SUCCESS
Everyone associated with Admiral Merchants is concerned about success.
Because of the nature of the people attracted to the transportation industry,
we tend to be pretty competitive. We want to be the best in everything we
do, whether that is in our personal life or our business life. We may measure
success a little differently, depending on where we are, but measure it we do.
It is pretty easy to measure success in our business life usually it is some
financial indicator revenue or profit. For Admiral contractors, I hope
recognition as a member of the Terry Bramer Circle of Excellence is a mark
of success. I hope all Admiral agents believe success includes recognition as a
Tom Seitz Million Dollar Agent.
Business success should not be the most important part of any of our lives. How you do in your
personal life should be more important. In those aspects of your life, success is still very important, but
it is often much more difficult to measure. Nonetheless, it is important to set goals there and measure
progress against your goals.
Whether you are successful in those aspects of your life is one of the many things which is none of my
business. However, as president of Admiral Merchants, it is my responsibility to see to it that Admiral
Merchants is successful. Given our business model, it is not possible for Admiral to be successful
unless our business partners, our agents and contractors, are also successful.
Recently, in my comments published on our web site (www.ammf.com), I urged all contractors to
keep moving at market rates. I continue to be more than a little concerned that as the rate environment
softens, were beginning to see more of our contractors slow down, to get a little more picky as
to the loads they will move. Every year about this time, the balance between freight which has to be
moved and the trucks available to move it changes. There is less demand for transportation services
and, consequently, freight rates decline a little. There is a temptation to sit and wait for rates to
improve. Everyone seems to forget, for at least a little while, that there is a seasonality to this business
which has always been true. Rates always decline in October and generally pick up in the spring. So
in my web page article, I tried to remind everyone that if you want to be successful, you have to keep
moving at market rates.
Most Admiral contractors dont need to be reminded of this. Many of them are enjoying a hugely
successful year in 2014. The Terry Bramer Circle of Excellence is the recognition given by Admiral
to our top contractors. Named after a long-time driver for Admiral, it is given to contractors who
earn the most money while operating safely, in compliance with all safety regulations. To be eligible
for the recognition, a contractor must earn over $175,000.00 in line haul revenue and be free from
claims. Last year, 71 contractors qualified for the award. This year, at least 85 contractors have already
qualified, and we anticipate that that number may increase to 150 by year end. That would be over
a 100% increase! The award ceremony this year will be held at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and
Convention Center in Nashville, home to the Grand Old Opry. For those contractors who are on the
edge, I hope that you will really hit the road for the rest of this year. I would love to see even more
of our contractors in Nashville.
To be successful in this business, all of us must remember that its a pennies business. While all of
us can do something to increase the gross revenue, our greatest effect can be in the area of minimizing
expenses. Our successful contractors really understand their business. They know what it costs to
operate per mile and accept freight which allows them to operate profitably. In addition, they do

In Support of Your Business

All of us at Admiral are committed to the success of our Agent and Contractor Partners. We offer support to grow
your business and through that support our business grows. As you know all of our Agents are assigned a Sales
Person. In most cases they are the original person that you as an Admiral Agent had contact with. If you a long term
veteran Agent it may be someone different. From a visit with you to your local customers, working with a National
Account to pursue new business or working on a project outside the normal scope of our business. Your Sales Person
is available to you to help in many ways to maintain and expand your business. When was the last time you called
him or her?
A recent example of this type of support was a Project with Agent 2713 in Middleburg; FL. Joe had a customer with
a multi load project going from eastern Ontario Canada to Wasilla Alaska. Along with 3 legal shipments there was
one load that weight 130,000lbs. In order for all of these shipments to get from Ontario Canada to Wasilla, AK they had to travel via truck to
Seattle WA then on a barge from Seattle to the Port of Anchorage Alaska then via truck again to Wasilla. This entire project was arranged by
the Agent with the help of Admiral. The project was completed successfully and timely and our Agent had a very happy customer. And with
revenue in excess of $150,000.00 a very happy Agent and Admiral Merchants.
Port of Alaska to Wasilla

Ontario to Seattle

So the moral to this story is, Admiral is part of your team for Sales and Support use this to grow your business to further the success of all of us
As the Holidays are upon us, I would like to wish each and every one of you and your families a Merry Christmas and a Safe and Prosperous
New Year! God bless.

everything in their power to keep expenses down. Operating safely can help reduce expenses in the long run. Admittedly, some of the things
contractors have to do to remain in compliance cost money. However, many dont. Every Admiral employee is supposed to remind every
contractor of the Big Four:
1.
2.
3.
4.

