The Bible From Scratch
Have you been in conversation with someone who quotes so many Bible verses that you feel intimidated and embarrassed about
how little you know about the Bible? Were you ever in a Bible study group when the leader instructed the class members to look
up a Bible passage and you werent quite sure where to look? Have you been invited by someone to attend a Bible study group
but thought of many reasons not to go because you were sure you would feel out of place?
If you answered YES to any of the above questions, then this study is for you. This winter, we will continue the series, The Bible
from Scratch. On January 14 after the meal, we will have an introduction and sign up time. The New Testament for beginners
covers an Introduction to Testaments, Books of Law, Prophets, and Writings, Gospels, Acts, Epistles and Revelation. The goal of
this study is to help you become comfortable reading and studying your Bible as well as being able to enter into conversations
with others about the Bible.
If you have questions about this study, The Bible from Scratch or any other study, we will be having a preview time on Wednesday,
January 14 after the meal. We will be providing more information about these dates and the other studies in coming newsletters

Becoming More Than A Good Bible Study Girl

Becoming More Than A Good Bible Study Girl by Lysa Terkeust. This is a DVD study that focusing in forging a deeper connection
with God. The study will challenge is to step outside of our busy lives, put aside the business, and focus on building a "moment-bymoment" deeply intimate relationship with God". This 6 week class will be led by Scarlette Studdard.

Crazy Love by Francis Chan

Samantha& Jason Hartsell and Buddy Perdue will be leading this 10 week class.

We want to do some work on our childrens classroom. We have a to-do list and our Childrens Council have planned a few
workdays for December/January. We will post our to-do list and are asking you to sign up when you have availability. We know
that this time can be a bit hectic, but we also know that many folks have some down time. Wed love your help on the following projects.

Paint childrens church room

We need a changing table for the nursery

Clean all rooms upstairs. Teachers we ask that you take everything off you walls and lets put up new stuff!

Make and hang signs for nursery, childrens church, Sunday school classes

We need bookshelves, baskets, crates..
