JOB RESPONSIBILTIES:

Study of design drawings to analyze and evaluate all purchasing requisitions to clarity and
completeness in description of material.
Reviewing technical specification, Bill of Quantity to determine suitable vendors and
suppliers.
Review vendors and suppliers quotations to determine best price and deliver date.
Review the quality level & standards of suppliers to verify they meet the standards such
as ASME,TEMA,IBR and EIL etc.
Preparing and issuing requests for quotations to qualified vendors as per clients approved
vendor list.
Reviewing quotations of identified technical and commercial specifications received from
the vendors and suppliers.
Verification of stock to reduce the inventory.

Initiate purchase orders in accordance with selected suppliers, price and technical
specifications. Preparation of TDC, getting approval Review of vendor QAP as per technical
documents.
Negotiate with suppliers to ensure that target prices, companys terms and conditions are
met.
Detailed planning and reporting activities related to procurement.
Preparing comparative analyses documents related to specs, price, delivery conditions and
mode of transportations.
Follow up and maintain the system with the vendors so that the materials are available at
the right time.
Review of material test certificates and authorizing for technical queries. in order to meet
the technical delivery conditions.
Giving clearance for technical queries of sub vendor, If required inspecting and expediting
the works at sub vendor end.
Inspecting new vendor shop for approval and authorizing for developing new vendors.
Internal follow up for material clearance like GRIR & GRR with inward and quality control
department.
Coordinating with project department for material planning and to resolve design change
materials matching.
Follow up with finance to get the payment done at the right time to the suppliers.

Avoid overstocking by working with warehouse manager on slow moving inventory.