Dont speed;
Wear your seatbelt;
Keep your logs current;
Do a pre-trip inspection and correct all defects.

The first three dont cost a thing. In fact, restricting your speed can actually save fuel expense. Often, deferred maintenance costs much more.
It is often said that if you fix the small items, you wont have many big ones to fix.
I continue to be thrilled because of the association I have with some of the greatest transportation professionals in the industry. You are
successful. You are successful because of your hard work and the level of understanding you bring to your business. Keep it up, and I will see
even more people in Nashville.
Thanks for all you do. Im glad to be associated with a bunch of successful transportation professionals.

Accounting Corner
2014 is rapidly coming to a close so now is the time to
get the financial house in order to make tax preparation
as easy and painless as possible. By January 31st we
will distribute the 1099s with your 2014 earnings.
Many of you enjoyed great success in 2014 due to the
great rates and availability of loads. To insure accurate
reporting please review your 1099 when you receive
them to make sure the taxpayer ID number on the form (either a
Social Security number or Federal ID number) matches the name
that you file your taxes under. We strive to be as accurate as possible
but numbers can be transposed and individuals should understand
that the SSN and TIN numbers are attached to a company legal
name, or the individual name, not a DBA name. Thanks for your
help in reviewing your 1099 when you receive it and let us know if
any errors occur so we may correct our records.
Please utilize the on-line settlement information to retrieve the
income and expense deductions made to you during 2014. It could
possibly save you money and certainly time when preparing your
2014 tax return. With regards to settlements we recently started
emailing settlement information to all of those with email addresses.
This will be a big time saver in the coming year as this is an automatic
process whenever you get a settlement and there will be no reason
to call to see if your settlement is done. We hope to have email
addresses for all contractors and agents in the 1st quarter 2015. It will
be a great time saver for everyone.
We in the settlements and processing departments work hard to
make sure all of the paperwork turned in by the drivers and agents is
correctly invoiced and paid in a timely fashion. In order to get this
done in the most efficient manner, we need help from you.
For the drivers: Please make sure to turn in an Admiral Bill of Lading
and Delivery Receipt with EVERY load you haul. These can be
obtained from our Contractor Services department. Remember - a
Bill of Lading is required for each trip.

Also, please make sure the paperwork is legible and has the trip
number on EVERY piece of paper that you turn in. This will ensure
that all of your paperwork is invoiced correctly, and will not slow
your pay.
For the agents: Please enter your billing information online or send
in your dispatch sheet when you dispatch your drivers. This will
ensure there are no hold-ups in getting the drivers paid once they
turn in their paperwork. Also, please be sure to fully fill out all
required fields. We would rather have too much information than
not enough.
Those with common problems are set aside for further review and are
processed after all the trips without questions have been entered. In
order to make sure you are getting paid in the fastest time possible,
please follow the steps above. By creating guidelines to adhere to, we
can all accomplish our jobs with much less hassle in a much quicker
time.
If you have any questions, please check the back of your trip report
for a list of all required documentation!
Complete information allows us to also comply with IFTA
requirements of reporting all the miles driven by our contractors
which we are required to do. This also insures we provide you
accurate information for IRP miles, and reporting related to miles.
Thank you for your continued assistance.
We wish all of you a happy and joyful Christmas and New Years and
look forward to meeting the challenges of success in 2015 with each
of you.

