile

Bachelor degree in computer science, information technology or computer engineering.

4-8 years experience with at least 2 years experience in a similar role in a mid-to-large
enterprise.

Working experience in the UAE, with appropriate familiarity with the UAE market and its
regulations.

Proficient in English, Arabic would be an advantage.