Fuelbook
How would you like to save upwards of $100 per fill-up? If you save that each week, that is a
$5,200 savings in just one year!! Fuelbook is an app that allows you immediate access to Admirals
real-time fuel discounts, location services and other information necessary at each fuel stop in the
country. Fuel book is offered to you at $5 a month or at a discounted annual cost of $49.99.
If you have not used it or dont know anything about it, talk to one of the drivers who has it.
Just as an example, Admiral Merchants gets the greatest savings at the TA/Petro stops, but not all
locations have the same discounted rate. Using the app, you could see that at the next stop or the
next state, you could save an additional $.10 or more per gallon by driving a little further. For the
annual cost of the app, you could save that on your very first fueling.
Get yourself signed up for it. Talk to your fellow contractors. See how they are saving more money.
Those savings go right to your bottom line. Below is a link that will allow you to get signed up for
it electronically. Link is a safe and secure site. Within mere minutes of signing up, you will get your
code emailed to you. Put the code into the app and you are good to go.

NEWS AND NOTES FROM THE IT DESK

Is it already the end of 2014? Like
every year, each day just seems
to fly right by. As we continue
to grow as a company, we are
looking for better and more
efficient ways to achieve a higher
level of Customer Service.
1) We rolled out a new web page, on a new hardware platform. You
should have a much better experience with the new page. You
noticed an improvement to the speed at which you are able to
do your business while on the page. We added some additional
items to the page.
a.

Canadian Load Board: to help those who like to run to and from
Canada.

b. Approved Carrier List: updates the same way the Inbound and
Load boards update.
c. Mass updates of posted loads: a few years ago we gave you the
ability to delete a bunch of your loads at one time. You wanted
to be able to do the same to change the dates. We launched the
new Update Loads page. You can update one or up to all of your
posted loads at one time.
d. Coming soon: Transfer a posted load into Truck Dispatch, some
Mobile Apps for the Load Board.
2) Fuelbook App is BACK!!!! Thanks to all who use this app, you
were vital in helping us work with the team at Fuelbook to offer
you this valuable tool at a cost that makes sense. You have 2
options, $49.99 a year or $5 a month. For this fee, you will have
access to put this app on 2 mobile devices. You have a phone
and tablet, you pay one fee. If you have a 3rd, that would be an
additional fee. All fees are paid when you sign up for the app
and you will be billed annually when due. From the Drivers
page, click on Fuel Discount Info and you will see the option for
Fuelbook. Fuelbook works on the iPhone, iPad and any Android
device (phone or tablet).

3) Trip Docs still some minor issues getting trip docs in the
correct format. If you are scanning and emailing us your
documents, we need them to be black and white and either a
.tif or .pdf file. We are still getting color photos (.bmp, .jpg)
and documents in the wrong format. If we are not able to find
your paper work, it could mean a short delay in getting you
paid. The last thing we want to do is delay your pay. You want
a virtually fool-proof way to get us your paper work? Several
options are available to you. TripPak or Transflo Mobile: these
allow you to submit from a photo taken by your Android or
Apple device. Both are available from Google Play or the Apple
App Store. In Cab scanning: TripPak In Cab and Transflo Now.
With a computer and scanner, you scan from the cab of the
truck or home office. There are links to this software and other
valuable info on the Processing page. Look for Scan from Truck
and Truckstop Scanning. There is also a link to find where to
scan your paperwork at a fuel stop.
One of the most valuable tools you have access to is a Smartphone.
Remember the days of pay phones? In the same way that mobile
phones made the pay phone obsolete. Smartphones have changed
the spectrum of communication. If you dont have a smartphone,
you are missing probably the most valuable tool you can have in your
truck. Having all the information at your fingertips is becoming a
necessary business tool. If you are ready for a phone upgrade, get a
Smartphone. Try one, you will like it!
Thank you for a great 2014 and looking forward to continuing into
2015. Wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and Happy New
Year. Be safe, obey the speed limit, wear your seat belt, do your pretrip inspection and keep your logs current. Dishon and I appreciate
all that you do for Admiral.

In Memoriam
We have recently lost members of the Admiral family. While some may have been known by many and others by few, we wanted to
take a moment to reflect on those we have lost.
Bernard Jack Ponts (1746A) from Aloha, OR, signed on with Admiral February, 1994. He passed away on September 23,
2014. Jack was a former member of Admirals Agent-Contractor Council and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Mickey Sales (Agent 2249) from Ormond Beach, FL has worked as an Admiral Agent since January, 2011. He passed away
on September 30, 2014. Mickey will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Mickeys wife, Teresa, will continue operating
their Agency, representing Admiral.

Jackie Werner (Agent 2237) from Wesley Chapel, FL has worked as an Admiral Agent since March, 2011. She passed away on
November 6, 2014 after fighting a long battle with cancer. Jackie will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Her husband,
John, will continue operating their Agency, representing Admiral.

Credit Topics
The Admiral Credit Team wanted to
communicate a few topics that seem to circle
around and are important to keep in the
forefront. Are Credit Topics boring? Some
may say the answer is YES, but they are a
necessity.
Credit Applications - All potential customers
must complete an Admiral Merchants Credit
Application. No new accounts shall be established nor shall
accounts receive an increase in their line of credit without
documentation of policy-abiding approval by the Credit
Department. Please Note: The Credit Application can be
found on the Admiral website under the Credit tab and in
Forms.
Service Failures Working on a Service Failures is the most
difficult part of the Collection Specialists job. The Collection
Specialists wants Drivers to know that by obtaining a copy of
the Rate Confirmation and understanding the load will assist
in avoiding a Service Failure.
The number one Service Failure that occurs at Admiral is a late
delivery.
The way we usually find out about a Service Failure is we
are informed by the customer that there is a problem with a
trip; and for whatever reason, the end result of the delivery
did not meet their specifications. Often times the result is
a short payment or a non-payment of an invoice. A service
failure typically triggers an emotional response from all parties

involved, but we need your help to get to a resolution.

Rate Confirmations and Late Deliveries - In the event you are
going to deliver load late, for whatever reason, make sure the
Agent you are working with assists you in obtaining a revised
Rate Con, an email approval or something in writing, signed
and dated. A verbal commitment does not and will not work.
Truck Order Not Used (TONU) The Credit Team works
really hard at trying to collect the money for a TONU. We
have never required a rate confirmation for a TONU; although
it is extremely helpful when we receive one, as we all know
having documentation or something in writing helps speed up
the payment.
Advance Payment An Advance Payment load requires that
payment for the load is made prior to the Admiral Driver
picking up or loading. The Advance Payment Policy applies to
all loads when credit is not granted to the customer. Payment for
the delivery must be secured prior to the Admiral Contractor/
Driver picking up the load. Please note: Admiral Merchants
does not accept processing fees associated with any payment
type. No company or personal checks are to be accepted and
cash is never to be accepted at any time.
The Credit Team is here to assist you and can be reached at
866-880-8277 or email credit@ammf.com. Have a safe and
wonderful Holiday Season.

Reducing Claims is our GOAL

Admiral has always served as a platform for
transportation professionals to build their careers.
In writing about success for transportation
professionals, Brian Short touched upon the
Big Four and their role in driving your success.
Those straightforward steps will always serve as
the core of safe operation. But, in order to give
Admiral drivers the opportunity to continue to
grow, we are developing new programs to add to
the Big Four to encourage safe driving and facilitate your success. To
do this, Admiral studied every accident over the last four years and
identified areas in which Admiral drivers encounter risks. Before we
address those areas, I would like to applaud our contractors on their
overall safe driving records and the fact that accidents have decreased
over the last four years. It is clear that Admiral drivers have a greater
focus on safety than the average driver.
When we examine the situations in which Admiral drivers came in
contact with other vehicles or property, the most common accidents
are also the most avoidable. They are what I refer to as parking lot
accidentslow speed contact in close quarters. Over our studys
range, we found the following results:
Contacting a Vehicle While Backing:
70 Accidents, Average Cost $1,701/Accident
Contacting a Parked Vehicle:
46 Accidents, Average Cost $3,338/Accident
Contacting Private Property:
78 Accidents, Average Cost $658/Accident
The common theme with all of these accidents is that they could
be greatly reduced with a little extra care in low speed situations. To
help reduce these claims, we are rolling out a new objective called
G.O.A.L., or Get Out And Look. When you are in a truck stop,
a parking lot, or a shippers or receivers location, we ask that you
take 30 seconds to get out of your cab and check your surroundings.
If possible, ask someone to help guide you into a parking spot or
through a narrow pass. The benefit of making G.O.A.L. a part of your
routine is that a reduction in these minor collisions helps you avoid

delays, keeps your money in your pocket, and keeps you from having
to talk to the claims department. Brian Short will detail the program
in the coming weeks in a separate mailing, so I encourage you to keep
an eye out for that official announcement.
We are also announcing an incentive plan designed to reduce
merging and lane changing accidents. The National Transportation
Safety Board found in its 2014 study that mirror-relevant maneuvers
(merging and lane changing) comprised 20% of all commercial truck
accidents. In our study, these accidents accounted for over $300,000
in damagesmore than any other category. In order to address this
risk, Admiral will begin to reward drivers who take steps to cut down
on their blind spots. If you show us that you have taken steps to cut
down on your blind spot through the use of fender mirrors, cameras,
or other mitigating steps, Admiral will reduce your deductible if you
are involved in a lane changing and merging accidents anywhere
from $250 to $500. The deductible reduction is limited only to
merging and lane changing accidents. The details of this program and
instructions on how to enroll will be announced soon.
To make sure that we introduce plans in a way that our contractors
will embrace, I invite all of you to contact me directly and give me
your suggestions on how we can reduce accidents and keep you
moving. I understand that many accidents are unavoidable, so our
goal is reduction. Feel free to suggest incentive plans, safety measures,
or even criticize our approach. Participation in the planning process
or the overall programs is completely voluntary, but the only way an
initiative will succeed is if we all work together and engage in the
process. I look forward to hearing your ideas on how we can achieve
our goals.
As always, if you are involved in an accident, incident, or have a cargo
issue, the Claims Department is here to help you 24 hours a day,
seven days a week at the following numbers:

Achieving Our Core Value of Safety- Proper Load Securement

You may have heard about the three Ls for real estate location, location, location. Now we have the three Ls for
Admiral load securement, load securement, load securement!!
As a carrier that specializes in flatbed freight, we should be experts in load securement. I see far too many load securement
violations on roadside inspections from our contractors. Please make sure you are only using load securement devices
that are in good condition even if it is an extra strap. For load straps that means, no cuts, frays or knots. For chains
that means none of the links are stretched or bent. You must also know the working load limit of your securement
devices in order to know that you have the proper amount for your load. Also remember that Admiral company policy
states: AMMF requires you to use at least one or two more securing devices than the minimum, as described in the
FMCSR Handbook, so it stays in place, even in an emergency. If you have any questions about whether or not you have enough securement,
please call the safety department and we will help you figure it out. In the event we are not available, consult your FMCSA handbook and
then put on a couple more straps or chains than you think you need. Remember, if your trailer does not have a header board, then you must
have an additional strap within the first 10 feet of your load to prevent forward movement.
Load securement violations are avoidable, along with speed violations and log violations. You, as a driver, have complete control over all of
these.
One of Admirals Core Values is In order to protect our Drivers and the traveling public, and ensure shipper satisfaction, we emphasize safety
and compliance with all of our Agent and Driver partners. As always, please take the extra time to plan your trip so that you dont have to
speed or falsify your logs, and make sure you have proper load securement. Proper planning eliminates stress and reduces the chance of having
an accident. It also reduces the chance that you will receive violations on a roadside inspection.
Admiral has an incentive program to reward drivers for inspections with no violations. We will put money into your maintenance account for
every clean inspection. A clean level 1 will get you $75, a clean level 2 = $50 and a clean level 3 will add $25 to your maintenance account.
If you dont have a maintenance account, we will set one up for you when you get your first clean inspection. The money is yours to use
whenever you need it, just contact the settlement department and ask them to move it to your Tchek card.
There is no doubt that your job gets harder every day. With new regulations and CSA adding additional scrutiny; you have to be more
and more diligent about planning your trips, inspecting your loads and making sure your paperwork and logs are in order. We at Admiral
appreciate what you do on a daily basis to provide excellent customer service to our customers while operating in a safe and compliance
manner. It does not go unnoticed. Thank you!
From all of us in the safety department - have a safe and happy holiday season!!
Holly Caskey
Director of Safety

Posting a Number of Loads at the Same Time

One of the main tools we have to help our Agents
move their loads on Admiral Trucks is the Load
Posting Screen. Instead of taking a chance that
a fax might be sitting on one of our Freight
Coordinators desk while they are talking to our
Drivers, if our Agents load is on the Web Page,
not only do our Coordinators see it, but so do all
of the Drivers who check it daily. Its a great tool
and moves a lot of freight on our Trucks.
We heard that not everyone has the time to post all of their loads
because of the time it takes while still being able to manage your
phones, emails, faxes etc. Many of your loads may not get moved, or
the trucks available to you, misses out on your great loads. Tim Neid
has developed a way for our Agents who have faced this dilemma with
an answer that can work well.
When you have loads that have a single shipping point, but have
multiple delivery points in a particular state, you can use the city VAR.

STOPS (and the state) as the destination. The same works for when
you have several shipping points in a state, but a single delivery point.
When you use that city/state combo, you want to put additional info
in the 2 Details boxes telling the driver where they are picking or
delivering or add We also have additional loads available - please call
A posting like this could pique the interest of our Drivers and you
might start getting calls you would not have otherwise. The best load
is one that is moving on an Admiral trailer, so if you need to save time
and still want to see plans come together, give this method a try.
Stay Safe and have a Great Holiday Season, See ya in 2015!!!

A LITTLE COURTESY GOES A LONG WAY

Phone call from Driver Joe to Agent #1: Hey, Im interested in that load you have posted on the Admiral board from

Driver Joe to Agent #1: Well ok, thanks partner.

Agent #3 to Driver Joe: Damn, all you drivers keep calling me about loads. I dont know if the shipper even has it. Click.
Driver Joe: #!%#!# (expletive)
Agents, you should get the point by now. Please be generous about posting your loads on the Admiral load board especially from direct
shippers. It only takes a minute or less and is the best way to advertise to our drivers what is available to them.
However, if you post a load and move it or know that it is no longer available, please; please take it off the board as quickly as you can. It
only takes a second or two to remove.
Its tough enough for our drivers pulling your loads cross country through snow, wind and rain while watching out for the four wheelers not
even knowing if they will find a place to park for the night before their hours run out. One bit of kindness and consideration for what they
do for you would be to keep your posted loads current and make life just a little easier for those that we all depend on to get the job done.
Without our drivers, we have nothing.
Lets all work together. Thanks guys and gals!

New Members Joining the Admiral Family

Please join me in welcoming our new OD/OW
Permit manager, Megan Erickson, to Admiral. Megan
started her career in the transportation industry at
T-Chek, working in their OD/OW department. She
cut her teeth on permitting OD/OW loads before
moving up to permitting super loads. Megan was
then promoted to a managerial position, where she
was charged with the responsibility of managing the
top three Heavy Haul accounts. In addition to meeting the super
load permitting requirements of these top customers, Megan trained
all new employees and led a team of fifteen Permit specialists.
As a seasoned professional, Megan was able to make a very positive
impact on her very first day at Admiral, and has been off and running
ever since. She will be working on streamlining processes and
procedures and implementing an on-line permit application to speed
the permitting process and cut hold times. Megan will keep you
updated on other initiatives she is taking on a regular basis on the
permit web page or by sending out notifications to you.
When Megan is not working, she spends time with her family, which
includes two daughters Jacey (12 years old) and Madalyn (11 months
old). Since Megan is originally from WI, she is a die-hard Green Bay
Packer fan.

In addition to Megan, the open Operation Assistants position was

accepted by Ashely Anderson, with 7 years of prior experience at

Megan Erickson

Ashley Anderson

Supervalu in their Procurement department, creating purchase

orders for transfers between their warehouses. Some of her duties
here include invoicing permits and escort bills, and assisting both the
permit and brokerage departments in their daily duties. Ashely has
been a terrific asset in both departments and continues to learn more
every day. In her free time, Ashley is also working on getting her
bachelors degree and enjoys crafting, playing volleyball and rooting
for the Minnesota Twins.
Id like to close by wishing all of you a safe and happy holiday season
with your loved ones!

New Referral and Sign-On Bonus Program

DO YOU WANT TO MAKE EXTRA MONEY??
What did he say??? Make EXTRA money??? Well, of course I do!
Have you ever heard ANYONE in your whole life answer that question with a no thanks? I know I certainly haventand
by the way, you will NEVER hear me answer it that way either..Whats that? You too? Great!
Now that we have established some commonality between us, lets talk about how YOU can make some of that extra money
with Admiral.
On November 1, 2014, Admiral took a big step forward in its approach to growth and prosperity, when it announced its
new Recruiting Referral and Sign-On Bonus Incentive Program. We realize the importance of attracting good quality contractors to our
company, so that together we can grow and prosper many years into the future. The key thing to remember is that in larger numbers, we are
stronger and better positioned to negotiate for even better deals and programs for you, our Agents and Contractors, such as with our insurance
and fuel-discounts offerings. The bigger we are the bigger the shippers we get, the bigger our customer base becomes and the more opportunities we have to load your trucks and cover your freight. We have a problem we need to fix. We have more freight than trucks to haul it. So,
we need to recruit more Contractors period!
We also know that we cannot do it without your help and we are prepared to pay you for it. Besides, our Agents, Contractors and Drivers
are by far our very best recruiters and it is through YOU that we get the very best quality Contractors. Below, I have included a copy of the
leaflet we released to our existing Agent, Contractor and Driver fleet on November 1st, outlining the details of this program. The beautiful
thing about it is that there is NO LIMIT to how much you can make. We will gladly pay you each and every time you refer a new truck to
us. Bring one truck in, get paid $500. Bring ten trucks in and get paid $5,000, and so on. The more you bring in, the more we pay you
(see program for more details and stipulations on payout schedules). We want to grow and make money WITH you, not FROM you.
Please help us grow. Refer contractors to us and get paid for your efforts. If you have any questions about this new program, call Contractor
Services at 800-972-8864.

Pennys Lane
Admiral contractors and drivers strive to provide excellent customer service on a daily basis, but we seldom hear feedback. However, when customers
do express their thanks and appreciation for outstanding service, we want to recognize those individuals who go the extra mile and thank them for
being part of Admiral.

Please help us congratulate Joe Spears (6017) on the birth of his new grandson,
Jet David Hardin. Jet made his grand entrance on Sunday, November 9th, and
weighed in at 8 lbs. Joe cant get past the doting Grandmas, and has only been
able to hold him once but was thrilled to be there when Jet was born.

October 03, 2014 - On behalf of Admiral, we would like to extend our thanks and appreciation to Charlie Roberts (6080) for recovering a
Trane load so that it could be delivered on time. Thanks Charlie.

On October 17th, Fred Haase (Agent 2248) called to let us know that Allen from Fenner Dunlop called to praise Mike Nagy (6191) &
Curt Sanlo (5696A). According to Allen, they were both very personable, professional, and a pleasure to work with. The fork lift driver
even had great things to say about them. Allen says thank you for your wonderful customer service and professional representation of
AMMF. On behalf of Admiral, kudos to Mike and Curt for their outstanding professionalism and service!

Pennys Lane, Continued

John Patten, one of our former Independent Contractors, suffered a tragic accident that left him partially paralyzed. John wants everyone to
know that he is making progress in his physical therapy but has a long road ahead of him. He also wants to share his thanks and appreciation
for the support he has received from our Agent and Contractor family. John especially wants to thank Steve Williams for his generosity and
friendship. Steve won a $500.00 gift card at our last Driver Appreciation BBQ and immediately donated it to Johns family to help cover
some of their enormous medical expenses. In addition, John also wants to thank Brian and Lisa Clevenger (agent 3165) for their help and
support, along with many others.
John, the entire Admiral family misses you and wants you to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. We admire the strength and
courage youve shown throughout this tragic ordeal and know that you will persevere.

**We would love to publish pictures of your equipment too! E-mail your pictures to khedtke@ammf.com so that we can post them in the next edition
of Pennys Lane! **
